Nathalie did a great job with this tour, even with the time constraint. I believe there are options for your tour length and I don't recommend selecting the one hour option--it's just not enough time. Our guide, Nathalie, managed to squeeze in a lot and we went back and expanded on that after our tour was over but I feel like we all would have not had to rush if I had gone with a longer tour. Maybe they shouldn't offer that length? Either way, we had a very nice time and got a snapshot of the town and what it had to offer. We had limited time in Frankfurt but if you have a few days, take this tour first day and you'll have loads of options to fill your days, as she had all the insider tips. Thanks for a great tour!
I booked this last minute adventure when my flight got delayed and I found myself with an overnight in Frankfurt. My tour guide was Florian and we had the best time. He was a great tour guide and took the time to ask me about myself (where from, what career I’m in etc.) which helped to make the tour experience more relatable. We strolled through the city like friends and had casual conversation about the buildings, monuments, monumental things that have occurred in the area and I walked away feeling so grateful for the opportunity to visit. Florian was so knowledgeable and gave me food, drink and literature recommendations so I could continue learning about Germany after my trip concluded. If you’re visiting Frankfurt and you have as little as two hours to spare - book this tour and ask if Florian is available. You won’t regret it!
Aubert was a very nice guide and helped us find our way through Frankfurt. His English is very good and we really enjoyed our tour with him.
Loved this quick trip out during a 9 hour layover. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable & fun to be teaching us about Frankfurt.
For the money we spent ($80 each) this tour was not as expected. Our guide told us very little about the Frankfurt area (when buildings were built, history of that building, what it is used for now, etc. he did so on a couple but we could have googled that. He did spend a bit of time showing us where shipping was and where to eat, even showing us where the McDonalds and Burger King were. We don’t at those at home do certainly wouldn’t fly to Germany to do so. Maybe downtown Frankfurt is just that boring and if so, more insight into Frankfurt itself would have been nice. He was a nice enough guy but not a great tour guide.
The guide although very nice was not very knowledgeable of the sites. We were able to explore some areas we had not seen yet however felt that we left being somewhat uninformed.
Great way to get an overview of the city. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and even shared more information with us after the tour was over.
Augert was a lovely guide, knowledgeable and friendly. The walking tour was a great way to get a good overview of Frankfurt and see the significant sights. He even followed up after the tour with more info
Had an amazing time with our guide in Frankfurt, I would do that again but I do have to say that an hour was not enough time. I would book again for a longer duration but we only had an hour that day.
We really enjoyed our tour! Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and friendly! We would definitely schedule another one.
Great route. Got to see a lot and Nathalie was very informative. Gives a great jumping off point for further explorations.
Nathalie was amazing - showed us the city like a local would. Even recommended great restaurants for us. Highly recommended.
BEST TOUR GUIDE- JIHAD… very knowledgeable, kind, polite, amazing story teller. We definitely recommend the walking tour in Frankfurt and hopefully you will get lucky and he will be your guide.
Augert was very nice. He gave us a great tour of the city and explained the history of the buildings and of the area in general. We really enjoyed the tour.
We enjoyed our guide who helped us learn about the village of Frankfurt. It was fun to see the sites and end up at the bridge over the Main River where we were able to have a photo op.
Excellent tour guide Jihad. Very professional, knowledgeable and excellent recommendations for the rest of our stay. Spent some extra time with us which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.
We had such a lovely time exploring Frankfurt with our guide, Nathalie. An hour long tour seems like it would be too short, but honestly, our guide contacted us prior to the tour, found out what our interests were, and tailored our time so nicely to make it special for my son and I. I highly recommend Nathalie in Frankfurt, and LocalBini for all cities you will visit in Europe!
Great experience for those short on time. We booked a similar experience in Colmar and we absolutely love the concept. In such a short time you get so much information and value. Save yourself the time googling and dive into an experience with local from the city. We are in love. ❤️
Jens met us at our meeting spot and was such a wonderful guide for the hour we had to see a much of Frankfurt as possible while on layover waiting for out connecting flight to Venice. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and it was just him, myself and my husband so we had lots of opportunity to al questions. A wonderful tour!
The tour guide was a nice person, but she lacked knowledge and experience. For one our tour you need someone who knows all the ins and outs of the city, and if the title of the tour is a “tour with a Local” you expect your guide to be a local with a vast knowledge about the city, people and the city life. Also you expect some info or experience only a local would know.
Bob was great! He was very knowledgeable about the different attractions in the city. I learned a lot about Frankfurt with him.
Bob was a phenomenal guide! He knew the city very well and gave us amazing recommendations and information! His expertise (and photo skills!) Really made our trip. He even spent an extra 30 minutes on our tour and then walked us back to a familiar central part of the city! Highly recommend.
Our 60-minute tour of Frankfurt was a fantastic experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city's history, and we got to see some of the most iconic landmarks in a short amount of time. We really enjoyed the mix of old and new architecture. A great way to get acquainted with Frankfurt!
The time is short but the cost is too high! 60 minutes has been close to 200 euros, and 90 has been around 200. The guide was friendly, for me because of the delay of the express shipping is much more inclusive, but slightly professional is not enough. Mostly this time, this content, 60 minutes 60 euros I think should be the upper limit already!
Beautiful city was a great experience. You feel a bit like you are in New York. Only here you can also eat well. Lots of friendly people.
