Really enjoyed our stay here. Cozy rooms, great design, and a proper relaxed vibe. Big thanks to Rodrigo at reception for the top-class service! The rooftop bar is a spot-on place for a drink, and the restaurant down by the ocean serves awesome food with super friendly staff. Would definitely book again.

We stayed at NEXT Hotel for 3 days, and it was simply amazing! The view from the room was outstanding. We had dinner at the Recharge restaurant within the hotel and it was really good. We also did a spa treatment and it was amazing, the lady was really professionnal and kind. It’s the perfect place to relax but also to enjoy city and night life. The staff is always available and was very welcoming! I highly recommend it!
There arent enough words to express how wonderful this hotel and it's staff is! The hotel is wonderful and its facilities amazing, from the rooftop bar to the beach and swimming pool area with its restaurant. Next to the ocean with great view and very well located to walk to the city center. The staff deserve also a classification on their own, 6 stars! We did have a different room than the one expected and their dedication to solve it promptly and exchange us the room was superb. All of them were just brilliant. Confess it was way over what we expected and hope to return next time we are in Madeira! The only thing worth mentioning was the glass on the bathroom wall always lighted the room and would wake anyone with lightsleep. Anyway we still think its a 5 star hotel! To all the staff, you guys rock!
Here’s a polished version that keeps your experience honest and factual while making it easier to read: Just an honest review after spending only a couple of hours here—I already regret choosing this hotel. A few things that caught us completely by surprise: * There is no valet service. You have to park your own car, and parking is paid. * There is no bell service or concierge to help with luggage. * There are no luggage carts available, so you’ll need to carry or drag your bags yourself. We booked an Ocean Studio expecting a better experience, but those rooms are actually located in a separate building across the street. To get there, you have to enter through the main lobby, take the elevator to the top floor, cross a skywalk, then take another elevator down to the Ocean Studio building. There is no direct entrance to that building, which makes getting to and from your room unnecessarily inconvenient. At this point, we’re already disappointed with our stay. That said, if you don’t mind self-parking, carrying your own luggage, and the long walk to the Ocean Studio rooms, this hotel may still work for you. It just wasn’t the experience we expected, especially for the price.
I stayed at this hotel with my wife and baby. I paid the high price for a ocean suite - this suite was very comfortable with a great view. The location is great. However, I'm afraid this is not a baby friendly hotel. On several of the nights I was there the music from the roof bar carried clearly into the room, making settling the baby difficult. In addition I was not able to access the roof bar in the day time as no children were allowed. I have no objection to hotels aimed at adults, and this hotel should make clearer that this is intended as adults only, rather than allowing me to pay very high prices for an unsuitable hotel. Lastly, if I'm paying nearly €350 a night for a hotel room I would expect free parking. I think it is outrageous that I had to pay extra. Staff were excellent throughout.
