Itinerary
On this tour, we will visit the following iconic points of the San Cristóbal area, the first one is: Rosa Blanca: It's a small bay its main attraction is the large beach located in the center of the small bay where there is a large number of dunes. added to its crystal clear waters generate an attractive landscape unique to the area. The entire bay of Rosa Blanca and its lowlands is an ideal area for fishing of wahoo, palometa, ojón, liza, cod. Additionally, there are shark, ray and sea turtle species that are the ideal complement for snorkeling activities.
The next spot on our journey will be: Sardina Bay which is characterized for being a place for fishing of several species such as sardines, liza, octopus, lobster, shrimp, among others. Includes two beaches whose attractions are its small white sand dunes together with its crystalline waters suitable for snorkeling, taking into account that in this bay there is a large presence of sea turtles, rays and sea lions
The last place will be Also Kicker Rock, is a rock formation or eroded cone of volcanic tuff (ash) located outside the island of San Cristóbal. It is a refuge for many seabirds as blue-footed boobies, as well as for sea lions. The waters around the rock are home to numerous species of fish, sea turtles, rays and hammerhead sharks, the snorkeling in this place is one of the highlights in the whole archipelago

The water visibilty in 11 galapagos snorkling trips was shocking one to two meters. Galapagos is a total waste of time and money for snorkling outer islands.
Zero stars. The activity didn’t exist. Viator took my money so I’m out of pocket by £200. They also passed my personal details to a local agent who is a well known aggressive addict/alcoholic. Viator’s response to me asking for a refund and compensation was ‘see you in court.’ A terrible experience. I will never use Viator again.
WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE. BEWARE OF TOUR OPERATORS AROUND THE ISLAND: BE SURE TO BUY YOUR TOURS DIRECT FROM THE SELLER AT THE ISLAND; NO UNTERMEDIARIES. CRAZY SIMPLE. IF YOU CAN GO TO ROATAN HONDURAS OR BELIZE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE TO ECUADOR. GALAPAGOS.
This snorkeling tour was great. Had a fabulous nature guide. They provide wetsuits, snorkeling equipment, snacks, lunch & drinks. We stopped at 4/5 places 2 snorkeling + beach time, ( u could snorkel off beach or go snorkeling w/ sharks). I Swam with sea turtles, and blackfin sharks, and saw sting rays... This trip was amazing. I have been on at least 25 + snorkeling trips from Bali to Costa Rica and in between. I saw more amazing sea animals on this trip than anywhere I have ever snorkeled. The c0rew was great. It is about $ 165 per person (off-season), but worth every dollar. The trip was 7-8 hours.
The 8.5 hour trip around the island was horrific for us. Between stops, the boat went so fast that we were thudding into the waves, spray everywhere. We were naive, expecting a more leisurely experience! We both felt pretty bad on the boat (wife was sick), no way could we eat lunch! We didn't snorkel so didn't see a lot (that was our fault, not the boat's). I accept that we're not great boat travelers, if you're not then our advice is not to go.
I would book this trip early. It looks like the Hammerhead boat is filled on a first come first served basis. We had a much lesser boat - not as advertised. The representative that fit us for our fins and suits was uncaring (my husband received two different sized fins) and he put everything in one bag (use separate bags for each person). The guide, while informative, did his job, but did not seem overly enthusiastic. My friends went with another company and for a much lower price they had a better time. I have used Viator several times and have been very happy but Viator you can do better with this one.
Unfortunately the tour never showed up a the pier and we missed our opportunity to do the main thing we were hoping to do, snorkel at Kicker rock. Book at your own risk. Our travel agent is working to get a refund from Viator. Hopefully we will get a refund for this costly tour.
I'm not sure if I actually went on this tour with BM Tours SA - as the person who was supposed to meet me never showed up. Another tour operator from Andry Tours looked at my voucher and said they would take me since they are all "a family." I actually ended up with a completely different group - so this review is really for Andry Tours and whatever agency they connected me with. That said. The tour was very enjoyable. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable and helped us to see sea lions, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, and hammerhead sharks (from a distance). The three snorkeling spots were full of marine wildlife. Note to those considering this trip, depending on the boat and the season, the water can be extremely rough. Even some of those who never get seasick were feeling quesy. Keep in mind for those who get easily seasick, you might spend about 1/4 of the time - the portion of the day in the roughest waters - feeling pretty bad without dramamine, etc.
