This is a great way to see so many different parts of this beautiful island. Didn't feel rushed and saw so much. Our driver was really good, stopping to explain so many things and share his knowledge. The only criticism is the trip was advertised as bottled water included but there were no bottles provided so we had to buy a drink.

Itinerary
Ponta Delgada The economy of this village is based on agriculture, small commerce, services and tourism. Overlooking the cliff you may admire a charming village, the local church by the sea and its new pool complex.
Boaventura - a charming agricultural hillside village with valleys torn by several courses of water. One of the oldest colonised villages and almost isolated from the world nearby, it is considered to be a natural sanctuary of great tranquility and is appreciated for the peace that it provides. With so much to discover, beautiful scenery and verdant valleys, exotic and colorful flowers, Boaventura is really nature’s masterpiece.
Arco de São Jorge - Arco de São Jorge is a unique village by the seaside, surrounded by mountains and vineyards, located in the northeast of the island with a population of 520 inhabitants. Besides São Jorge village, the land of Arco de São Jorge is also very fertile and able to host many types of agricultural product due to its microclimate.
São Jorge - São Jorge is perhaps the most fertile of all the northern villages producing all types of agricultural products, specially its land supports sugar cane cultivation and also the Malvasia wine from which the famous Madeira wine is made.
Casas Santana Santana a charming town in the northeast of Madeira famous for its unique colourful triangular typical houses built of stone covered with a roof of straw thatch. Originating from the 16th century, nowadays most of them are kept as a tourist attraction.
Fortim do faial - At the beginning of the 20th century, the place was used as a viewpoint, a function that it still preserves today. It is decorated with 10 pieces of ante-artillery, smooth-sided, of English origin, assembled in naval repairs. Traditionally this artillery saved on feast days in honor of Our Lady of the Nativity.
Porto da Cruz - Named after the cross that was placed on the shore to indicate the port for the Portuguese explorers. One of the many agricultural products here was sugar cane and today the processing factory is still in full operation mainly producing rum and honey molasses as it has since 1927. Besides sugar cane it also produces a dry red wine known as ‘vinho seco’. This has become very popular and every year a grape festival is hosted in the town.
Engenhos Porto da Cruz - Engenhos Porto da Cruz, ancient rum distillery testifies the importance of sugarcane for Madeira. Ancient steam engines set the working pace in this distillery. The original factory workers still maintain and keep the equipment operational.
Caniçal is a small fishing village, where the main catch is tuna. The name Caniçal originates from the abundance of reeds (Caniço) that grew in the more arid areas of the parish. These reeds were initially used as fishing rods, demonstrating the importance of the activity from the very beginning of the settlement.

I went on a tour with the driver Arnaldo and absolutely loved the experience. I visited beautiful places in Madeira and had an amazing time. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend this company and Dino as the guide, he is excellent, very informative and friendly. Thanks again Dino 😁
Super trip with great views, exceptional roads and lots of fun, supported by our excellent and friendly guide Gerhard - thanks a lot!
Fun 4 x 4 trip with beautiful views in the forests and had a exhilarating swim in a natural pool beneath a waterfall. Our guide Deogio was wonderful, friendly and spoken very good English.
We had an amazing day with Gerhard. We enjoyed driving off road through the forest, enjoyed a nice lunch and then got to see all the beautiful spots of the island! Every time again!
It was really great tour led by most professional guide I have ever had - Nuno. We saw so many places, got so much information and had a fun at the same time. We really enjoyed it and I can only recommend both the company and Nuno as your guide.
Had a super day seeing the stunning coast, villages, vineyards, coves and forests on the east coast. We had a sunny day and therefore fantastic views of Madeira’s 3 highest peaks and the extra enjoyment of having the roof off the vehicle. There was a bit of off road driving through the forest which was very interesting but the majority of the tour is on the road. We had a lovely traditional meal at a local restaurant. Hugo our driver was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. All in all a very enjoyable trip.
We took this trip together with my family and we have fully enjoyed it. Our guide took the effort to show us amazing sceneries and gave us lots of insight into Madeira history. We visited remote villages, had lunch in an incredible restaurant up deep in Santana county- so far this was our best eating experience at Madeira - generic native food, prepared gorgeously and served with car. And this for a discounted price! We warmly recommend this trip!
Magnificent discovery day with Fabio whom I recommend. Professional, pleasant, smiling, and attentive.
Lino drove us great and led us everywhere. Super lunch was also organized for us. Top trip. Great service. Gladly again 🤗
Great things! Beautiful landscapes the sublime forest and our awesome Antonio Guide! Nice explanations, thank you!
An unforgettable moment shared with great people and especially our very professional guide Lino, who we will not forget, so much by his kindness and professionalism to advise...
We are coming off a 10-hour roadtrip with our great guide LINO. He transfers to us the love of his island with passion. Numerous explanations accompany the places visited, which makes them even more enjoyable. Impossible to discover these places alone. The 4x4 trips (massages 😂) off the beaten track are also worth the detour. In short, images and memories for a long time!
Wonderful day with our guide Lino. Terrific landscapes accompanied by Lino's rich explanations. Really recommended to all visitors to Funchal.
We had the tour with Spencer and what can you say? Everything perfect! So much information received and beautiful places shown. The tour was really worth every penny. The food was delicious, the rum tasting was also awesome. I can recommend everyone to do this tour, who wants to see what of Madeira. Thanks again to Spencer for the great day!
This day tour was a real adventure and highlight! I had the tour with Lino, whose attitude to life is "enjoy the moment" and that's exactly how we did it. The off-road part was the adventure where the car even got stuck in the mud. With the help of the police, the car could then be pulled out again. It was a great team! I have felt safe and in good hands all along. Lino has told a lot and helped that the ride remains unforgettable. Thank you!
Very nice and informative. Very good lunch. Very great off-road slope. Great viewpoints. Thank you again.
Very pleasant day with Juan well enjoy the day , it made us full of eyes thank you and bnt with great pleasure
This was also a wonderful trip in Mauricio’s jeep...really enjoyed ...a beautiful part of Mardeira with the top location being the natural pools👌Mauricio was a great driver and narrator!
All the activity was wonderful, the guide, Gregorio is a very beautiful person, very attentive and with a deep knowledge of the island. We were in places outside the official routes, we had a great time. It also led us to eat somewhere very good with better quality.
Again on the dreamlike island of Madeira, all the corona hurdles well mastered and also booked a tour again, this time to the north, and again with the best guide Spencer. He knows the island as if he grew up here, speaks English, German, Portuguese and knows a lot about the country and its people. He gives great tips on the island, the plant life and also knows many of the backgrounds and history of the island. And the absolute hammer, are the offroad sections, not recommended for the back-damaged, but for everyone else, an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you very much and next time again!
Mind-blowing something amazing and magnificent, both postcard-worthy vertigo landscapes and the people we've met without talking about driver Greg.... he's very professional, fun good conversation and many more adjectives... we've fallen in love with the island and the... I recommend 100%... that's not paid for with money... thanks Greg
