What you need to know about before you book this place: 1. It is NOT close to the city. You will need public transport/ taxi to get to where you need to go if you have no car. Take bus 28 to Kalbach station, from there a train will take you into the city(U8). The bus stop is within 50 steps of the hotel. Once you come out of the hotel, go to you left and follow the road around. ( Street name is Alt Harheim). Go past the chemist, which will be in your left and cross the road to get to the side for the city bound trip. You will see a pole with 28 on it and a few chairs. There is no shelter, so if it's raining, take an umbrella. 2. The hotel was built in the late 80s and it has the decor to match. It is dated and could do with an update. However, it is clean and the beds are comfortable. Even thought there is a control for what looks like an aircon, there is no aircon in the room, there are no vents. So I'm unsure why is there. The room we were in was stuffy and we needed a fan to keep the air circulating, don't know what its like in summer? 3. Although the hotel is in a residential area, it is, for the most part, very quiet. Except if you're in room 211 which is right above the entry and where people gather to talk or smoke. Then you will hear the conversations and smell the smoke from the cigarettes and you will need to keep your window closed, unless of course you want to eavesdrop, then by all means, keep your window open. You'll be bored to sleep. There is a restaurant for guests and the public. But the menu is limited and when we dined, two pasta dishes were not available. ( lasagne and Americana). We ordered two burgers and it took almost 30 minutes for the did to arrive. Unsure as to why it took so long as the restaurant was not busy at all. We did not mind waiting, but if you're in a hurry, you might want to take this in mind. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room next to the restaurant. Many selections to be made, but get it first , it else you miss out. Perhaps it would be better to cook hot food as ordered rather than let the food sit in the hot box because when we came down to eat, the hot food was not appetising. Further down the street ( Alt Harheim), there is a bakery so if you don't want breakfast, you could try that place. 4. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We asked for two extra pillows as the ones on the bed were too soft. We asked for a fan, as explained above. Both requests were met with very prompt service. Overall, this wasn't a bad place, just not what we expected for what we wanted to do while in Frankfurt.

My Review: My stay at this hotel in Frankfurt was not perfect in terms of the room, but the wonderful service I received from the staff made me overlook many of the shortcomings. The room itself needs some extra care, especially the furniture. Housekeeping could also be improved — during my 13-day stay, my room was cleaned only four times. One time, the housekeeper waited inside my room with the door closed just to tell me she would clean it the next day. The towels provided were quite worn out and had turned gray instead of their original white color. The location is also a bit far from the city center, so you need to take a bus and train to get around, or walk about 16 minutes to reach the nearest train station. However, I would like to sincerely thank the amazing staff who made my stay enjoyable. Ayoub was always kind and patient, answering all my questions. Angelika welcomed us warmly and was very helpful from the first moment we arrived. Bianca’s constant smile and friendly attitude brightened each day. Fouziya worked hard in the restaurant to keep the buffet well maintained, and Marinella was always quick to respond whenever I needed something she’s excellent at her job. And finally, Abdullah was incredibly friendly and genuine, always making his guests feel welcome and happy. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference — thank you all for making my stay much better!
Nice rooms, bath, balcony, and view. Friendly staff, private parking and breakfast included. I want to rate 5 stars but i was really missing aircon :(
No phone network and very poor wifi. The room was super hot, so I could not sleep properly, even with the window open was very hot. It is situated in a square so with the window open you could hear the people until 1 or 2 am. It I not very clean and it is very old as well.
The staff is super excellent. There are simply no words. A perfectly clean hotel. A modest and tasty breakfast. An excellent location for those looking for peace and quiet. A bus stop is about 100 meters from the hotel. leads you to the train at a distance of 170 meters on foot.
