Only stayed for one night so didn't really utilize any of the services they might offer. On that note though they did allow me to check-in when I showed up. No waiting for a set check-in time. Room was clean. Pillow was a bit thin. Checked out the kitchen and it looked alright. In a really great location, just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Price for a dorm bunk was reasonable.

What a glum location. The rooms are clean and quiet but they lost my reservation and booked me into a room that was already full. Staff were helpful and found an alternative for me but still not good. There's no bar and no atmosphere. The all you can eat breakfast is cheap, but a very poor selection of food. All you can eat salami isn't a very good breakfast.
I stayed in more than hundred hotels/hostels but the staff here is for sure the slowest and not friendly. The bathrooms are very dirty but the kitchen is okay. WiFi is very very slow. The hostel is an emergency sleeping place for many homeless people because it is the cheapest accommodation in Frankfurt. The location is good, near the train station but in a dangerous area at the same time, too. High crime rate. I will never stay here again, I couldn't sleep at all.
It's alright. Clean in the sleeping area and showers. There's only one tiny bathroom with two tiny stalls on the floor, and it usually smells bad in some way or another. The colored lighting on the ground floor is just tacky, and luckily isn't reflected in the rest of the hostel. The WiFi may as well not exist, if you're not willing to pay the extortionate prices for faster access. The nearby area isn't the nicest, but if you have to be walking at night, at least Kaiserstraße is one of the better streets to be walking on in the area. The reception and check-in folk are nice.
It was my first time visiting Frankfurt and one aspect I like about this hostel is it's location. It's very centralized not far from the Central Railway Station which is just a 3-5 minute walk. But I was shocked to see how many junkies there were around the Bahnhofsviertel including a sex shop and a red light district very close to the hostel. I didn't really know what to expect from there since it was my first time visiting a hostel but I was surprised to see how this hostel was decorated with all those neon lights changing colors. It immediately gives you the feeling that you're in a nightclub/brothel if you may say so. But that orange little sportscar standing in front of the main entrance is really an eyecatching accessory. The staff members were very friendly to me and very calm indeed. I was very lucky to have shared a room with two very friendly room mates from South Korea and San Francisco and we kept chatting the whole afternoon, comforting my stay there even more. We kept sharing stories about our travels and it was just magnificent meeting these very interesting people. Now coming to the downside of this hostel: I don't know whether it is normal or not since I have never stayed in a hostel before but the separation of bathroom, sleeping room and toilet is just too big. It is important to bring your own things such as shower utensils or towels, because if you don't have one if these with you, you might have to purchase one as that was the case with me. I didn't had a towel so therefore I had to purchase one downstairs in the reception. So given my report here I conclude that this hostel is really an exciting one if you're an outdoor person with everything being located close to it. The staff members were really friendly as well as the people I've met there so overall I would recommend this place to young people like me who are visiting Frankfurt. I would definitely come back again sometime when I'm in Frankfurt again.
