We had the absolute best time. Aubrie was so sweet, patient, and informative. Captain Michelle was so funny fun and taught us a lot also. Could not recommend this tour enough. We got so lucky seeing a bunch of manatees and babies nursing! 10/10

Had the most amazing day with Ed and Tyler on the boat having had a really fun, informative and great talk with captain Kim before we boarded. We could not have been looked after any better, we all loved her and are happy to adopt any or all 3 of them! We had a nervous swimmer who was looked after really well, my autistic son who was cared for, so adaptable and mindful of all our physical needs and even though I only lasted for half the tour as I was tired, the rest of the family were up close and personal with the most beautiful manatees and had the absolute best time, including the guarantee of manatee farts which was the first thing we encountered! We initially had trouble finding some but capt Ed made use of the on board drone and we were soon among them. There were snacks and drinks on board and a great Manatee Mocha to warm you up after the swim (does not contain actual manatee!) We also had the best images and videos thanks to the drone and Tyler taking shots throughout. At the end of the tour we were shown the photos and videos taken and had the chance to get some great keepsakes. This is a really great business who care massively about the manatees, the environment and regularly rescuing sick or injured manatees and are great at teaching you all about them, so knowledgable, a really caring company who were just the best. Free stickers are available for anybody who brings Roast Beef Monster Munch! We will definitely use Salty Sirens when we return to Florida!

March is not ideal but our captain and guide found two manatees and we spent a lot of time watching them. Everything was great.

We had an amazing experience snorkeling with the manatees! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The captain and in water guide were fantastic — they shared so many interesting facts about the manatees and kept the trip fun with jokes along the way. The heated cabin was such a welcome bonus on the ride back to the dock, especially after being in the water. They even provided hot chocolate and coffee to help everyone warm up, which was such a thoughtful touch. Truly the best customer service — you can tell they genuinely care about their guests and making the experience special. We would absolutely do this again and highly recommend them!

Everything was perfect. Our guide Krystal was amazing, so kind and knowledgeable and made sure we had the best experience. Our captain George was so helpful and found us a perfect spot! We loved it!

The guides were knowledgeable, respectful of the wildlife, and made safety and conservation a priority. They explained how important it is to remain passive observers — letting the manatees choose the interaction. That respect made the experience feel even more meaningful. Don’t miss a manatee tour with salty siren, they were so incredibly fantastic. The pictures they provided were amazing, our guide was wonderful, we saw manatees and spent a lot of time in the water. We never felt rushed or pressured. What an amazing experience, I just can’t say enough.

Captain Ed, Kim and Aubrie pulled out all the stops to make my bucket list absolutely amazing! To make sure my special needs son was able to get on a boat and watch the manatees was an experience we will never forget! The boat is heated and we were served hot cocoa after our swim. The underwater pictures and the drone videos were top notch! We could feel their heart in all they did for us to passively observe these gentle giants. We had the added treat of a certain manatee recognizing Aubrie and showing off for her by rolling in front of her. He also came up to her as if to say “see ya later pretty lady” as we were swimming back to the boat❤️

Captain Ed and our guide Aubrey were AMAZING!!! Professional, engaging, and knowledgeable are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe our experience with them today. Our daughter is very timid and shy by nature and they ensured she was comfortable at all times. Aubrey is the absolute sweetest woman and she went out of her way to make sure the kids had a great time. At the very busiest time or year Captain Ed navigated us past all the kayakers, boat tours, and hundreds of other groups to a private little area literally overflowing with these gentle giants that we had exclusively to ourselves. Our children will NEVER forget the first day of 2026!!!!

Salty Siren was an unbelievable experience. I had swam with manatees before with another company in another location but this was so much better. Kim was a great guide who was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and extremely helpful to everyone. She has a passion for the animals and for making a great experience. Did a manatee tour with Captain Ed and Tyler of Salty Siren Tours and loved every minute of it! Both of these guys were very informative and made the whole experience enjoyable with their funny stories and knowledge of the area and especially of the manatee. It was excellent, even though the water wasn’t very clear. We saw a few manatees, including a baby with its mother. I always felt comfortable and safe. Thank you Tyler, you did a great job!

