Upon arriving, the museum building looked unimpressive but once inside we were totally impressed. Overwelming amount of historical books, memorabilia ,costumes and much more filled countless showcases. Highly recommend listening to the audio tour with your headphones or earbuds. The immersion portion included the Wizard of Oz early version, Van Gogh and a space theme. Although interesting we felt that they were somewhat disconnected. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and learning interesting facts from the owner.

My husband loves the Wizard of Oz so we booked a tour for our anniversary trip. We were amazed by the depth of information and number of displays. So much to see and learn! Really well worth the cost of admission.
Amazing museum my husband who was a reluctant participant even enjoyed it. So much more to Frank Baum then I expected. Worth a visit
Discovering the Wizard of Oz museum has been such a joy and magical experience. My dear friend and I visited on a weekday, we had a blast following the yellow brick road, upon entering the magical space the most friendly people greeted us (which we learned were the owners) Fred and Polina share so much knowledge, with such joy and passion for the amazing museum; which showcases the Dorothy dress worn by Judy Garland in the film, the cowardly lion’s gloves, original books; so much more. The I dream of Jeannie room was stunning; and the immersive 🙌🏻💚 I could stay in this room for over an hour; amazing visuals; with 🎶accompaniment; from Oz to Van Gogh to deep space 🪐Absolute must see!!
Nice side tourist spot. Didn't realize the author wrote so many books about oz.
What a great experience we had today! Fred has such a wonderful collection of Wizard of OZ memorabilia! He was a great host. The immersion experience was incredible.
The owner is a very involved great guy. The immersive experience was great and the museum had item I had not seen before.
Great place. We enjoyed our experience. Hidden Jem in coco beach. Nice guy. Would recommend that other people do it as well. You should too and will like it.
This was a great museum, to explore and it was a lot reading and looking it was awesome for conversation.
If you love the Wizard of Oz this place is a can not miss!!! Niece’s 21st birthday girls weekend and she loved it!! If you are near Cocoa Beach do not miss visiting you will not be disappointed!
We picked an overcast day and found the museum sunny. All the memorabilia and history was fantastic. The immersion experience at the end was incredible
SO COOL! It was such a neat experience. And what a combination of things I love!
Great Experience we went towards closing time so next time we will get there early to enjoy everything.
We had an amazing time..spent almost 2 hours. This is our 3rd time.. we go every year. Their new location in Cocoa Beach is awesome.
Very informative and lots to see. The immersion experience was the cherry on top.
This place is amazing! Owner and staff very friendly. So much to see. Items, books, I dream of Jeannie. Immersion room. Nice collection
Just delightful experience walking thru and seeing the books and memorabilia. Loved the well laid out organization and lots and lots of items. Also enjoyed the immersive experience. Beautiful and the music was a perfect touch.
The largest collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia I have ever seen! It was very educational and interesting.
This was such a fun experience to do on a very hot day!! The museum was amazing! I grew up on this movie and the information was fascinating!! The added bonus of I Dream of Jeanie was so special. Do NOT MISS THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE!! You won’t regret it!
If you really LOVE everything about every version of the Wizared of Oz and want to see every commercial product EVER created in the last hundred years, this is for you! While interesting and beautifully displayed, I'm just not that into it. The kids, three of them ages 9 and 10, had a great time watching the videos, playing with the toy set up and the immersive experience and they had watched the movie at least once in their lives. Staff were lovely and helpful and it is interesting-
While planning our trip to Florida I stumbled upon this museum and we're so glad I found it. It's now housed in a new location which allows the owner to display his 40 year collection, which is very impressive. He is very nice and knowledgeable about all things Wizard of Oz. There is a lot more to the whole Oz universe than was depicted in the movie, which we didn't know. The immersive Oz/Van Gogh experience is an added plus. This museum is a must for anyone that grew up watching (and loving) the Wizard of Oz every year. Best of all my sister, cousin and myself (all ladies of a certain age) got to skip down the Yellow Brick Road!
We really enjoyed the new place and talking with the owner. His 40 year collection was amazing on things that we never knew about with the movie. A total must see if you are in the area.
What a pleasant and unexpected ‘Thing to Do’ in a popular Florida beach/space town! Learned about this museum via a Google search for something to do on the second day of a 2-day visit to the area. Turns out the museum had been closed since earlier in the year but after relocating to a new building/zone, it just happened to be reopening on the day we wanted to visit! We happened to be the first customers on this day and while the facility was still in the last minutes of their organization and finishing touches, Fred, the owner, and curator, was kind enough to escort us around and provide many details about the collection and his efforts. I highly recommend this stop be added by visitors to the area. Give yourself at least 2 hours – this will include the ‘Immersive Experience’ about which I am not saying anything so you can be awed without spoilers. Oh, and the ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ room was also a surprising delight.
Great self guided tour with lots of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Immersive theater was awesome. Owner very pleasant and explained how the tour was done. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed this a lot. So much information on the history of the book. L. Frank Baum actually wrote 40 books altogether. Owner very knowledgeable. There were original items from the movie.
