Full Day Tour Pinzon Island + La Fe/las Palmas - Snorkeling & Fishing

I highly recommend this tour mainly for how incredible the snorkeling experience is! We had very favorable weather and the water was clear and we were able to see so many fish, sharks, playful sea lions, and even a huge manta ray! The guide and boat crew were very friendly and kept everyone engaged and having fun. Highly recommend this tour if you are primarily interested in snorkeling. As others have mentioned, there is a small fishing demonstration while on the way back to port, but it isn’t what this tour is known for and is really just a secondary fun thing to witness while relaxing on the way back. All in all, worth every penny just for the all day, multiple location snorkel experience.

Ricardo is an excellent guide. I saw a shark and multiple sting rays thanks to him! Overall good experience.

My family (15 and 16 yo kids and husband) and I did two full day snorkeling tours with this company and this was my favorite of the two because we saw so many animals. The boat was comfortable, not luxurious. We swam with large, mostly sleeping sharks and sea lions. The sea turtles were massive and numerous! The food was fine. The guide (Marco) was knowledgeable and friendly.

I loved this day!! It was one of my favorite experiences. We saw turtles, thousands of fish, white tipped reef sharks, seals and pups, an octopus…it was amazing. If you like to prove what you saw, make your go pro works! lol The food was fantastic, met some great people from around the world, and the weather was gorgeous…just an all around amazing day!

We decided to take this trip because of the amazing reviews we read and because the price was a lot better compared to other tours advertised here in Trip Advisor. The tour was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We saw so many animals especially sharks and turtles. The food was really tasty and the boat was fantastic, everything was very clean and new. There were a couple of boats nearby doing the same tour and we could tell our boat was the best one in terms of conditions and space so we were very happy with our decision. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our experience on this tour. Our tour guide Grace, was very helpful and enthusiastic. She explained to us how to safely interact in our environment, so we wouldn't disturb the marine life too much. The snorkels, flippers and wet suits were provided. There were enough wetsuits to go around for us to even double up which was great, as the water was cold enough. The lunch and snacks provided were very good and filling. There was even hot drinks, like coffee and tea. During the snorkel, we saw lots of beautiful marine life, from parrot fish, to lots of white tip sharks, a good few sea turtles and sealions. We even got to see an eagle sting ray, which our guide told us was rare. We snorkeled in two places, off Pinzon and Le Fa. First part of the snorkel was 1:30hr and the other was 45 mins. We found this to be plenty of time in the water. The boat ride out was 1hr and 45mins. Getting in and out takes up most of the time on the tour, but you get to see beautiful views of Santa Cruz island on the boat journey out. Overall, very good value for money.

This tour was so much fun! We saw huge tortoises, a seal swam by, some white tipped reef sharks, sting rays...just a lot of cool stuff. They caught a yellow fin tuna for lunch and cooked it while we were snorkeling. The water was COLD! Thank goodness they provided wet suits! Highly recommend!

It was very organized, the snorkeling locations were amazing. Saw a lot of fish, turtles, and a few reef sharks! The guide was very informative. Lunch and the snacks were tasty. The crew was friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve dived with multiple companies, but this one stands out. They took the time to explain everything, ensured everyone was comfortable, and provided an amazing experience underwater. The marine life was stunning, and our guide pointed out so many hidden gems. Would dive with them again in a heartbeat!

I saw many fishes turtles and shark. The guide is kind and powerful. The ship is quite good. Oh! we saw some manta ray there!

Snorkeling equipment was great and most importantly the guide knew where the find the animals. Snacks/food & drinks were yummy. Seas were rough the day we went, with big swells so made for a long ride home ( 1.5hrs?). We spent a lot of time snorkeling, so the fishing got cut short and we did not catch anything.