Do not book this experience. This is a third party booking operator. Our experience, along with several other groups we spoke with ended up in a nightmarish situation booking through this site. In most all cases, they not honor the reservation, and overcharge without securing the booking. Several of us were put on the wrong boat, never mind the wrong tour altogether. We all had no choice but to take off to sea on a random boat without any knowledge of where we were going. DANGEROUS. The guide took us to a random snorkel spot, swam off and left half of the group in the open water to fend for ourselves for 1 hour. Absolutely DANGEROUS AND NOT SAFE. Please, do your research before booking any tour in the Galapagos. I hope this review helps many. Stay safe.
Very nice sight seeing. Highlight was that we saw the red footed Booby. Snorkeling was disappointing. Guide raised expectation mentionning orcas, delphins, sharks, but we only saw a fin of a supposedly hammerhead shar but we were not allowed to jump. At kicker rock we jumped but water was murky some fish and lots of turtles. Current at the wall made it difficult to snorkel. Make sure you get a good mask as some are crap. Also the snorkel lets water in (not the advanced type. Best to bring your own. You get a wet suit.
We paid to snorkel and fish, the tour did NOT take us fishing. Several times we asked the guide when we would fish and he said “next stop” and there was never a next stop. Also he was way more concerned with videoing content for himself, not guiding or informing us about any of the areas. At Kicker Rock we almost got hit by rockfall and the guide was oblivious, I honestly feel we could have been killed. So on top of not getting what we paid for, we had an epically useless guide. Do yourself a favor and shop around, this tour was the low point of our vacation.
360 Tour San Cristobal - a perfect day! Fabo (aka Shinoby) and his wife, owners of Eco Challengers, perfectly organized a highly professional, fun, informative, and diverse full-day tour around San Cristobal. We saw and swam with many animals including sea lions, sea turtles, sharks, blue-footed boobies, etc. Fabo, a certified Galapagos guide, explained a lot about the wildlife and island in a fun and informative way. The tour was well organized and felt really safe with support from a chef and captain on board, and with great fresh snacks and a delicious lunch. The equipment for snorkling was new and in a great condition. Thank you Fabo for this amazing day!
Snorkeling, great. Boat we took out left a lot to be desired. When we booked this tour a newer in appearance boat was advertised, when we took the water taxis to the boat we used that day it wasnt the same as pictured. It did the trick but was small and on the older side. Kicker rock was amazing, the two beaches before hand were also very nice with a variety of sharks. Our naturalist onboard, Liam, very enthused, knowledgable and seems to really care about the environment and the animals that call it home.
This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to explore hard to reach parts of San Cristóbal and learn about the beautiful ecosystem. Our guide, Lorenzo, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The entire crew made us feel welcome and accommodated. The tour is a good mix of guided exploration and free time. I recommend taking a motion sickness pill beforehand if you’re not used to being on open water. I highly recommend this tour!!
The tour was not good, we when with Andry and the guide Gustavo, was sleeping, was not attentive and some how rude. the boat wasn’t good as well. we saw much more in others free tours.
Awesome trip. Great snorkeling and sea life. Crew was amazing. Went to several locations and saw turtles, sharks, sting rays and lots of fish.
Don't forget your Dramamine. Apply sunscreen. It was a great first tour. We got to touch on all parts of the island. We saw turtles, dolphins, sharks, sting rays, etc. it was a great time! But be prepared for a pretty bumpy ride!
THE 360° TOUR IS A MUST IN SAN CRISTOBAL! We had such an amazing experience, this will surpass all your expectations! I highly recommend it. Shout out to our guide, Wilson! PS: please tip the crew at the end of the tour, they are all independent contractors.
