The captain was very nice however the boat wasn’t that clean. The refrigerator was filled with moldy water and wasn’t able to be used. Also, we only had thirty minutes to ride the jet skis. Due to time constraints, not everyone was able to ride. I was celebrating my birthday and made the best of the experience.
ABSOLUTE SCAM! I came all the way from California and paid $429 and they told me rest $400 later and I showed up. No captain and no boat. Company said VIATOR is a scam. Do not book. Captain stopped replying as well.
We had an amazing experience on this yacht ride in Miami! It was the perfect outing for our family—beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, and very family friendly. The crew was kind, attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, including the kids. The yacht was clean, spacious, and well maintained. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the water, take photos, and create great memories together. If you’re looking for a fun and/or relaxing activity in Miami that works well with all group ages, I highly recommend this experience. We would definitely book again!

I had a very disappointing experience with this yacht company and would not recommend them based on what occurred during our trip. While the boat itself was clean, the overall experience was unacceptable. We were instructed to arrive at 8:00 AM, but there was no communication from the captain, and we did not make contact until approximately 8:45 AM. This lack of coordination immediately set a poor tone for the day. Once we were on the water, the situation became even worse. We were stranded for nearly 8 hours due to issues with the boat, with little to no communication from the captain throughout. It was especially frustrating that the captain did not speak English, making it extremely difficult to understand what was happening or what the plan was. This was also my first time on a yacht, which made the experience even more stressful and unsettling. At one point, we were left in the path of oncoming boats, which was extremely alarming and honestly traumatizing. Another vessel pulled up alongside us, causing excessive rocking and creating an uncomfortable and concerning situation for everyone onboard. That same boat was playing loud music, and we had no choice but to endure it. To make matters worse, my phone went missing during the trip and has still not been recovered. The company stated that there are cameras onboard, but they were not functioning—if they had been working, it could have helped determine what happened to my phone. Multiple people in our group also ended up with severe sunburn due to the extended, unplanned time on the water with no clear updates or support from the crew. What’s most disappointing is that we never received any apology or acknowledgment for what happened. Overall, this was a poorly managed and stressful experience. Aside from the cleanliness of the boat, there were serious issues with communication, safety, and professionalism. I would strongly advise others to consider other options.
Got onto the boat 30 minutes late after being told the captain was looking for us and he never came to find us. Basically got stranded out on the water and everytime we asked what was going on we were told by the woman she didn’t know, when clearly there was an issue starting the boat. Had to be pulled aside by another passing boat and wait for a mechanic to come get the boat starting. We sat stranded for about 3 hours and when we brought it up we were basically gaslit by everyone saying we asked for extra time and that nothing was wrong with boat. Pictures attached show them working on the engine and the mechanic being brought out to us.

We arrived early for our scheduled departure, only to be told we were late—despite the crew never leaving the yacht to find us. As a result, our trip started 30 minutes behind schedule through no fault of our own. Once onboard, things only got worse. Neither the captain nor the first mate spoke English, making communication nearly impossible. We were rushed through a contract we couldn’t fully understand, and any questions we had went unanswered. To make matters worse, the yacht we boarded was completely different from the one advertised in the photos we booked from. About halfway through our 4-hour charter—where we specifically requested time to both tour and swim—the boat broke down due to air in the fuel lines. We ended up stranded for an additional 3 hours. During that time, there was little to no communication from the crew about what was happening. We were left guessing and stuck in an unsafe wake area initially, unable to even enjoy the water. Because of the delay, we had to cancel our afternoon plans. We also ran out of food, drinks, and snacks since we had only prepared for the original timeframe. To top it all off, the owner showed zero accountability. Instead of acknowledging the situation, they falsely claimed we “extended” our trip—as if being stranded on a broken boat was a choice. This was not just a frustrating experience—it was poorly managed, unprofessional, and misleading from start to finish. Do not bring your family or friends here. There are far more reputable charter companies out there.
This was, without question, one of the most unacceptable and unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered. We were left stranded on a broken boat for approximately four hours with no food, no clear communication, and no sense of urgency from the staff. At no point did anyone properly explain what was happening. Instead, we were given vague excuses, including comparisons to “an airplane situation,” while being told a mechanic was coming—yet we were never updated on progress or timing. At one point, our boat was tied to another vessel and repeatedly slammed against it, which was both alarming and unsafe. We were then left sitting again, thinking we would finally be taken back to shore, only for more delays with no explanation. To make matters worse, the owner later falsely claimed that we chose to extend our time, which is completely untrue. We were stranded, not enjoying extra time. Because of this ordeal, we missed prior reservations and had our entire schedule disrupted. During the chaos, a phone went missing. We were initially told that the cameras were not working, but upon returning to the marina, the owner contradicted that statement by claiming he had reviewed footage and said we were “having a good time”—which was both inaccurate and irrelevant to the situation. Additionally, basic necessities were not maintained, as the water repeatedly stopped working throughout the trip. Despite all of this, the owner refused to provide a refund or take accountability. The lack of professionalism, safety, honesty, and customer care was shocking. I strongly advise others to avoid this company entirely.
Fun time, but was not exactly as the said in the advertisement. Was great to go down the Miami river and see different structures and architecture, but not much for any other scenery. Once in the bay, you head to the island which was crowded and we just anchored out in the bay. Still enjoyable, but thought there was a little more to be had.
If I could rate 6 stars…..over perfect! Excellent communication from start to finish, meaning from booking, during the ride and after the ride. I had Captain Jose during my experience and his customer service was unmatched.

The most fun random thing to do ever. Fed a bunch of raccoons watermelon and kayaked through a Minecraft mangrove biome. Pretty amazing.
Very disorganized- Initially lost our confirmation, this resulted in last minute requirements ( the night. before) were we unaware of:: being sent a list of captains and stewards, selecting and contacting a captain, selecting and contacting a steward to find one that was available for our charter. Additional charges we were unaware of after booking and confirming charter and asking if there where additional expenses. Captain and steward did not speak or understand english. Interior of boat when we arrived had a strong odor of pot. Steward stayed on the upper deck with the captain and did not help anyone in our party . No ‘water toys’ as advertised. Captain passed a yacht being towed in a slow wake area causing a wake resulting in the staff of the yacht yelling at our boat and taking photos - scaring our kids that we were in trouble. After spending a lot time researching, selecting and booking this experience very far in advance , Our kids had been looking forward to this for 3 months. This charter was a deeply disappointing experience and fell far below what was described.
There seemed to be no accountability between Viator, the "third party" (we were never sure who that was), the boat owner, and the captain and crew. We were told to choose our own captain from a list of names. We asked for assistance and a representative from the third party or Viator said he selected someone for us that he knew well and was a friend, and assured us he spoke excellent English. When we arrived at what looked like a very sketchy collection of slips, the Capitan spoke very little English and had never heard of the person who referred him. There was a strange situation where we were handed the boat keys and then had to hand them to the Captain. The contract they wanted us to sign seemed odd. The whole situation was too uncomfortable and we left and did not take the trip.
We came on a friends trip and diced to get a yacht the captain was really nice and welcoming I definitely recommend we brought our own drink but also they made us drinks. the bonus was that it came with jetski!!
