Itinerary
When you arrive for the Wynwood Graffiti Experience, we will have a large canvas panel set up along with a table-full of spray paint of all colors. Masks and gloves will be on hand for personal protection. Although we rarely have issues with ruining clothes, it is best to come in something something comfortable that you won’t mind having a few paint dots on. We will take you step by step through the basics of using spray-paint. We start with the very basics: how to hold, angle and handle the spray can and manipulate the pressure and length of the spray to paint dots of different sizes, lines of different widths, and to write letters. Then we move on to some more complex skills, like creating a drop shadow, making backgrounds and patterns, and doing a color gradient. After going through the skills of the lesson, you will have time to experiment on your own and compose an original artwork. Our facilitator will be there to give guidance and tips, and to answer questions while working alongside you. *Please note the activity no longer includes a take-home art paper.

Great activity you get to spray paint on a board canvas they also have tote bags and bucket hats you could paint for an extra
I am not an ‘art person,’ but my friend is, so I thought she might like this experience. I have to say it was informative, achievable and fun. Our instructor was awesome and made me feel like even I could create something artistic. I would recommend this for anyone in the area who wants to do something accessible and interactive.
Super fun time! Was in a group of 7, perfect size and our instructor, Frankie, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and attentive, tailored the lesson to each of us! Would definitely recommend and will be back to learn more!
This was such a fun experience. Frankie was an amazing teacher and we had such a great time learning graffiti! Highly recommend. Bring out your artist!!
A lot of fun. Clothes can get pain on them! You learn how to use spray paint from a true professional.
Came for the graffiti class which was great. We learned different techniques and you can even opt to paint a canvas or a hat or tote bag. We had a really good day!
Frankie was incredible with my family. I messed up and we arrived an hour after our scheduled time but he was so very gracious to setup again for us. I appreciate him making our experience awesome. We learned so much and had a fantastic time. Recommended 10-10
Really cool and different activity, i recomend to do it with kids who are art orientes and want to share it
Frankie gave us a wonderful introduction to how to do graffiti art. If you plan to visit the Wynwood area, you should really do this graffiti art experience first: it will give you a much greater understanding and appreciation for how much skill and talent and practice it takes to even be “bad” at graffiti, much less an artist. Frankie was very calm and encouraging to my son, who is a fan of graffiti and wants to learn how to do it. Frankie taught us the basics but also generously shared all kinds of professional information about nozzles, types of paints, respirators— even the “etiquette” of graffiti—that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Frankie hit just the right notes for my preteen: laidback but encouraging, helpful but not intrusive. This lesson with Frankie was a highlight of our trip and enriched our exploration of the Wynwood neighborhood. I only wish that we had also signed up to do the guided tour of the neighborhood as the area offers so much to look at that it can be hard to know where to start.
Both tour guide and artist in store/host were terrific. Felt like a view into another world where work and life were lived differently than in our typical lives.
My boyfriend and I had a great experience wih our guide. We learnt the basics and discovered the thrill of painting with spray cans. Definitely worth it, I recommand!
It was super fun to experience trying to make something cool with spray paint. I have used it before but mostly to cover entire objects. Turns out, it's pretty art. We were all so grateful to do it before going on the art tour because it gave us even more appreciation for
Lance is very knowledgeable! Great sense of humor too! He helped us understand the difference of the art, artists’ works and the temporary nature. We were there last year and it was worth going again.
It was tremendous fun! We enjoyed learning the methods of spray painting and being able to try our own artistry.
We were all intrigued with some stories, the pleasantness of our guide and especially the wall art. It was very colourful and varied. We found the streets generally clean but homelessness in some areas very sad.
The teacher was great, learnt some new techniques. I took my 5 & 11-year-old kids who enjoyed the hour class. We will be able to implement at home the techniques that we learnt.
We went to the Wynwood Art in Miami on the month of April. I did the graffiti experience with my daughter. We had a lot of fun. First time we did graffiti. Staff was great. There is a person that guides you to the process. Price was good.
We practiced learning how to create Graffiti work. The instructor was kind and attentive. It was lots of fun. I definitely recommend that you sign up. If you’re solo or a group, you’ll enjoy it!
My cousin and I recently took a graffiti class with Franky, which was an amazing experience! His passion for art and personalized guidance made learning both fun and inspiring. We left the experience with a new appreciation for graffiti art and some new skills. I would highly recommend it!
Had a great experience. Went to celebrate a family's birthday and Frankie was extremely helpful, friendly and nice. I am not an artistic person, but thoroughly enjoyed learning how to do graffiti. It gave me and my group an appreciation of the graffiti artists. It was amazing. We are considering doing the golf cart/brewery tour next time with Frankie. Excellent experience, keep it up!
