The Rooms - Hotel & House

👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻save money and health and don’t book there. Terribly disappointed! I don’t even know where to start. The room was super dirty. The towel was dirty, with hair on it. When asked to bring new ones, they disappeared. The bed itself was very dusty, the floor sticky dirty. The AC wasn’t working, the shower was damaged, the bathroom heater wasn’t functioning. It was very loud with different noises coming from other neighbors. There are long-term staying people who would smoke weed and cigarettes and it would enter your room which wasn’t ventilated at all, because apparently nothing work there. The staff were super rude and unfriendly, no help at all when needed. Also, they ask for a deposit of 100€ to be returned on departure time. But they will play it around and not return it if you are not persistent. Not recommended at all!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The place was extremely dirty!!! The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional! Save your money and don’t book any rooms there. In fact, it was so dirty, that you could see the dust flying in the air. Our socks got sticky and dirty. The towels weren’t washed and there was a hair in it (see in the picture). There were rats running around. No parking, when they claim that there is a parking. You go there and they want to charge 25€ per night. The street parking is not safe at all. On top of all, we had to do kitchen inventory and report any missing things, otherwise we would be charged for it.

I don't really get the bad reviews, our stay was perfectly fine. I don't give 5 stars because it's the most amazing stay but there was nothing wrong with our stay. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and room were clean. Only thing was there was a small stain on the bed sheet. But highly recommend for the price. Idk how you can get there by transport but by car it was fine. Also there's plenty of street/over the side walk parking.

First, Booking.com and The Room should have it made it clear, there is a caution I have to pay at check-in. This was NOT communicated. For a family we had to pay 100 Euros as caution. Then pay another 4 Euros per person as city city tax. City tax was mentioned during the booking but not caution. That was not transparent. And no it was not in the booking confirmation email. I have read the email several times to make I didn't miss it. Secondly, the location was terrible. It was located in a dirty, dingy neighborhood that didn't feel safe. There was filth in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and a giant apartment complex directly behind the hotel. Using the balcony was impossible. The only view I had was staring at this giant wall of apartments. There were young people loitoring about for reasons I don't know. Thirdly, when we checked in, there were bread crumbs on the floor. The room has not been cleaned before we checked in. The fridge had mold (pictures attached). Furniture was broken (see pictures). Finally, the so called housekeeper was extremely rude. After I checked out, the reception informed me the House keeper would inspect the room to ensure we hadn't broken anything. That sounded very odd that she would do that without me being present. I offered to be there during the inspection. She very RUDE when I brought up that point.