My advice is to book on the island. Others in my tour paid $100 less. It’s all the same boats and group of guides for all the companies and they just shuffle you to whatever boat. My meal request was not honored and all I got was an empty apology when I asked after the trip (it’s very active and having a decent meal is necessary. I wish I had known they would do this to me so I could have packed my own meal). There’s no “naturalist” as much as guides who can point out the animals and birds. The experience itself was neat but I wish I had known all this ahead of time.
My husband and I LOVED this tour, and it was one of the highlights of our Galapagos experience. We snorkelled with sea turtles, sharks, rays and many fish... and were exhilarated in the channel between the rocks on Kicker Rock. We also swam out to a rock with blue-footed boobies on it (though didn't like the horseflies that bit us once we returned to the beach!) We also loved the commentary as we boated all around the coast of San Cristobal. Our tour guide Fabricio was a passionate, funny and charming advocate for wildlife, and has the best sea lion impression ever lol :) (We were happy to discover that we had unwittingly captured it in a couple of our videos.) We were also inexperienced snorkellers (and over 60), and Fabricio made us feel calm and confident (and only laughed a little bit when I put my wetsuit on backwards first time haha!). He also single-handedly dragged three non-swimmers who were hanging on to a donut, while swimming faster than any of us! Fabricio, if you're reading this, you were our favourite of the four tour guides we experienced on our trip! (And we'd love to see the GoPro photos you took that day - April 28, 2022. I had to leave my email address with you because I didn't have WhatsApp :))
Snorkeling with the various sea life. Learning about the ecosystem of the Galapagos. Lots to see in 8 hours!
What I wish I knew before I booked: You can make reservations a day or 2 days before so you don’t have to plan. Booking before and online is way more expensive. And I feel mislead. I thought there would be more fishing. We only threw one cast out and reeled it in. The tour itself gets 5 stars. The guide and boat were great and it was a surreal and beautiful experience. You have to do this if you visit Galapagos and plan to do trip by land
I loved our trip a lot. IT was well organized and we saw a lot of dolphins. We also saw sea lions and turtles. We were not able to complete our swimming near the Kick Rock which was supposed to be a highlight of the tour. The current was strong and it was dangerous. I don't know if it would be different in the morning or not. We did it as the last stop. The only thing that we were disappointed was the price of the tour. We paid 227 dollars in advance, but the tours over there cost 120-145 dollars per person depending on the company. I think Viator over charged us. I agree to pay a little bit extra but not a 100 dollars extra per person. And I had 10 people in my group. Everything else was very good. the tour guide was good, our lunch was nice and all the people enjoyed the trip.
This was our first excursion on the Galapagos and our guide Andres, blew our expectations! Sharks within minutes of hitting the water. Turtles and sea lions everywhere!! Andres helped us get perfect pictures at Darwin’s window. 🤩🤩🤩 We ended our day at Kicker Rock where we ran into a big school of hammerheads while snorkeling! Doesn’t get better than that!!
For me it was an unforgettable experience that you NEVER FORGET!! Super recommended your 360 tour!!! From the moment you leave until you arrive you record wow moments in your memory!! Your guides to more than being trained and validated are making you love every moment! They are very friendly and patient! On board spectacular food, delicious snacks!! And very delicious fresh water and fruit!! The Guacamola aboard!! RICH! We saw a lot of flora and fauna!! Sea turtles, sea lions, fish of all kinds, hammerhead sharks!!! Blue-footed boobies! Frigates, countless beautiful birds!! The snorkeling 🤿 with them is the best experience!! If you're new to it!! Don't worry!! They will make you feel like fish in the water!! Thanks for making us live an unforgettable experience!! Every second was worth it!! We will definitely return with friends and family!!! A thousand stars for you!!! Keep it up!! Getting better by the day 🫶🏼🙌🏻❤️🌎
Interesting tour and you can see the best beaches, snorkel and get to know the habitat of the island. It is reasonable, in my opinion, due to the quality/price and little interaction with guide and the rest of the group.
Amazing tour! Really recommended! Thank you BM TOURS x all the tips, suggestions and put together the perfect trip for my son and me! We're so happy! We have to plan the next destination!
Super recommended, the guide was super friendly, the boat staff very professional, always had water and fruit in case we were low energy. Very attentive that we all have very good times.
