Friendly contact with the host and genuine staff.
There was water damage, so we were given an apartment with two bedrooms. We had booked two single rooms.
The host invited us for a free breakfast and provided a bottle of wine. That was fine.
I then discovered cobwebs and two spiders in the corners.
That shouldn't have been the case.
At breakfast, two strangers were seated at our table because there weren't enough tables. A normal conversation was impossible.
I found that rather out of place and inappropriate.
After 9:15 a.m., no more eggs were added, even though breakfast is served until 10:00 a.m.
The furniture in the bedroom looks cheap, and some of the drawers don't open.
This could be improved.
I stayed in Suite No. 7 with my mother and dog for a long weekend. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The terrace was large and completely private. The host is a really nice person, and his breakfast was of hotel quality. He goes to great lengths to make it special. The Moselle River is directly opposite, and there's also a snack bar with all sorts of food and drinks. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

We were so lucky to find this place! After our booking fell through at a nearby pension, we called at the last minute and were quickly accommodated.
It’s newly renovated, impeccably clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful.
After staying at several different places in the neighboring area over the years, I can say this is by far the nicest of them.
We look forward to staying here again.
