Sporthotel Grafenwald

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Highlight to the kids club, the restaurant buffet, and the pool, all very convenient with kids. We stayed in a little vila which also made the experience very nice.

We spent 5 days here as a family with our dog, staying in one of the holiday bungalows. To sum it up: come for the location and facilities, but bring your own disinfectant. The hotel itself is lovely and likely where the 4-star rating comes from—the pool, gym, spa, sports facilities, and chess were fantastic, the restaurant staff were warm and polite, and the location is unbeatable for exploring the local Maars or hiking through the woods with the dog. ​Unfortunately, stepping into our bungalow was like entering a crime scene. Beyond being dated and worn, it simply wasn't clean. We found unwashed glasses, cutlery still wearing dried pasta sauce, a fridge full of crumbs, cobwebs in every room, and hair left across the bathroom. To top it off, one of the bedsheets had visible blood stains. ​If you’re staying in the main hotel and spending your days on the trails or in the spa, you’ll have a great time. But if you’re booking a bungalow, pack some rubber gloves!!

We booked a cabin for a week with half board hotelservice and had a wonderful time! Ok the cabin was a bit dated but enough space for the 4 of us. We loved the healthy food for breakfast and dinner, great quality! Hotel employees are friendly and helpful. We did nice hikes in the woods and visited the little town of Daun with some nice shops. So certainly a place to come back.

Very nice hotel in an amazing location. Just walk outside for beautiful walks or hikes in the woods. We had a suite that was very nice and spacious. The food in the hotel restaurant is amazing. Very nice breakfast bar. Service is amazing as well and the hotel is super clean. There is a very nice indoor pool and the spa offers many services. We had an amazing and relaxing massage. The hotel is away from the town, but still in a great location for some amazing day trips. We had a great stay.
