The location is the best bit about this hotel as it is so central but other than that it’s very out dated. We booked 2 rooms as we have a family of 5. At time of booking 6months ago we asked for adjoining rooms. When we got there they said they couldn’t do this and so we were on the same level but at either ends of the hotel, which meant I my husband and I had to split between the rooms with the children when we all wanted to be together. Decor is minimal and rooms look tired. Electric sockets were hanging off and some did t work at all. No aircon so the rooms are so hot. Have to keep the windows open but then it is really noisy outside as on the main road. We only had breakfast the first morning and decided to go elsewhere the other 2 mornings. Huge queues for the waffle maker, eggs were runny with shell in them, the porridge tasted burnt but at the same time not even cooked properly which is a talent in itself! I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but this really was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in and was so disappointing as it did affect my overall stay. T There are many other lovely hotels in the area so do your research and stay there. Avoid this hotel!

We had a great stay at Luitpoldpark Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Although there was no air conditioning, so it was a little warm during the night, everything else was excellent. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—the best breakfast we’ve had after traveling through four European countries! There was a huge variety of delicious food. The beer at the hotel was also reasonably priced. One funny cultural surprise: on our first day in Germany, we happened to see someone walking around the spa without clothes. It was definitely a shock for us, but we understand that this is part of German sauna culture, so we just smiled and accepted it as an unforgettable first-day experience in Germany. 🇩🇪 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for a night to explore the castle. Check in was efficient and the receptionist was friendly and offered us a complimentary ticket for public transportation, which was appreciated. The room felt sadly very outdated and had private empty bottles from previous guests in the bedside tables, along with hair in the sheets that weren’t ours. We also had the shower handle falling onto my husband while showering, as the holder isn’t properly mounted to the wall. All matters were informed to reception staff, but unfortunately neither was acted upon, even though we informed we would be out for several hours. Internet reached sadly less than half of the room and when we repeatedly informed the front desk staff, a very kind and helpful man tried his best, came to our room and tried to assist us, as we had important online meetings to do, but sadly wasn’t able to fix it. He did kindly invite us to do our calls in the reception and/or bar with a drink on the house, but that sadly wasn’t an option for us given the nature of the business meetings we had to attend. We did inform him, that it would be nice to have known this when we informed the staff right after check in about it, as we could have then moved to another room. We had booked a deluxe room and would have been willing to downgrade, as long as we had working Internet in our room. He furthermore informed us that the hotel would be fully renovated in Autumn only and then internet cables should be fixed properly. Breakfast was basic; the lady that was meant to great the guests was rather rude and made us feel almost as if we were disturbing. If we were to come again to Füssen, we would not stay in this hotel, as the price in comparison to other places and hotels in Germany and Switzerland in no way justified what was received.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is clean and spacious, the location is central (just a 2-mins walk from the train station), the facilities are great too (with sauna and gym). Very nice breakfast with various choices. However the German female staff is a bit rude and unfriendly but the rest is helpful. Also I thought the room was a bit cold with small heating but in the end it was warm when I turned on the heating. I wish the check-out time was on 12pm instead of 11am.
We had 2 rooms. Our friends were not happy because the (double) bed was actually 2 single beds close together. And the beds moved through the night. Our bed was also made of two single beds put together but we didn't have a problem with it. The breakfast was really good, very diverse and high quality. For me, a good coffee sets the tone and the standard of the breakfast. It was good 👍. The wellness area was also nice and brought an extra touch. I would return.
