Pick up from hotel and on time. Group of 6 plus driver In Landrover Discovery. Driver was very good and helpful, looked after us well and drove well. Saw some great views and had a good day out exploring. Only downside was that we were sat in the boot … good view out the back window but would have liked a bit more comfort which is why I have only given 4 stars for value for money!

If you book this, you must request Hugo as your driver! Such a fun tour guide, we definitely felt we explored the best places in Madeira. On road, off road - Hugo was excellent. So full of knowledge and such a personality. Excellent tour! *The only slight inconvenience was that there were 3 couples on our tour...so 1 by the driver, 3 in the back seat and 2 in the jump seats. Fortunately, we all got along well. But it was cozy.
We had a really nice day doing the Safari Tour. Our guide Ronaldo was amazing. Born and raised on the island, he knew literally everything about it, no question unanswered. The children also loved Ronaldo. When we were dropped off, they asked when to see him again. There was never a dull moment. Also because of some unforeseen circumstances he was still able to improvise and deliver the best experience. We saw some amazing views during the tour and learned a lot about the island that only locals know best. A must-do experience. Thank you.

He was a really great guide, he showed us on the map all the places we visited afterwards. He knew a lot about the history of the island and about Madeira in general and had good English. We started on the mountain Pico do Arieiro and after off-roading we saw places like Levada dos Balcões, Santana village, Engenhos do Norte (rum distillery with tasting) or ponta de São Lourenço. We also had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant.
An unforgettable trip in a jeep (for 6 people). Vitor Rosa was a really great guide. Before leaving, he showed us on the map all the places we visited afterwards. He knew a lot about the history of the island and about Madeira in general and had an excellent level of English. We started on the mountain Pico do Arieiro and after off-roading we saw places like Levada dos Balcões, Santana village, Engenhos do Norte (rum distillery with tasting) or ponta de São Lourenço. We also drove through the longest tunnel (3 km) in Madeira and we had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant (Esplanada fish). I highly recommend

we went with Carlos and he was the best tour guide we have could wish for! He was so friendly and kind and told us everything about madeira. i was afraid first but he took all my fear away. we have seen a lot of beautiful places and asked if we could have carlos again next time cause he was such a great guide.
We did the 4x4 experience and it was amazing. Miguel was our driver who was great to be in company with aswelll as having extensive knowledge of the roads and the best places to stop for pictures and to enjoy some of the local and more rural food/drinks. The views were immense and the scenery throught was incredible. Would definitely recommend if you wish to see more of the island and hopefully you are lucky enough to have Miguel

The Guide was awesome. He gave us a lot of information about the island of Madeira. Very nice and stopped in places not planned in the excursion. We could see beautiful scenery and had a good laugh in the Jeep, especially at the back. It was roller coaster worthy 😂. The tour route is really great and the scenery is breathtaking. Buongiorno, Abbiamo prenotato un tour in lingua italiana, ma alla fine è stato svolto in inglese, una lingua che non parliamo bene, e che pertanto ha ostacolato la piena comprensione e l’esperienza della gita. A parte questo, voglio dire che l'autista Sig. Sergio è stato eccellente per esperienza, pazienza e molta passione per quello che fa e per come svolge il suo ruolo, mostrando la bellezza dell'isola di Madeira ai visitatori. Io e la mia amica siamo state molto contente di aver fatto questa esperienza. Le emozioni che abbiamo provato faranno parte di noi per tutta la vita. Sinceri ringraziamenti al Sig.
