We had the best time; a super knowledgeable but relaxed guide who brought a lot of fun. Great wines, great views. Absolutely worth the cost and a good lunch stop too. Never too rushed, and a small group made it feel very personal throughout. Thank you!

We did the 4x4 jeep safari with tour guide David who was informative, knowledgeable and fun. The views were outstanding, definitely recommend.

Whilst no off roading, the smaller roads were steep and rough, can be challenging in a Land Rover for some.

Awful, they didn’t turn up and when eventually got through to company they said they had cancelled it as a bit of road is closed and told trip advisor. No one informed us. Wasted the morning of our holiday to to resolve

Best tour by far! Diogo Camacho our tour guide was an absolute rock star. Weather was semi cooperating so we weren’t able to get to all our stops but Diogo made sure we didn’t miss out on anything. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

Lots of riding in a cramped 4x4 Land Rover (maybe 2/3 of the total time spent). Skywalk was a snooze:10-15 minute stop to walk out 50 yards to a platform slightly over the cliff and take photos. Cost=3euros pp. There are few things to do on the island beyond look at volcanic structures and, while driving around the island and visiting wineries. Plus, lunch on your own after paying $100 US pp. was another 50 euros.

The 4x4 wine tasting was great fun and took in some very narrow and muddy roads as well as the old mountain roads. The views were fantastic, and the tours around the wineries and the wine tasting itself was excellent. Highly recommended.

From start to finish this was a fantastic tour made even better by Joao our driver/guide and the other passengers in the jeep. The tour included a variety of experiences including wine tasting, stunning views and the roof being removed and standing while being driven around narrow roads by Joao. If you do one trip while on Madeira, do this one. Thank you Joao and our lovely fellow passengers for a day not to be forgotten.

Very fun day with a very good tour guide! Unfortunately the madeira wine was not avaliable to try but the guide showed us some other cool places instead.

A fantastic tour from start to finish. Romero was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable guide. Our first stop in the morning was for an authentic freshly made poncho. We then had a brilliant off road experience on route to our first wine tasting. We sampled 6 different wines with some nibbles in a spectacular location. Lunch, while not included in the tour price was truly exceptional, with more wine being sampled. Throughout the day Romero was flexible and made some ad hoc stops for photo opportunities or to explain something for us. There were only two couple on the tour which felt quite special, and we would thoroughly recommend this tour.

We (group of 6 old friends) booked this tour for our first day in Madeira and it could not have been a better start to our holiday! We loved the places we visited and we especially loved Diogo, our fantastic guide, who fed us lots of interesting facts and joined in on all the laughter and fun of the day. And who wouldn't love a chance to stand up in a jeep with the top down, exploring the gorgeous scenery of Madeira. Thank you Diogo for a fantastic day!

Exhilarating and educational exploration of part of the island, with amazing wines and Madeira wines to sample. A must for people who want to mix sightseeing and wine tasting. Gil is an amazing driver, entertaining host and has a great knowledge of the interesting local flora and fauna.

Our group of 6 friends spent the day torturing Sao Vicente via jeep with Diogo, our fabulous tour guide. This is a MUST DO tour. We had the top down in our 4x4 jeep to off-road in the mountainous northern part of the island, stopped for local honey on a farm, wine tasting at a beautiful, terraced vineyard, the spectacular Cabo Girao, Madeira in town at an historic producer. Diogo went above and beyond to make this day special for us, he kept us laughing, made stops for us to grab coffees and restrooms. We had the very best time and we unanimously agreed that the value for this trip was exceptional. Don’t think twice, sign up for this trip without a doubt, and be sure to request Diogo!

We had a wonderful day out on this tour. Our driver Diogo Camacho took us from one side of Madeira to the other, stopping at great places for views and photos. We went off piste for a while, which I wasn’t expecting which added a little excitement to the trip. We visited a honey museum and two wineries as well as the sky walk. What a great day out with very enjoyable company with our fellow travellers.

