This was a deal booking and such a lovely surprise. The hotel staff and the owners were so friendly and helpful (make sure to go on the tour provided by the owners to learn a bit about the hotel and peak behind the scenes). We wanted to have a spa getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The spa and wellness area were accommodating all of our expectations. Indoor and outdoor saunas and pool options, as well as two relax areas spread out all the guests enough that we had a good time anywhere we went. But the highlight was the breakfast. It offered anything you could wish for. Making use of their partner restaurants/huts we hiked up there for lunch (be aware it’s not an easy one, so come prepared if it’s icy). It was well worth it, but exhausting if you are not hiking on a daily basis.

I loved it all. The food, free bike rental, free parking, the cows and scenery, the spa area, the cleanliness and care for the whole property, and the water fountain in the room. Lots of spa options! I got the package with food included and the meals were excellent! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to go to the Neuschwanstein castle area. Come for the castle, stay for this hotel!
