⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional stay! We had a fantastic stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Frankfurt Ostend. The hotel was excellent from start to finish — the rooms were clean, comfortable and modern, the service was brilliant, and the location was perfect. A special mention to Zeid, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality really stood out and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
We stayed here while taking part in the Transplant Football World Cup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location for us. What really stood out was how accommodating the staff were. On the days we had early games, they opened breakfast half an hour earlier just for us so the team could eat before leaving. We were so grateful for this and it made a massive difference. A special mention has to go to Zeid and the rest of the bar team. They were brilliant from the moment we arrived. So welcoming, friendly and always willing to go above and beyond for us. We had a great week at the hotel and the staff played a big part in making our World Cup experience even more enjoyable. Fantastic hotel at an excellent price . Location is great for the ECB but also 15 mins walk along the river to the old town . Rooms decent size and very clean and modern . Reception staff super friendly and helpful with directions and train tickets
I was really looking forward to my stay here and I was left rather disappointed. My room card kept deactivating (4 times!) and the front desk placed the blame on me for either having it near my credit card or phone, which I didn't. On one day I came back to find the safe in my room open with all of my stuff out in the open for anyone who enters the room to take. I am more than certain that I left it locked, as I even took a picture of it to make sure before leaving my room. Coming back to see the safe wide open left me feeling quite alarmed and when I let the front desk know, once more the blame was placed on me, that surely I "must've left it open" (again, I know for a fact I didn't) which left an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. The room also had a lot of silverfish and once more the front desk just shrugged about it and said that it was normal and that they're harmless.... The "Do Not Disturb" signs seem to be merely decorative as the housekeeping will keep knocking until you answer to make sure you're in your room and truly do not want to be disturbed... so I don't understand the purpose of the signs. Overall, I was left incredibly disappointed over the lack of help and understanding from the front desk. The only nice, professional and friendly service where the staff for the morning buffet. They were the saving grace of my stay in this hotel.
The hotel room is large and clean. The location isn't the best as there aren't much to see or dine nearby. However, it's very close to a subway and tram station so you can take the transit. Service was ok as the phone inside the room was not working since day 1 and we notified the front desk but was never fixed. The room key card stopped working a couple times. Given there was no working phone, I had to walk down to the front desk every time I needed something. I know someone staying there the same time in a different room had the same issue.
