Fabulous hotel all round. Plus you can use the facilities at the Porto Bay Hotel. The rooms at Les Suites are beautiful and well furnished, all the restaurants are goog also they are lots of pools some heated.

The perfect stay! We have travelled all over Europe & this is one of our new favourites! The highlight is definitely the rooms - huge spacious suites with amazing amenities & modern bathrooms. The power of the shower is the best I’ve experienced for years. The AC is the best I’ve experienced in Europe (equivalent to Middle East/Asia standards!). The thoughtful gestures & turndown chocolates were very much appreciated. The overall pool area was okay - nice infinity pool on the ocean although relatively small, the spa is at the sister hotel, which feels less boutique & more mass market. The neighbouring Reid’s palace is beautiful for sunset drinks on the terrace however the rooms at the suites Cliff bay are way nicer so stay here & walk over there for an aperitif! I’m quite a fussy traveller & this was the first time in a long time I felt more comfortable in a hotel room than my own house/bed! We will 100% be back & have already recommended to friends. Special mention to Rosanna who checked us in - she was very welcoming & kind!

I literally cried tears of joy for how beautiful everything was. Absolutely stunning hotel and location. Restaurants are amazing, really delicious food and a good variety. The spa was so relaxing, the best massage I've ever had. Fitness rooms were well kept and spacious. The staff was incredible, they are so thoughtful and I could tell really loved their jobs and providing a nice experience for guests. I would absolutely stay here again. This hotel is one of the best in Funchal, every detail has been thought of and executed to perfection.

We had a wonderful stay here from 1st to 7th June. We were blown away by how great this resort is. The team that work at Les Suites can’t help you enough. Check on was smooth and very professional with a welcome drink. We were shown our room and everything in it, including a lift in our duplex! The pictures show what our room was like. It was very clean, plenty of towels and soft drinks in the minibar were all included. There are two shower rooms and two balconies. The amenities were brilliant, a stunning breakfast with plenty of choice and a menu to choose from. Hand made coffees, pressed juices, water and even sparkling wine. Plenty of seating. Les Suites guests have breakfast at Avista included, guests at Cliff Bay can pay a fee to eat breakfast at Avista, and also offers walk ins but breakfast was always quiet and calm. The pool area is superb, the infinity pool and sun loungers are only accessible by Les Suites guests. Plenty of sun loungers and a nice jacuzzi. There’s a well equipped gym and Pilates room too. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You can get access to all the Cliff Bay Hotel amenities too including the Lido, pools and loungers. An excellent stay. Thank you!