I can’t say enough good things about this trip! Firstly the wildlife we got to see were better than we even expected and the turtles and rays in particular provided us with the most incredible experience. The guide was great and clearly took us to the best spots and I was really impressed with the equipment that we were provided with

The highlight of our trip to Galapagos and one I would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting, regardless of how long they are there. The wildlife we saw was exactly what we pictured and had always dreamt of and this was the best way to experience it. Also very high quality equipment onboard which seemed new and in good condition

Check Viator for my in-depth review of this tour and company. We were both physically injured by this tour due to the severe conditions of the water. This boat should have never left the port. I understand no one can control the weather, but it’s a captains (and therefore this companies) responsibility never to put their passengers in danger. I have been suffering from severe neck and low back pain since the tour. Stay away from this company, the boat “contagious” and the guide Luis.

Let me start by saying I almost never leave a negative review. However this tour was unsafe and physically painful. The boat ride was the equivalent of 3 hours of severe turbulence. My neck and back are still in pain 12 hours later, it hurts to stand and turn my neck. The boat nearly capsized twice. There was no fishing because you could not stand up on the boat. I understand that the tour operator cannot control the weather, but it’s their responsibility to cancel tours when guests will be put in danger. The snorkeling was a waste of time seeing a few things that could be seen in any tropical area. No sharks. We had to swim hundreds of yards to the boat that kept moving away from us as the crew laughed. Our guide only spoke mumbly Spanglish and seemed the find the guests discomfort comical. The beach was the only good thing about this tour, but we nearly hit another boat and wrapped their anchor line around one of our propellers. I will be contacting local officials to lodge a formal complaint against this company as well. Avoid the boat “Contagious” and the guide Luis.

The meeting point at Hotel Ninfa was very easy and centrally located. Just a short walk to meet the boat and we were on our way. There were 10 people on our boat and didn’t feel cramped. The first stop to snorkel was about a 30 minute ride to the west side of Santa Cruise where the captain skillfully got us close to shore between the wave breaks. The masks and fins are provided but the water is very cold in June if you dont have a wet suit. The wildlife was abundant including many fish and several turtles. We got back on the boat and they had snacks and drinks waiting on the table. We departed for Isla Pinzon which was about an hour for the second stop. We arrived to nesting blue footed boobys on the clifside which was incredible! The water was a little colder here but there were more fish, turtles, sharks and sea lions! After the swim, lunch was provided and we headed back toward Puerto Ayora, stopping to fish for some tuna!

It started off a bit rocky. The guide didn't have the list and the boat wasn't prepared. We were delayed about 1.5 hours because of this. But when we got out on the water everything was great! The crew was phenomenal and the guide paid attention to everyone equally in different languages. We were fortunate to see so much wildlife on our trip. We were told it wasn't like that yesterday but that's any snorkel cruise in the world. They give you a chance to see it, never promise.

Absolutely amazing! I have been snorkeling before, and was a bit apprehensive to do this as I didn't really enjoy previous snorkeling experiences. I thought, while in the Galapagos, better to snorkel than not, and I am so glad I did. The boat crew, and our host/tour guide were incredibly charming, charismatic and genuine. You could tell they were experts and cared about us having a good, memorable time. On the snorkel tour to Pinzon, we saw 3 different types of sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, and of course, lots of fish. On the way back, we did some fishing and reeled in a HUGE Wahu. Overall, worth it. Do not miss this if you like snorkeling.

Excellent experince to sail around and snorkle in the seas of Galapagos. It is a very professional company that makes things work smoth and nice.

We loved this tour! The snorkeling was truly amazing. Jimmy was a fun and knowledgeable guide. For a little bit of additional money, he provided some extra attention of filming you with the sea life, which was totally worth it.

This was such a great tour! The boat captain and staff were so kind and attentive. The boat captain who also served as the snorkeling leader was very helpful - it was our first time snorkeling. We saw turtles, sharks, seals and blue finned boobies. They took care of my husband when he got boat sick. They provided lunch, coffee, tea and water. We’d book this tour again.

We had a wonderful time with Ricardo and the rest of the crew. Ricardo was very attentive to all guests ensuring that we all got to see the Sea Turtles, Seals, Tropical Fish, Iguanas and Sharks. We saw so many turtles eating the algae off the rocks and the Seal was so playful and stayed with us for almost the entire time.

