Drive through the pleasant roads from Frankfurt to Heidelburg
On our tour, you'll visit the famous Heidelberg Castle, a landmark rich in centuries of history. The impressive ruins, grand courtyard, and striking architecture reflect its storied past. From the castle’s expansive terrace, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the city and the Neckar River below.
After exploring the castle, we’ll stroll through Heidelberg’s medieval center, visiting the Old Bridge, Karlstor, the Renaissance House of the Knight, and the Heiliggeistkirche.
Then we drive to Rothenburg, our Driver will lead you on a walking tour through charming historic streets lined with half-timbered houses, taking you to the city gates and the impressive Renaissance Town Hall (own cost). Next, we’ll visit the beautiful Burggarten and St. Jacob’s Church, home to the world-famous Holy Blood Altar by Tilman Riemenschneider. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the fascinating Crime Museum, the delightful Doll and Toy Museum, and/or the enchanting Christmas Museum (all at own cost)

Wonderful private tour! Everything was perfectly organized and went smoothly. Our guide, Wajahat, was very helpful, kind, and friendly. The ride was comfortable, and we enjoyed the trip so much. We were able to see the beautiful places in Heidelberg and Rothenburg in just one day.
We had a very nice day with Yasir as our driver. There was enough time to see all the highlights at Heidelberg and in Rothenberg, plus enjoy a leisurely late lunch in Rothenberg. A lot of the trip does involve riding in a vehicle but we enjoyed seeing the varied countryside.
Moaz was a great driver and a guide who provided us with perfect experience both in Heidelberg and in Rothenburg. Due to his good driving and advice, we could look around beautiful “must visit”places in the both locations effectively. Really recommended!

Couldn’t have been better as we were having Moaz to drive us who was well versed with the places and being from Pakistan we had some indian music to share with and easy to relate with our language. Feel when it’s a non English place of travel a combination of this kind will surely help.
On general good tour however free time very limited to see towns or shops. Private Tour operator very nice just wanted to get more historical perspectives about locations during tour.
Great experience overall. Yaisir was wonderful- we were able to tour the castle, get pictures from the river and see the cathedral. Rothenburg was great, the transport was comfortable. Highly recommend this trip

Incredibly convenient way to see these adorable towns! The vehicle was so clean and comfortable and our driver was beyond hospitable!
Our driver, Moaz, arrived promptly in a beautiful, clean Mercedes v class van supplied with water and candies, and whisked us away to Heidelberg, where we toured the castle, the church and the old bridge. (Go early, because the town gets overwhelmed with the addition of the bus tours.) There was plenty more to do-shops and cafes to explore, but unfortunately the timeline of the tour did not allow for that. We hopped back in the van and made the journey to Rothenburg, the fairy tale town. This is such a majestic town and deserves a full day of availability to properly tour all aspects. The half timbered houses and Christmas shops were inviting. We toured St. Jakob’s Church and the Crime Museum. I would have loved to walk the perimeter walls that enclose the town, but time did not allow. We indulged in a schneeball, the local pastry, and that was a nice treat. We really enjoyed our day and Moaz was great. I have rated this tour 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was not enough time to appropriately visit all highlights in both cities. There is at least 4 hours of driving throughout the tour and I wish we had allotted one day to each city instead of squeezing them both into 1 tour.

The walk is to two villages that are very worthwhile. Transport is excellent as well as driver's attention
It would be important to have a suggestion of a route to follow, at the times of visits, when we are without the driver, to better take advantage of the details. Please note that on Sundays most shops will be closed. The sending of the driver's location by whatsapp and/or email should be standardized to facilitate departures. In the description of the package it would be interesting to inform the suggested departure times of each place visited.