This trip was beyond value for money. Rui our tour guide had so much knowledge to share through the day. When one of our stops were unavailable, he was able to source a plan b promptly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic day seeing the central mountainous area of Madeira and experiencing the thrills of an off-road 4x4 steep hill drive! Our guide Diogo C was so friendly and fun and made it a brilliant trip. He is one hell of a driver! The views are spectacular, like being in Jurassic Park. There was even a little stop at the tiny honey museum perched atop the mountains with the chance to sample delicious local honey. The winery tour was interesting and both tasting destinations gave us a real flavour of Madeira wine. We were lucky to have a chatty, interesting group and the lunch we shared overlooking Seixal coast was delicious. Highly recommend this particular tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

What a fun day with a great group of people! Our guide Gil has been fantastic - so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Madeira and the wines were delicious! The 4x4 experience was exhilarating and very Jurassic park-esque! Would really recommend this experience to all!

Wonderful trip and our favourite of our holiday. Booked through TUI experiences. Gil was great and we loved that he took the time to explain things and the ecology and about the history of Madeira as we drove along. The day was very busy but at the same time did not feel rushed at all.

Our guide Andre was very knowledgeable and did a great job driving the 4x4 vehicle through off-road and narrow passages. Interesting vineyard visits especially the first one which provided a tour around the vineyard and explanation about the winemaking process and great tastings paired with finger food. This trip is a must if you want fantastic sights and off road experience. Our driver Diogo proved knowledgeable and had good humour making our small group get to know each other and have fun The activities were well planned and the lunch was recommended and excellent although not included in the booking

The trip was super surprising, way more than a wine tour. The offroad tour was a big surprise, but we enjoyed it a lot! Diogo was our tourguide and he had a lot to explain and kept it fun with his jokes! I recommend this tour!

The offroad, the beautiful destination of the first wine tasting and very funny driver called Tony made this experience one of the best we've ever had. We were 4 boys in a car with 2 solo travelers, having a blast. We got more wine than we were able to drink I think this is a perfect choice for solo travelers, groups both of relaxing or adventures members

A great combo of fun off road adventure and wine tasting/ vineyard tour with a knowledgeable guide who gave many insights into the history and culture of the island and includes tastings at a winery of normal table wines as well as Madeira fortified wine.

We did the 4 x 4 off-road Jeep Trip with the Skywalk, Honey museum and Wine tasting. It was a good, exciting excursion. The guide, Julia, was informative and a wonderful driver! Unfortunately, the Honey Museum was closed, but we got to see the amazing views before going on to the Vineyard. The wines were delicious. Highly recommended for those who enjoy bumpy off-road tours and who are not afraid of heights! 😄

Amazing tour and tour guide, Gil. Great stops and great views. Gil had amazing knowledge of the area and knew the best shortcuts all around the island. Would definitely recommend. The wine tasting was just an added bonus. Great way to explore the local villages of the island and learn about the local agriculture. Fun day out and definitely worth it.

Great day out with guide Diego C, who gave us lots of information about the island and its flora and fauna. Lovely stop at vineyard with great views. Lunch stop, good choice of food and then on to skywalk, which was smaller than expected 2 euros to walk on it. Final stop at Madeira wine producers, not my thing but good to try. The off road drive was great fun.

The island is beautiful and the local family businesses we visited gave us the opportunity to learn how they have adapted the surroundings to produce wonderful food and wine. We stopped for lunch which was excellent. Then on to soak up more views and wine. Great day

The whole experience was memorable. Our guide Diogo was great fun and new all the shortcuts! He went out of his way to accommodate our wish to leave a memorial tribute, which was very good of him. Both tastings, and the honey museum were great. The lunch was good, but be hungry, the portions were enormous! Highly recommended.

Fabulous trip - Rui was an excellent driver & guide who immediately put me at ease as a solo traveler. The views as we traveled were amazing & it was great fun to be able to stand up in the Land Rover with the top open for the off road parts of the journey. The vineyard tour was the highlight providing good insight into how the vines are managed & the tasting was generous! Really enjoyed meeting the other guests & it was lovely to have a chance to get to know them all better over lunch. I would highly recommend this trip as it combines so much into 1 day

What a fantastic trip we had.(07.09.23) Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, and we felt really safe He(sorry forgot your name)made the off road part really exciting and was so passionate about the island.Tasted some lovely wines and snacks, and had an informative tour of the vineyard. Had a lovely meal, very reasonable, huge portions, and overlooking the waves crashing on the beach.A beautiful day with a lovely group of people.Would definitely recommended .
