Private Tour To Neuschwanstein Castle From Munich

This was a very enjoyable day trip. Julia was a fantastic guide snd driver. The schedule was very well planned out. We really enjoyed each leg of the trip and felt as though we had enough time at each one. The Neuschwanstein castle was our favorite. Julia did a great job of prepping us for how the tour of the castle would unfold. She also gave us an interesting history lesson on Ludwig II prior to the tour. The staff at the castle does an excellent job of running the tours and keeping it organized. The castle is very impressive especially for its time. The throne room was magnificent. No pictures allowed. After our tour of the castle, we stopped at Oberammergau for lunch and then had some time to walk around the quaint town. Our last stop was the Ettal abbey. It was a short visit, but that’s all that was needed. We started the day at 8:30 am and were back at our hotel before 5 pm.

It’s very convenient and relaxing to be on a private tour. David Wolf was very knowledgeable, naturally joyful and made us very comfortable! We were never tired.

As a solo traveler I felt completely safe and taken care of during my 1 day tour around the Bavarian Alps and surrounding castles! Lucas was very knowledgeable of the history and stories of each area. He knew great spots for photography and even made a little pitstop at a waterfall because I mentioned how much I love waterfalls in passing.

This is a long day with a lot of car time, but David gave us a lot of information about Ludwig that helped us get ready for the Castle.

What a fabulous day exploring the Bavarian countryside with stops @ Neuschwanstein, Oberammergau & Ettal Abbey 🙌 We are a family of 6 & Lucas picked us up in a beautiful, very comfortable Mercedes van. He took such great care of us! Along the way, he shared insights about the areas that we were driving through and had so much knowledge about every stop, making our day extra special. We had an amazing experience with our driver, Spendi. He was knowledgable and personable. I have an old knee injury that could have made this trip very difficult but Spendi always took breaks when I needed and never made me feel rushed. I learned so much on this trip. My husband and I were able to connect with another member of the team who helped us create a custom overnight trip in Prague. I cannot wait to work with this company again on my next trip to Europe. Wonderful experience. Great to be able to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Super easy to get to the castle via shuttle after getting to the destination. Tour guide Shpendi was great got us there safely and was great with stories and history of our stopping points.

We had a wonderful day with our guide “the Bavarian Professor”. The information was well delivered and pitched at the right level For both adults and the children in our group. We were given good suggestions and the time allowed was just right for our needs. The transport was clean and tidy. The information on the tour description was correct. Communication pre and post tour was great. The tour is very expensive but this did include tickets and door to door personal experience.

Spende, our guide, was very knowledgeable and he joked around with my family which I enjoyed. After the Neuschwanstein castle, he took us to Plansee lake in Austria and after we went to an old germantown called Oberammergauer which was known for its cuckoo clocks and ornaments. There we had an awesome lunch followed by some yummy ice cream. The local ice cream shop owner knew him well and we could tell he was well liked. Our final destination was the Ettal monastery where we stopped for some cheese which was delicious and is made by the monks living there. The conversation with him went very smoothly. He was very personable and even went out of his way to find a souvenir shop where my daughter could buy her boyfriend a t-shirt. When our family was getting tired and ready to go to the next stop, he reminded us what stores and items we may be missing. We ended up finding a cute ornanent for our Christmas tree along with a special token for our daughter. Spende A++(Love the new hat ;)

Wow wow wow Lucas was amazing and Day with him was just absolute blast. He knows also the things you can’t find in Google. The day was pleasant from the start to the end. Definitely worth it. Except the great overview of the history we get, We had really enjoyed every moment. He is great example of how smooth tour to unknown place should works! You know exactly what will come, where You go, where to shopping, what is the time plan, where is the bathroom plus all the suggestions to have good food and many more hints that were useful later on following trips around Europe! The door to door service was amazing. I also really liked the guaranteed entrance to the castle (I didn’t have time to plan and worry). Our driver was so knowledgeable and friendly. I instantly felt safe and in good hands. It was me and my 11 year old daughter and I didn’t even blink an eye. I personally appreciated his good driving. Of course he spoke just about perfect English which was very helpful. We had one day to spend as tourist and this was the perfect day for us.