We have no artist bones in our bodies, but had a fabulous time learning from Emily. It was always about having a bit of fun and doing something different and that’s exactly what happened. Thanks Emily for your patience and for having fun with us
Emily was great !! Super nice and knowledgeable. The place has great items to buy, super cool store. The set up was great with great design and detail that you would not know unless you go to this class. Great way to Express yourself and no rules -no right way or wrong way
Emily was an excellent host!! She was really in depth with explaining how to use the spray cans to make what you want! I really enjoyed myself!!
Our instructor was an absolute joy to work with and gave great insight to the techniques and the surrounding neighborhood of Wynwood! A must in Miami!
I visited with my 3 children (ages 11, 9 & 8). There were two other adults in the class plus the instructor, Emily. Emily gave easy to follow instructions and made time to assist everyone personally. We learned quite a number of techniques. Creativity was definitely encouraged and applauded. We had a wonderful time.
Super fun experience. Our instructor Emily was awesome and very encouraging. The class that day was small (only two people) so we each had an entire canvas to ourselves. We learned so much, it makes you appreciate the art of graffiti more now that you understand the effort that goes into it. Can highly recommend!!!
Wonderful activity for this 1 hour experience. The owner gave a lesson and provided time and encouragement to practice our new skill. We each left with new knowledge and our own creation.
This was a great way to see the Wynwood Area. Great way to explore the neighborhood quickly, identify places you'd like to explore more, and learn about the graffiti artists and muralists local to Miami! The tour guide was super informative and friendly! Highly recommend going during Art Basel, but a definite must anytime of the year!
We had a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide called Lee. The art was breathtaking and the hour flew by. Would recommend.
Fun activity we wouldn’t otherwise do and fun instructor. Learned quick technique for spray painting and then made a art on a canvas. A little pricy for just a one hour experience and would be better if there’s a take home art piece included (otherwise it’s $45 for 1 hour of just spraying a large group canvas)
What a fun experience to enjoy with my artistic child! My son, 6 years old, is obsessed with all things art! What a great way to spend Mother's Day than learning how to spray paint! It was a bit tricky for his little hands to maneuver the cans, but he had fun with it! They had 3 large canvases set out for the group to go wild on! It was a little on the pricey side, but I still think we will go back! Next time, I may just set him loose and watch! Thank you to Emily, the artist, for being so great! Oliver was so pumped to learn a new art medium that he gifted the artist with a canvas :-)
We got this tour as a gift through Virgin Experience Gifts. The confirmation on our voucher stated that we should meet at 12:45pm at 300 NW 26th street. We were there at that time and no one showed up to guide us.I emailed Virgin Experience and reported what happened and told them to call me. Someone called me soon after and said that Trip Advisor told us to meet at the wrong address. He said the tour guide would bring the group to us which he did.The guide was named Ivory and he gave a fun and informative tour.
Dont think twice... book this experience! Orestes is a class guy. The set up is safe, professional, and fun. My kids (12,9) had a blast, got a little bit of paint on them, and were smiling the whole time. GREAT TIME !
We did the tour with Ivory who was knowledgeable about graffiti artists and gave us recommendations of movies to watch to learn more about graffiti artists. I really enjoyed the tour.
Wow! What a fantastic tour we were given by our guide Lance. We were not sure going into this tour if it was worth the money. It seemed fairly expensive for the four of us. Well.....I can say with sincerity I would pay double to get this tour again. Lance was extremely well versed in the art form and knew the artists, often personally, and could provide information that we would never have gotten just walking around on our own. This tour was for my daughters 17th birthday and she wants to be an art teacher in the future. Lance really treated her like gold and gave her his personal attention way above the call of duty. I was fascinated by something I had previous thought of as just "kids spraying paint". It is so much more than that. Lance gave us the history of the art form and how it has transformed into today's examples of the street graffiti form. Do yourself and your group a favor and book this tour prior to walking the neighborhood. It will make your trip son much more informative and special. Thank you Lance! Mark, Sue and Erin from Stuart, Fl.
This place is a must if your in Miami! Too see all the cool graffiti paintings and sculptures is WOW. It's free as well
Great experience, highly recommended! Fun hour spent being creative with spray paint :) Will gift this to friends!
Cute, but nothing more very good the guy who explained how to draw them, but disappointing because expensive and in the end you try to draw on big cardboard
Parfait pour découvrir graffiti art, mon fils de 9 ans s'est bien amusé et moi aussi!prestations supplémentaires en option
Fue excepcional! El tiempo se pasa súper rápido, hemos quedado con ganas de continuar o volver! Muchas gracias
