The hotel is beautiful, with a large property, cozy rooms, and a good breakfast. We arrived at the hotel early specifically to relax and unwind, but instead, we had to get back in the car and drive around looking for a restaurant. We were very disappointed that the on-site restaurant was closed on Monday, forcing us to waste time like this. On top of that, Brigitte von Boch’s shop was also closed. The sign on the door said it should be open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but it was locked. If you plan on staying at this hotel, make sure to check all the information and schedules in advance.
I have work here in Uber which brings me back every few months. I LOVE this place!! Its feels like there is a lot of care that goes into how this place is and I appreciate it.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Room comfortable and large enough even with two dogs(junior suite). Room could use a slight refurbishing . Outdated bathroom…
Nice environment. The horses are a nice touch .
Breakfast area is a disaster if too many people are present at the same time. Waiting 10 minutes to make myself a coffee is not funny. The buffet area is simply too small. The buffet itself is quite ok though.
Heating of our was not appropriate when we came to the room. No service in the evening of 26th December. Charging costs for our electric vehicle by 1,49 € per kWh. Reasons not yet clear. Rooms and location were very nice.
Over the past three weeks, I have had a very constructive exchange with the hotel management. Mercedes reimbursed the blocking fee, and the hotel will now provide its guests with detailed information about affordable charging options. Overall, an excellent complaint handling process. Hence the extra stars.
This hotel and grounds are like no other hotel I have visited! Not only are the rooms all unique and to a high standard but the breakfast, restaurant and staff as well as the facilities just make this a 10:10 stay! Jump up to the spa with sauna and steam room, relaxing space and chill zone, explore birds of prey or visit the many horses on site! There’s a beautiful little indoor market and the restaurant was just like something from a film set with five star food and service! Breakfast was a huge selection and they have a bar and lounge in the hotel too with big comfy sofas! Highly recommend this place as it offers so much more to explore than just a hotel stay! Will be back!
