It was so horrible. We missed our flight to Cancun and we got checked in on this hotel, it was the worst hotel i have ever lived in. The rooms were dirty, old and smelled horrible, the staff couldnt even speak english and the worst part of all, the dinner. It tasted like straight up dog food, it was the worst thing i have tasted in my 47 years of living. Very loud in the hotel. The hotel was not located in a good place, kind of a long way to walk to Frankfurt city but atleast the metro was besides the hotel.

Location is pretty great, not exactly the safest area but it is a prime area to move around and visit Frankfurt. Rooms were comfy, just the right size although the beds weren't the best. It is expected for the price point. Restrooms were excellent and extremely clean. Gym is spacious and has great amenities to workout. Restaurant and breakfast are A+ with good selection and quality for both Italian and Mediterranean options. Where I will give a bad review is for front desk service, I was the Troop Commander for the Army Unit staying here for overlay enroute to a combat deployment. When asking for instructions on check in and coordinating the rooms, the lady that answered me was nothing short of rude and dismissive. I asked several questions pertaining to room allocation and she just kept repeating "one key enough" when it had nothing to do with what I was asking. Quite ridiculous if I am being honest. I ultimately just had the Soldiers pull keys themselves because she was so unhelpful.
Overall hotel is okay. Location is nice DM and grocery store is just within 10mins walk. Just the wifi does not work well. You have be infront of the door to catch the wifi or in the lobby it will work. When you are seated in room, wifi will be disconnected right away.
A very poor experience from start to finish. As soon as I arrived for check-in, the receptionist responded to my “hello” with a blunt “ID please.” It honestly felt more like going through border control than checking into a hotel. I asked if my date modification had been processed without any additional fee, and I was told that it had been confirmed. Then came the room: a dark, ground-floor room that felt very outdated. The bathroom was old-fashioned, some power outlets were barely attached to the wall, and the TV was so old that you have to wait about 30 seconds between pressing the button and the channel actually changing. There wasn’t even a coffee machine in the room. The bar staff, however, were very friendly. Unfortunately, the snack served with drinks was a extremely salty soft cardboard that they call “homemade chips.” The snack was so salty that it actually woke me up in the middle of the night — I had to drink almost two liters of water just to get the taste out of my mouth. At checkout, I was told that I had to stay one more night because my date modification had supposedly not been processed. After about five minutes of searching, they finally found the correct reservation — but then informed me that I now had to pay a modification fee. This fee was not clearly indicated in the Bonvoy app. I travel every two weeks and regularly stay with both Accor and Bonvoy hotels, and I modify reservations quite often. Hotels are usually understanding and flexible. That was not the case here. The manager simply told me to read all the terms and conditions and ended the conversation. I’m very disappointed with this Marriott experience and especially with how my complaint was handled. I would not recommend this hotel for business travel — unless you enjoy paying a high price for something that feels closer to a prison-like experience than a hotel stay.
I like this hotel, food & the location. Calm & neat rooms. Had a comfortable stay. Good breakfast & the dinner was fine as well. Location is very convenient, very close to the Markplatz railway station. Some shops are open until midnight in this area
