Guided Axe Throwing Experience In Frankfurt Altstadt

Fun activity in for family, friends and team building! We all enjoyed (especially a teenager). They have an instructor who takes you through the 1st round and then you are free to go. The place is cool itself and they serve drinks.

This is like a fun activity one should do when in the city. This should be more popular. I was sceptical that you need to have crazy strength to do this. But that's not case. Irene was great throughout the guiding phase.

This was a great way to beat the heat, have fun, enjoy some great drinks and meet the amazing team at woodcutters.

Fun activity for all occasions, we played the games and had some drinks on a Friday night. Great place to start an night. Cheaper drinks would be nice tho.

It was our first time but it was INCREDIBLE! Great drinks, wonderful staff, and perfect instructions. They even taught us a few tricks. I am so excited to do this again. If you are in Frankfurt, this is definitely the place to visit!

I booked WoodCutter Frankfurt for my birthday celebration. It was really fun, the place is amazing, the people really friendly, and everyone enjoyed it and said to go again really soon. I totally recommend it for a fun activity. Big thanks to Irini for her amazing instructions.

I've been here twice, and I can only recommend it with all my heart. Whether with a group of friends or in pairs, it's tons of fun. The Axe Masters first explain how to throw, they let you practice a little, and then present the games, which may vary depending on how many Axe throwers your party has. In between the rounds you can also learn a few tricks! They also have some extra games, like Nails and Hammer, or the giant Jenga. Drinks and snacks are offered at the bar as well, for a very reasonable price, and can also be included in your reservation, depending on the pack you choose. Pics, stickers and Merch are available as well! Definitely coming back soon! 🪓✨

Certainly unique! Fun way to spend some time in an afternoon! It was not busy when we went- but I think it would be even more fun with all sorts of people around

Visited with my 12 year old son The instruction was great and we had an hour session and 2 different throw techniques (make some time at the end for giant Jenga, chess and a beer!!!) Great atmosphere

Our family was in town for a week and we enjoyed a Sunday night of fun learning how to do axe throwing. With 3 teenagers, this was a great and entertaining night out with a very supportive and engaging team of staff members. We laughed, competed and ultimately had a very memorable experience!

This place is awesome!! Cyan is the best. He was very professional and a good teacher too. This is a must do! Not sure why I can’t leave a review without it being at least 100 characters. For that I’d give trip advisor one star.

What a great experience and laugh we had. It brought out the competitive streak in some. Once Tudor demonstrated the throws and scoring of the games we finally managed some axes on the wood- not many high scores though. Good drinks; fun; music and vibe here and the staff could not have been any friendlier

Loved it very much! Went with my fiancée on Saturday at 12, the owner John was super welcoming and professional in showing us how to throw the axes and even showed us few cool tricks to practice. Highly recommended

It is a nice experience to have fun with your family or friends. Don't worry if you don't speak german, because they can speak english and explain it well. There is no lenguage barrier here. 😁

This place is awesome! They not only take the time to teach the adults how to properly throw the axe, but they took extra time to make sure that my teens were comfortable in throwing axes as well. They are fluent in English and German. They made it fun and easy. It is perfect for a date night a night out with the family. We will definitely come back with our family and friends.

This is awesome to do with some friends! Throwing some axes after some great tips and tricks is easy and makes you very competitive , especially when they teach you the trick shots. Awesome guys! Definitely coming back again!

The place has a vibrant environment, the attendants are polite and help us ok throwing the axe. After practicing you can enjoy a beer.

Excellent !! A really fun experience with a friendly staff. You have plenty of of time but we ended up staying longer because we were having so much fun. Definitely recommended.

We visited Frankfurt Germany again at Christmas. Our son lives there, and he knew of the WoodCutter as he goes there with his friends often. What a great time; fun, safe, and an amazing experience. Much better than the 3 throws for £7 in the UK. At the Woodcutter you get a whole block of time (I think it was an hour). Safely set out. There are instructors (coaches / guides) to show you the axe throwing technique before they let you loose. The guide helps you if you're having trouble. There are light and heavy axes to use what suits you best and they do a group photo at the end. You can get soft drinks or beer from the bar and have it by your throwing lane. If you're in Frankfurt, this is a must do event. It's located in the city centre and easy to get to. oh, and I won, by the way ! :)

Friendly employees, big fun, and a great way to spend an afternoon in Frankfurt Altstadt. Would highly recommend if you need a break from seeing old churches or had your fill of museums. We enjoyed the personalized instruction and chose to extend our time to a total of 1h45m. Would absolutely do this again!

Great fun and great staff, Grace was particularly great to work with she is an asset to the place! We went for a Stag Do and we were all able to get involved and enjoy even if we didn't all participate in the actual throwing.

Great staff! They teach you how to throw an axe and some games. I even beat a staff member in a game. I think that she let me win(she denied it). The trick shots that I learned were my favorite. I Highly recommend.

The place have very good vibes. The staff there very friendly and teaching us how to thought axe in a professional way. Also teach us games we can challenge eachother. They have good beers options. Cherry on top. The toilet is cleaner than my house:D

We had so much fun ! The instructor was so helpful. We spend almost an hour of throwing axes and we did not know that it will be so much thrilling to do !

We had a great time as a family (2 adults, 3 children - 18, 15, 10) throwing axes together. The staff were helpful and showed us what to do and coached us until we got the hang of it. Such fun!
