Das Freiberg

This hotel is awesome. Wonderful! Perfect! We will be back soon. And not just once.

The Freiberg is something truly extraordinary in my eyes. Rather unassuming from the outside, it caught my attention on the way to my girlfriend's room. There was art hanging there. The room was large with a correspondingly spacious balcony. And here, too, I was amazed. I can't recall ever seeing anything like it in a hotel before. The design is, so to speak, handmade, meaning completely unique. Modern, tasteful, and artistic. Beautiful. On the way to dinner, I had to stop. Small rooms that practically shouted: Come in, sit down, enjoy life. Overflowing with art, both commissioned and hung. And at first glance, nothing seemed to match, yet everything had its place and created a magnificent whole. I was thrilled. We ate at Maxi, thankfully in the garden given the temperatures. It had been so hot all day that we decided to limit ourselves to one main course: the pike-perch and the Wiener Schnitzel. Both were absolutely delicious. The incredibly friendly and attentive server then persuaded us to order dessert. Thank goodness. Because the basil ice cream was fantastic. The breakfast was also absolutely commendable. Highly recommended.

Amazing Stay.. They were so accommodating when we arrived as we had a ski lesson booked. Got a room ready as soon as they could so we could check in before the lesson. Amazing food and the staff were exceptional. Rooms and the hotel itself was beautiful and the sauna and pool Amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you want a fantastic experience.

One of the best Hotel experiences I have had so far! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is the perfect start for hiking trips or simply to relax in the wellness area/pool. I can highly recommend a stay and really want to thank the whole team for making our stay so worthwile evem though we were superunlucky with the weather…
