Beautiful apartment right in the middle of the old town. Fully equipped kitchen and check in really easy and quick. Definitely recommend

A lovely apartment in old town Funchal. Our top floor apartment had a wonderful deck on which to sit out in the evening and enjoy the ambience of the old town. The apartment was fairly well equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were very responsive. Being in old town, there is some low level background noise from people enjoying the shops and restaurants. However, the slight noise dies downs around 10 pm and the apartment has excellent doors and windows that block out pretty much all exterior sound. Currently (Nov 2024) there is some construction going on across the street during the day, but the noise is not excessive and it ends by 5 pm. For those with mobility issues, you should be aware there are three fairly long flights of stairs to the top apartment. We did not find it a problem and having the top deck made it very worth it. This was a great base from which to explore the city. Many thanks to the hosts.

Incredible little apartment. Modern decor and well equipped. The host was communicative, gave great recomendations and spoke fantastic english. Very central so five minute walk to both central market and cable car. On a street with some lovely restaurants which means it can be a little noisy at night - if that bothers you then its probably not the place for you. We loved this place

Excellent place to stay, we had the top floor with a lovely balcony. The service provided by both Liliana and Alexandra is exceptional, they both care for their guests. We've had an amazing stay here on this very artistic and creative street, the painted doors are a must see. The place is so central, you have access to everything right on your doorstep. It has excellent WiFi, everything you need in the kitchen to cook up a meal. Definitely worth a stay if you visit Madeira and want to stay in central Funchal.
