Hotel Franks was awesome! Our family of four spent three nights there and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The breakfast was fabulous with so much to choose from and the chef made incredible Omelettes. The location of the hotel could not have been better. It is within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the city center. The hiking in the area was great and the views were beautiful. We highly recommend this place to families or couples looking for a great place to get away.
A five-star gem at the foot of the Alps
It was my first time in Germany and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Franks. The owner and staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The facilities are spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the food was superb—every meal felt like a treat. It’s a true treasure sitting at the base of the Alps: a five-star experience with a homely, intimate feel. If you’re visiting Germany, add Hotel Franks to your bucket list. Highly recommended.
The hotel is so beautiful! The location is perfect and the staff are so friendly. Our room was large and spacious and the bathroom even bigger! Sigrid our head waitress was exceptional making us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Oberstdorf!
We were there for a retreat of about 25 people and we were spoilt rotten. The owners were involved with all hikes with them, asking if there was anything we required, were we happy and recommending all the community to go to. The spas were very special and modern, roomy and tons of relaxation areas. A true delight and very much a boutique hotel
From the breathtaking views to the kind and hospitable staff - this hotel was absolutely amazing. Every interaction is well curated and the rooms are so beautiful and comfortable. Also the food and fine dining was delicious and every meal was a treat.