The Museum was amazing. The amount of Oz items and history presented was fabulous. The owner was nice attentive and very knowledgeable and helpful with information or any questions. Would completely recommend to people coming down this way awesome activity to stop and see.
Such a fun interactive museum and has something for Everyone to enjoy
Follow the yellow brick road inside to the best little Wizard of Oz Museum in the world! If you are a fan of this classic movie then you can not afford to miss this experience! Best two hours in Florida!
Great museum! I learned things i didn't know. I liked that you can easily see everything in about 90 minutes.
Great time. Very detailed and fun!
If you’re into the wizard of oz memorabilia, this is a fun way to spend some time. The museum tour is self-guided with QR codes on each display case. There is a lot of good history about the early (before the movie) productions and just how many books LFrank Baum wrote. There were quite a few collectibles from the 80’s and 90’s that I could have skipped. There was a little information on the spin-off movies “The Wiz” and “Return to Oz.” Virtually nothing on the “Wicked” books, musicals, and movies, much to my disappointment. There are some mannequins of the characters and some disturbing flying monkeys (taxidermied baboons with wings) for photo ops. The highlight of the museum is the immersive video room. There must have been 30 projectors set up pointing at all 4 walls and the floor. It plays a 360 degree projection on a continuous loop for about 30 min. When the last people in front of us left, leaving only my daughter and me in the room, we had a blast, running and dancing through the room, which is pretty much encouraged. :) I hope there weren’t any cameras in there.
Really cool museum with amazing original memorabilia. Very friendly staff. Love the immersive Wizard of Oz/van Gogh room.
This place showed us the evolving story of how L Frank Baum's vision came to life. We really enjoyed ourselves with all the interactive exhibits.
I love all the figures and information about the original movie and the immersive experience was cool too!
Fantastic place spend some time, so much to look at and a fun movie experience. Great props to take photos with, highly recommend.
Off to see the Wizard! The wonderful Wizard of Oz!
If you like the Wizard of Oz at all, this museum is worth the stop. Reasonably priced and run by a family, it has a great collection! Several copies of original editions of the Wizard of Oz books, ornaments, puppets, figurines, if it was made it the image of someone in Oz, it's probably here. There is also an interactive display featuring both the Wizard of Oz and Van Gogh paintings. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
Great experience for all! Stopped in as a fan, able to see some great artifacts
An impressive collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia, both movie and book and everything else under the sun. We found some new favorite characters, like the Patchwork Girl, the Saw Horse, and the Giant Horse of Oz. The immersive experience was somewhat bizarre. There was one scene where the lion is being pulled by mice, and in that scene the lion appears on the floor as well as two walls at the same time, which was strange. At one point they showed images taken by the James Webb space telescope, which were pretty, but only tangentially connected to Oz. The overall animations did not look very high quality. Additionally, there were AI generated images on some of the items in the gift shop, which was somewhat off putting. There was also a “children’s room” which was a dark closet with a video and a few toys. I would recommend this museum for the memorabilia, but not great for kids unless they like Oz and looking at items behind glass.
The immersion experience was outstanding . Loved all the memorabilia, cute glitter red shoe wine bottle holder. Did not know there were so many books.
Brought back many memories of enjoying this story in all its renditions. I especially enjoyed the short films of the making of the 1939 film.
If you are a Wizard of Oz fan, this museum is a must visit. There is SO MUCH memorabilia spanning from when the books were originally written (they even have first editions of the full series!) all the way to present day. There’s is an audio tour that will give you a ton of background information as well. The immersive experience as well which was fantastic. A word of warning though, if you or a member of your group have issues with motion sickness the immersive experience may not be for you, however that only a portion of the museum.
Great for historical reference and toy collector’s items. More suitable for adult historians and collectors.
As a Oz collector myself it was so awesome to see all the unique pieces and the way they are displayed is a work of art! Seeing a few items that were from the 1939 movie gave me chills! The Oz/Van Gogh experience is something special to see as well! I highly recommend going if you get a chance to be in the area!
I love the immersion room. It was fantastic I hear , all the different statues by all the different companies. the movies is just amazing. you become part of the van Gogh to the music. I would do it again.
A wonderfully enriching experience. Great for all ages. The inclusion with Van Goh was awesome.
We enjoyed this rare exhibition of Wizard of Oz memorabilia and the stories that went along with them. If you’re a fan of any kind, you must visit! We chatted with the private collector too, he has several pieces that are originals of letters and book editions. The immersive van Gogh exhibit is so cool with great music accompanying the show. Great for kids and people of all ages. Totally worth the ticket price🤩
Great experience lots of props and great immersive movie experience
Fantastic. Well worth a visit. The technology of the immersive portion is truly impressive. Price is reasonable
Very nice place to spend a couple of hours. Well organized and very extensive collection of many unique items. Very friendly staff.
