Staycity Aparthotels, Frankfurt Airport

3.5 stars — good for a layover for location and simplicity. Short Uber from Terminal 1, walkable technically, one S-Bahn stop away on the S8/S9 to Gateway Gardens. Contemporary, new modern building. Friendly staff, 24hr desk. No airport shuttle. Has an automated basic convenience store in the lobby. Room had coffee maker, fridge, kitchenette with sink and utensils — didn't use as we were only there for a layover. Small gym, not very appealing. AC in our room didn't work well so we had to leave the window open, which, we were later told in the morning, wasn't allowed. Buffet breakfast available for additional cost (EUR 2 cheaper if booked on day of arrival, than if paid on the spot).

I absolutely loved my stay at Staycity Aparthotels Frankfurt! I’ve stayed at Staycity properties before, and without fail, every single location delivers a top-notch experience with exceptional overall service. This Frankfurt property is extremely accommodating and has such a cozy, homey vibe that lets you unwind completely. Plus, its proximity to the airport makes it incredibly convenient. It has officially become my automatic go-to accommodation whenever I'm preparing to head back home. Highly recommended!

We had everything we needed for our 2 weeks stay in Frankfurt. The kitchen allowed us to save $$ on eating out and the grocery store was a block away. The cleaning staff were so helpful replenishing our supplies. We had tasty Nespresso in the room, comfortable bedding, and a great shower. The rooms were quiet- I was worried we would hear aircraft noise being so near the airport. The fold out bed was surprisingly comfortable. Front desk staff were gracious. Location was fantastic - blocks from the train station, bus stop, minutes from the airport, and many restaurants close by. Highly recommend for extended stays.

When I’m flying into Frankfurt I always choose Staycity Aparthotels. It’s very easy to get to from the airport making it a low stress commute after long flights. As of this review I’ve stayed here 3 separate stays. The service has been great every time I’ve been with staff with good English and German. I had a good check in experience with Sammy this stay. The check in time is at 3pm which can be difficult but they sometimes have open rooms in case of earlier arrivals. I definitely recommend the breakfast. Very good quality food with a wide variety of options for everyone. My only criticism would be at the entrance there is complimentary water but the clean and dirty cups aren’t properly labeled which can be confusing when you are mentally in auto pilot mode. Overall Staycity is one of the best hotels in Frankfurt and is definitely worth the price.
