I stayed at the hotel for one night. I was given a very spacious room with two windows—one facing north and the other west. Having windows on two sides is an advantage when it comes to lighting, as hotel rooms these days often lack sufficient light. The room appeared renovated and featured a decent shower (I prefer a shower over a bathtub). Surprisingly—in a good way, and unlike in many other hotels—the pillows were just right: not too soft, yet not too hard. That pretty much sums up the positive aspects of my stay. As for the rest: 1. Upon entering the room, I was hit by a wave of musty, dusty air. The room is carpeted wall-to-wall; if it was vacuumed at all, it certainly wasn't done properly. There was also a significant amount of dust in the ceiling air-conditioning unit—I didn't turn it on because it was cold, but the dust was clearly visible. 2. There was a heavy limescale at the faucets—so much so that the water from the overhead "rain" shower head sprayed in all directions, making it feel like I was standing in a fine mist of water rather than a proper shower. 3. There were spiderwebs on the ceiling (though it might be hard to spot them in the photo I uploaded). 4. The balconies were covered in bird droppings. While no one actually goes out there it’s highly unpleasant to look out the window and have the first thing you see be bird shit. 5. Noise... a lot of noise, at least by German construction standards. Even with the windows closed, you can hear the cars on the road. The bathroom exhaust fan runs constantly, even when the bathroom light is turned off, and the radiators (meant to provide heat) are extremely noisy. I’ve uploaded a short video clip to demonstrate the monotonous noise that persisted throughout my entire stay. 6. Radiators... For whatever reason, the hotel decided that radiators are the only way to heat the room. There were two radiators: one small, one medium-sized, both hidden behind the window curtains. To allow the slight heat they produce to have any effect on the room, you have to pull back the curtains. And when I say "slight heat," I mean that you can touch the radiator and feel only the faintest hint of warmth. Even when set to the maximum, they simply lack the capacity to heat the room. I asked the receptionist for some other heating device, but the hotel offers nothing except for an extra blanket. Consequently, the room remained cold. 7. Parking – Available for a fee of 25 Euros per night. Since I only stayed for one night, the parking fee was less of a concern for me; however, for stays longer than one night, the cost of parking adds up to a very significant amount.

Very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and the whole staff. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and a great shower. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and loved the delicious breakfast. :-) Thank u. Bestl regards from family Khan
We booked this hotel as a stopover accommodation for our family with two children, based on the photos and description on Booking.com. Unfortunately, the reality did not meet our expectations. The room was advertised as having two large beds, but in reality it had two small queen-size beds. They were fine for our children to share, but far too small for two adults. To make matters worse, the duvet was even narrower than the bed, making it suitable for just one person rather than two. The room itself was quite outdated and did not look like the pictures shown online. In addition, the air conditioning did not work properly, making the room uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. The in-room SuitePad (the tablet that provides information about the hotel and your stay) was also not working. To top it off, we paid €24 for parking in the hotel's garage, only to discover that you didn't even need a ticket to exit the garage. That left us wondering whether paying for parking was necessary in the first place. The most disappointing part was that we paid a premium price expecting a premium room, but what we received felt far below that standard. Overall, the hotel did not match the description or photos on Booking.com, and we left feeling that the value for money was poor.
I recently stayed at this hotel for eight nights. There were definitely some positives: the lobby is beautiful and creates a great first impression, the breakfast was very good with a nice selection each morning, and I also enjoyed the gym and sauna facilities. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the rest of the hotel. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. During our entire stay, the towels were replaced, but the room was never properly cleaned, and the bed sheets were never changed once. For an eight-night stay, I expected at least one thorough cleaning and a change of linens. I was genuinely surprised to realize that housekeeping wasn’t actually servicing the room beyond replacing towels. I also reported that the air conditioning was not cooling the room properly. Rather than investigating the issue or trying to understand what we were experiencing, I was simply told that their system showed everything was “green.” It felt as though what their system indicated mattered more than the concerns of a paying guest. No one came to inspect the unit or make a genuine effort to resolve the problem. Overall, the hotel has excellent amenities and a beautiful atmosphere, but the lack of proper housekeeping and the dismissive response to a legitimate maintenance concern significantly impacted our stay. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because these issues are fixable and would greatly improve the guest experience.
We had a very pleasant stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Frankfurt. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely tried to understand the problem first before solving it, which we really appreciated. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom was excellent and very comfortable. The hotel has a very convenient location — close to the city center, in a quiet area, with a store nearby. The breakfast was good and high quality, although not very diverse. We stayed for 5 days, and the menu hardly changed. The restaurant food was tasty as well, but also somewhat limited in variety. Overall, the hotel is worth every cent. If I come to Frankfurt again, I will definitely book a room here.
