We had a lovely stay at Cucuve and would highly recommend if staying in the Galapagos. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked great and the room was lovely with a nice view and balcony with hammock. It gets a bit steamy in the bathroom but it was not an issue at all. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We were able to rent snorkels and they have beach towels to use. Excellent filtered water available as well. The location in town is excellent.
This is a great hotel in the city! The rooms and bathrooms especially are luxury compared all the other businesses in the area. The room is AC but your bathroom is open air FYI. It’s right in the heart of the city and within half a mile of every major business. The staff is friendly and bilingual, a big plus. The breakfast is amazing for only one chef making all the dishes for you. They start at 6am making breakfast which is in their common dining area upstairs. The beds are firm, which I loved, firmer than any hotel bed I’ve ever stayed in. Actually, very close to my bed at home, this was a welcomed plus. There are no elevators and the rooms start on the 2nd floor as well as the 3rd floor. BRING CASH, USD!! The hotel obviously takes card and some other businesses do too but much of the island relies on cash transactions. This hotel was a great luxury choice that doesn’t break the bank. I would absolutely stay here again, and hopefully I will!
We had a comfortable stay. Our room was spacious, clean, well designed with AC not facing directly the bed, with a extra fan, the bathroom had a window ideal to ventilate. Internet was not really working in the room. The breakfast was ok and quite diverse but not exceptional. The box for very early breakfast was too focus on sweets. The stuff is friendly and professional. The corridor is quite noisy and could disrupt sometimes the rooms. The access to the surrounding bars and restaurants is easy and walkable distance.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cucuve. The service was exceptional, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the warm attitude and professionalism of the team. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!
And nice hotel located in Puerto Ayora. The rooms were very comfortable, and VERY clean. We would like though if there was a balcony so we could dry our swimming suites. Everything you need is near the hotel: restaurants, bars, travel agencies. The breakfast was also very good. Most importantly Ana the hotel manager was there to help any request to we had, and we thank her for this.
