Room was as pictured but air conditioning was not working at all. I informed staff and they told me to keep the thermostat at 30 degrees Celsius which didn’t help at all. I’m aware it was very hot outside, but the reception and outdoors was even cooler than inside the room. It was so bad I couldn’t sleep. Shuttle service only to terminal one - I had to get an uber to terminal three. Lift was also broken - I had to carry my bag down the stairs.

• Environment • The hotel is relatively convenient to access, especially for travelers arriving through the airport. Shuttle services are available to transport guests between the airport and the hotel, making transfers straightforward and hassle-free. Its location is particularly practical for short stays, transit layovers, or early morning flights, offering a quieter environment away from the busy airport terminals while still remaining within easy reach of the surrounding areas. Another convenient feature is the self-checkout shop located within the hotel lobby, allowing guests to quickly purchase snacks, drinks, or small necessities without needing to leave the property. • Room • The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable enough for a short airport stay. One minor disappointment was that although we had expected a proper double bed, the setup turned out to be two single beds pushed together instead. While still manageable for sleeping, it did not feel quite the same as an actual double bed arrangement. • Amenities • The room included several useful essentials such as a coffee machine, mini fridge, in-room safe, and complimentary bottled water. However, standard toiletries like toothbrushes and shavers were not readily provided inside the room. It appears that some amenities may need to be requested directly from the front desk instead. Hotel slippers were also not available during our stay, so guests who prefer them may want to bring their own. • Food/Beverage • The hotel has an attached dining venue called NH Restaurant. During our stay, we tried the pulled pork burger, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The meat was flavorful and satisfying, while the fries were crispy and well-prepared, making for a very enjoyable meal after a long journey. • Service • The front desk staff were patient, polite, and generally helpful throughout the stay. However, one unexpected issue we encountered was that both the hotel and restaurant did not accept €500 banknotes as payment, even when we attempted to pay the city tax. While understandable from a business perspective, it still came as a surprise and is something travelers carrying large-denomination cash may want to take note of beforehand. • Conclusion • Overall, NH Frankfurt Airport provides a comfortable and practical stay for airport travelers. While there were a few minor inconveniences regarding room setup and amenities, the spacious rooms, convenient airport access, good food, and friendly service made the overall experience enjoyable. It is a hotel we would gladly stay at again in the future.

This place is perfect for use as they have garage parking just behind the Frankfurt Airport. Very convenient for people who are working on rotational basis in Germany or business travelers who need to leave their car for a few days while abroad. Great and reliable service and reception Staff is helpful and polite.

Perfect for its proximity to Frankfurt Airport. A shuttle service is available from Terminal 1 Arrivals, area B-C. The shuttle to the hotel is free, and to the airport costs €10. The standard rooms are functionally furnished with a table, chair, and bed. The suites, on the other hand, are much more spacious with an anteroom, separate living room, and bedroom. Some suites have a generous combined living and sleeping area with a terrace. A minibar, mini-fridge, and coffee maker are provided, as well as bathrobes and slippers ( Suites). Despite high guest turnover (because most airport guests only stay one night), the staff stays friendly and professional. There is a restaurant/bar with good food! However, the prices are typical airport prices (schnitzel > €31) and not the usual Frankfurt prices. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, and chip shops and Asian restaurant are within walking distance in the industrial area behind it. Planes thunder directly overhead during their landing approach (5 a.m. to 12 a.m.). It's located in the flight path, but that's a plus referring to the short travel distance ! There's a self-service mini-market at reception (toothpaste, snacks, water, beer, etc. – the selection is very limited). All in all, highly recommended for a short night before departure!
