Porto Moniz, Seixal, Fanal Forest, Cliff Skywalk In Open Roof 4x4

8 people in the jeep is quite a squeeze, especially if you have long legs and your knees don’t like being in one position for a long time. Take a jacket as it can get cold in the mountains, especially if open top. Lunch was varied and excellent. The sky walk was crowded and a little disappointing but great if you like a view. Seixal was just a beach and not worth a stop imho. The guide is great but you can’t hear him in the back but the beat part was the off road down the hill. Brilliant fun!

Fabulous tour.. Graham was an excellent driver who was very knowledgeable and extremely efficient in driving off road 😂 We met some lovely people and would definitely recommend it.

Great experience! This was a very complete tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Severino was amazing! He took us to very cool spots and gave us a lot of information. Funchal is a beautiful island that I would definitely go back to visit again.

This outfit is a total scam. I waited at the well-defined meeting point for more than an hour, and the guide never showed up. My phone calls to the host were ignored. This is a company that promotes fraud. No one should book this.

We didn’t really know what to expect but everything came as advertised: a jeep, a great guide (we had a blast, Miguel!), enough time to see all the places and a team of friendly fellow travelers that joined us on the trip. Buckle up, you might be in for quite the ride.

We had a great time. The driver was very knowledgeable about the island and sites we were seeing. He gave us a great off road experience. It’s an interesting way of exploring the island. Highly recommended

We did the full day west tour with our guide Tony, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and had a good laugh with. It was a great way to see the island in a day and would definitely recommend doing.

Great tour Robert was an excellent guide well with the trip

We had such a fantastic day exploring Madeira on this 4x4 tour! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we loved getting to see so many different parts of the island. We experienced just about every climate Madeira has to offer in one day! We did get rained on, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. I would definitely recommend bringing a raincoat because the weather can change quickly. Such a fun and memorable day, and a wonderful way to see the island. Highly recommend!

Really great trip. Was taken to several different beautiful locations with plenty of time at each stop. We especially enjoyed the enchanting clouds and Forrest and swimming in the volcanic pools. Xx

One of the best tours I've ever been on. It was a fantastic time to see the Island in all it's beauty. Graham, our driver, was a complete professional - he was brilliant and my thanks to him and to Catarina who was organised and gave great communication. I would book with true spirit again.

We did the full day tour to Porto Moniz with Miguel and it was amazing! You get to experience so many different landscapes and microclimates in Madeira: evergreen forest, black sand beach, lava pools, cabo girão view point and off road action! Unmissable if you come to Madeira!

Wear layers and bring a rain coat/umbrella. Also suggest bringing a small towel to dry off after swimming.

Small group of people. Very friendly environment. It was honestly an incredible experience. Our tour guide Diego was the best. Gave us great recommendations about our plan to tour the island the following day. Included spots to eat, best view points, hikes, and additional entertainment.

Great way to see many of the island's highlights in one go. The Porto Moniz pools were the stand-out stop-off point for me; as good if not better than the Blue Lagoon in Iceand. Stunning. Cheap. Great facilities. And our brilliant and lovely guide Diago booked a great restaurant for us to have lunch in afterwards. Have the black scabbard!! The sky walk is underwhelming in my opinion, but, heh, I crossed it off anyway as part of this trip. The Fenal forest is so pleasant. I grew up on a farm in Ireland and it reminded me of times spent up the fields there during the summers. The real joy of this trip came from our guide Diago and his fun, intelligent attitude. Do it!!

Great trip. Lots to see. Great fun in the open top 4x4 with amazing views. The sea was wild at Porto Moniz and the man made pools were closed but the natural pools were open, although very slippy getting in and out, but well worth it. Take some sea shoes. Only downside was we couldn’t hear our driver as with the roof down it’s so noisy, could do with an audio system so we could hear his commentary. Very good day out. Great guide. Would recommend.

This was by far the best excursion I’ve ever experienced! If you’re looking at multiple tours and comparing, I can confidently say this is the one! From start to finish communication was and service were excellent. Sandro was a wonderful guide, informative about the island and really gave us freedom to explore while remaining available at any time. The trip was thoughtful planned and full of beauty!

Did the 4x4 tour with True Spirit today and it was outstanding. Our driver was fantastic — skilled, knowledgeable, and great company on those mountain roads. We saw so much in a single day: spectacular viewpoints, beautiful beaches, and the amazing forests and lush vegetation Madeira is famous for.

Robert knew the land like the back of his palm. I’d trust him to drive anywhere! The trip was well worth it!!!

A must when in Madeira! Robert was our guide and driver and made sure the experience was top notch. We even got to enjoy the natural pools before they closed for the day. The off roading and other stops were amazing and super fun.

Great day out and a wonderful way to see more of the island. Tony Gonçalves our guide was sn excellent driver and had great knowledge of Madeira, past and present. It really made a difference being collected and dropped off at our hotel. Good sized group too, our fellow travellers were lovely people. I would recommend for all - couples, groups and solo travellers. Highlight for us were the Porto Moniz natural pools.

The off-road part was amazing. The Tour allowed us to experience all different kinds of weather in one day and our guide was a local who gave us lots of history as well as flexibility to enjoy the different stops.

David was amazing. He will make you want to bring your dog and move to Madeira. He’s very good at his job, had a fun group, and saw beautiful attractions.

The experience was once in a lifetime. Our tour guide, Sandro, was incredible and went above and beyond for the group on numerous occasions. Definitely recommend traveling with Sandro if you’re given the privilege - couldn’t have asked for any better!

Brilliant tour of the West side of Madeira. Our guide and driver Robertos was very experienced driver and took us throughout off roads which makes experience much better.

So cool experience, our tourguide was Robert, he told us a lot of interesting facts and was so nice. We saw everything was worth to see when you are on Madeira.

Enjoyable tour in a 4x4. Highlight was the swim at Porto Moniz- however it was a quick visit and we would have enjoyed an additional 30 minutes there. Took off a star for the restaurant stop which took an unnecessary amount of time. We took a tour with a competitor company the day before where they provided our group with a restaurant menu and pre-ordered our lunch saving us an entire hour.

My family/I had such a great time on the tour. The guide was funny and knew exactly the best places to go. Would definitely do it again.

David was an excellent guide, comfortable van, everything was on time and went smoothly, beautiful sunrise at Pico Arreiero, visited Santana, Faial, Porto da Cruz, Machico and Santa Cruz, beautiful scenery, nice lunch on the water at Porto da Cruz, would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Madeira!

WARNING: Hidden fee scam for pick-ups!Do not trust this agency's booking system. When you buy the tour, it gives you an option to "select your pick-up location later" with no mention of extra charges. However, as soon as you pay, that option disappears.When I contacted them directly to arrange my pick-up in Caniço, they demanded an undisclosed €30 surcharge! To avoid losing my money, I had to travel to Funchal at my own expense.To make it worse, I checked their booking system again today: Caniço is still listed as a standard pick-up point for the regular price with ZERO mention of any extra €30 fee. This is a deliberate trap to squeeze extra money out of international tourists once they have already paid. Total lack of transparency. Avoid them!