All-inclusive snorkeling experience. Once we boarded the boat, our feet didn't touch the ground. Everything was taken care of. Much better than piecing together your own excursion which is pay-as-you-go. Boat was better, guides were better and saw us through till we were back on the dock. Definitely worth it!!

The tour guide felt as if he was rushing through everything. This couldn’t be helped — but we didn’t see anything except fish and a turtle in the distance during the time we went. The fishing portion of the experience didn’t yield much, and the crew did not even suggest to put on bait, only a lure. One positive is that the boat ride is more pleasant than the other water ferries we took to other places. The Galápagos Islands were surprisingly very touristic and not a nature oriented experience. When you get a great experience the experiences tend to be fantastic though! YMMV depending on the excursion and who your tour guide was. It felt like “just another day of work” to us.

Had a great day trip to Pinzon from puerto ayora . Nice comfortable boat. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed snorkeling at Pinzon, was lovely snorkeling with all the marine animals that roam this pristine ocean. Lovely lunch included, Would highly recommend

Gratifying experience and first time ever in beautiful Ecuador! One of the most epic trips we’ve ever had! Ricardo was a great guide and was so accommodating to our daughter who was scared at first to snorkel. We saw a stingray, schools of colorful, tropical fish, a shark, and sea lions! We also enjoyed a delicious tuna, rice, and veggie lunch and lots of snacks and drinks in between snorkeling. We caught a mahi mahi and a tuna on our way back! Unfortunately, we all got a bit seasick but it was worth the amazing things we got to see and do!

The trip overall was fantastic! We had such a great time and we saw all sorts of animals! Turtles, so many sharks and marine iguanas. It was truly special and the service was fantastic!

This was one of the best snorkeling tours we did in the Galapagos! We saw so many marine animals. We swam with huge turtles, saw more fish than I could ever imagine, got to see an iguana feeding under the water! And a bunch of sea lions (Moms, babies and one big protective alpha male) along the rocks swimming in and out of the water. We also saw black and white tip sharks. The tour was the perfect length and if we ever go back, we'll definitely do this tour again.

Good visibility at one of the snorkel spots. Felt like our guide went too close to the sea lions to the point of bothering them, was also food poisoned that evening, and wonder if it was the ceviche on the boat.

This tour is an absolute must in Galapagos, we went to many tours during our stay and this was the best by far. We saw so many different animals like we have never seen anywhere else. The water was a bit cold so definitely take a wetsuit with you or you can rent it on the boat as well.

Edgar our tour guide was amazing. He looked after me so well as I couldn’t swim and made sure I didn’t miss anything while still looking after the rest of the group: this was one of the best days of our lives, swimming with sharks turtles iguanas and sea lions. Memorable day.

I was very excited to be part of this snorkeling tour, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. First of all, the departure was not on schedule, which gave the impression of disorganization from the beginning. Once in the water, I would have liked to take the time to observe the fish, corals and underwater landscapes quietly, but this was not possible. The guide constantly urged us to go from one point to another, without letting us really enjoy the moment. This has made hasty exploration almost forced, when this type of activity should invite contemplation. Moreover, the attitude of the guide did not promote a relaxed Mood: he was visibly stressed, unwarm, and gave his instructions in a rather abrupt, almost military manner. The boat’s crew members were in the same mood: unsmiling, uncommunicative, which affected the overall Mood. Another major disappointment was that the announced programme was not respected. It was planned to visit two islands, but we only saw one. Also, the return was supposed to be at 6pm, but we returned at 3pm, without any explanation. Having said that, I would like to highlight two positive points: the equipment provided was of good quality, well maintained, which is always reassuring for this type of activity. The meal served on board was also very good, which brought some comfort in a day overall half-hearted. In short, this snorkeling trip could have been a great experience, but it suffered from a lack of organization, too tense Mood and a program not respected. Too bad, because the natural setting was beautiful.

Freundliches Personal. Sie haben immer darauf geachtet dass es allen gut geht. Bei den Ausflügen haben wir viel gesehen und am Ende wurde noch geangelt. War ein echt toller Ausflug! Beim Schnorcheln wurde auch immer darauf geachtet dass alle mitkommen und dementsprechend alle Spaß haben konnten.
