We had an awesome drive uphill and saw several highlights. The pools by the coast were closed unfortunately due to rough seas, but we got to swim at a black beach! Our guide Jose was cool, and he told us everything we wanted to know about Madeira.
This was so much fun! Our guide Octavio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful day! The off roading was a lot of fun and the view from the top was spectacular. What a beautiful island!
We had the best time. Our driver was entertaining & shared lots of information about the areas we visited. We saw parts of the island we never would have found by ourselves. This trip is highly recommended & great value for money.
This was a wonderful tour. Jorge was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this island and its heritage. We felt extremely safe 4 wheeling through the mountains and the entire trip was such a joy. I cannot say enough good things about Jorge, so if you get a chance, I'd request him. This was our favorite part of our entire vacation. Thank you Jorge for such a wonderful experience!!! 100 stars from us. Great tour of parts of the Island that we would not have been able to access easily ourselves. We were taken to some amazing scenery and two amazing places for swimming surrounded by volcanic rock formations. Both places were amazing for swimming especially when you see all the fishes. Our guide Louie was brilliant taking us to some amazing sites. The 4WD was essential in accessing some of the most beautiful views of the island. There was sufficient time to explore each place as well as grab some delicious lunch near the first swimming stop. Highly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed our tour, driving up into the mountains, above the clouds. Spectacular views, driving off roads was great fun.Loved swimming in the lava pools. Our guide Jacinta was great, very knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed this tour and it was convenient with drop-off and pick-up, the pacing and sights we visited. It was not too information heavy, but focused on the scenery, and gave participants time to explore each place, eat where they want, swim or not. Our guide, Luis Castro, was warm, accommodating, great at driving off-road and spoke German fluently! This was well-priced, convenient and permitted us to see several beautiful spots in one day while skipping the planning and driving!!
We loved our jeep tour and Dino, our guide and driver, was spectacular, he was tireless, both in his conversations and explanations and the passion he has for his land and what he does, despite the weather not being the best and unfortunately we had a very unfriendly couple who from the beginning complained about everything from their seats, like the weather itself, for them everything was an excuse to complain, they should have stayed on the boat. But Dino had a lot of patience and politeness and proved to be a true professional. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a good time on adventure and get to know the island of Madeira.
Marcio was the best tour guide--so easy going with a great sense of humor. The experience of going offroad where no rental car can go was amazing.

We went through small forest paths where our guide gave us a lot of details about the plants, trees, flowers, and crops. It was very enriching and interesting. However, we did not do the excursion in its entirety; two visit points were not done, and as a result, we finished the day very early, at 4 p.m. Too bad, very too bad
Lots of sightings, nice driver, Jose. Knew a lot to tell and drove safely. Gave us plenty of time. Because of a miscommunication, I was late. Jose drove up to me and dropped me off there, even though that place was not agreed.
This excursion is really a must-do; we were able to discover another part of the island. I recommend it 100%. Our guide spoke French, so that's a plus.
Ameeeeei the walk! For the first time and alone in Funchal, in July/2023, I made a tour with the Green Devil Safari and liked it so much that I booked another. Friendly guides and prepared (thank you, Lino!), amazing places! When I return to Madeira, I will definitely schedule new tours.
Um dia expectacular com um guia dos mais simpaticos. Paisagens maravilhosas, um almoço muito bom e descoberta inédita em 4X4 desta ilha tao bonita. Uma boa lembrança.
Dienstagabend haben wir eine ganztägige 4*4 Jeep nordwest-tour für Mittwoch (05.12.) morgens gebucht. Von der Buchungsabwicklung bis hin zur pünktlichen Abholung in Calheta, war alles top. Unser ortskundiger tourist-guide Nonu, hat uns bestens versorgt. Zudem war er sympathisch, locker und sprach perfektes englisch neben vier weiteren Sprachen. Die sichere dennoch abenteuerliche Fahrweise hat seine Aussage, begeisterter offroad-Fahrer zu sein, eindeutig untermauert. Die Fahrt war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, erst Recht als das Dach des Jeeps geöffnet wurde um uns eine bessere Aussicht auf den UNESCO geschützten Wald sowie die facettenreiche Pflanzen-Vielfalt und Täler zu ermöglichen. Wir haben keinen Moment das Gefühl von Langeweile oder Zeitdruck verspürt, er hat uns nicht nur mit kurzen Infos “abgespeist“ sondern uns unterhalten und die Spannung auf die Kultur und Geschichte der besuchten Ortschaften aufrecht erhalten. Der ganze Tag war purer Spaß! Später haben wir einen landestypischen Snack in einem kleinen heimischen Bistro mit Blick auf die Natur-Pools probiert der sehr schmackhaft war, der Cappuccino ist dort übrigens auch sehr gut und wird vom Besitzer persönlich serviert... weiter ging es mit einer Besichtigung der Wasserfälle wovon viele auf der ganzen Insel verteilt sind, zum Abschluss haben wir an einer kleinen Bar halt gemacht wo uns die nette Barkeeperin einen fruchtigen “Poncha“ gemixt hat, bevor wir zum Hotel zurück gefahren sind. Unsere Erwartungen wurden eindeutig übertroffen! Obrigado NoNu 😁