We had an amazing time! Tyler was our guide helped us see multiple manatees. Our boat captain guided us to an alligator after we hadn’t seen any on our trip. Would highly recommend and come back if we were in the area!

Captain Kim, Captain Ed, and guide Tyler, were AMAZING. Even though the manatees were hiding, they took their time to make sure we found a few manatees to swim with! They were all very patient with our hyperactive toddler. Highly recommend 10/10!

We got to see 4-5 manatees! One of which was a baby! It was a great time. Captain Ed and Captain Jessica were awesome! They went out of their way to make sure we got a full experience allowing us to move spots when our first manatee swam away. Great experience. Absolutely worth the cost and would do again in a heartbeat! Would have stayed all day of possible!

I 100% recommend coming to Crystal River FL to swim with the manatees - and I 1000% recommend booking a tour with the group at Salty Siren! Captain Kim is an angel and such a wonderful advocate for these awesome animals! Not to mention our tour guide Tyler made the experience in the water amazing - we got so close to the manatees while in the water! After swimming, Captain Randy gave us some Manatee Mochas (coffee and hot cocoa) while boating around - We even saw a bottlenose dolphin swimming in the springs! Captain Ed got awesome drone footage of the dolphin fishing around in the area. The whole experience was great and we are so appreciative! A family get-away to central Florida with the highlight event being our youngest grandson (5) snorkeling with Manatees. Grampy talked to Captain Jessica several times in preparation for the trip and she was wonderful each time. She put our minds at ease and had us prepared for the event in every way. On arrival, the entire staff catered to every need and was professional and courteous. After a training session and a quick trip to the dock, Captain Ed got us to the Manatees in minutes. We had close, but respectful encounters with a half-dozen Manatees. There was also a Rescue operation going on. Exciting. Lots of great pictures and videos. My Grandsons will never forget it!

It was a great tour, the knowledge and expertise of the Jessica the captain and Tyler the guide is great, they provide lots of information of the environment, and it’s incredible how they could find the manatees on this season when the water is not clear, it was a great experience, the service was great too, the hot chocolate at the end of the trip was very nice.

My husband who has ALS and I were able to participate in a manatee encounter with Salty Siren Tour and charters in Crystal River, FL. They are a META organization which means their sole purpose is to educate, advocate, and support the survival of the manatee population and the manatee eco-tourism industry. The owners are such humble human beings, and they worked diligently to successfully get my husband to the manatees. The groups they take out are smaller so there was a lot of one-on-one time with our amazing tour guide Tyler. He was full of knowledge about the area, about the manatees and their natural habitat. They even offer a photo package. We could not have asked for a better manatee encounter. I highly recommend this experience for everyone and don't go anywhere but Salty Siren Tour and Charters.

First of all, communication was very smooth. We arrived on time in the morning at 7.45 pm. Tyler welcomed us, wasted no time and we started of with some information on tv. Wetsuits on and off we went. After an short drive, onto the boat where Captain Ed was most friendly and telling us about the place en the manatees. It was a chilly day, but the boat had an inside with heating. And snacks. And hot cocoa. Nice!!!! Ed and Tyler guided us like they were family. We could ask everything. Absolutely plus are the pictures taken by Tyler and the drone movies by Ed. An excellent way to keep all the nice memories and relive them. Thanks so much to the Salty Siren family for this remarkable trip. We will remember it forever. LOVE !!!

Randy and Megan made the experience feel very warm and welcoming like we were long time friends! The views were great and manatees were so cute. They were very knowledgeable about the animals and the area in general. 10/10 recommend!

We'd been meaning to do this for a while. We had five people in our group so I chartered the whole boat for a three hour trip. Nobody actually stays in the water for three hours so there was absolutely no rush. When we got out there was hot coffee and hot cocoa on the boat for us. Our guide Megan and Captain Ed were great. Ed did the drone photography and Megan did stills and videos in the water with her Go Pro. We picked a perfect day. There were plenty of manatees including two babies (aka "Nuggets"). The manatees were surprisingly playful. If we stayed still they would come right up to us to check us out. A number of us got manatee "hugs." We've seen manatees many times before because we live near Coffee Pot Bayou in St. Petersburg. But I had no idea how goofy and playful they are. If you are vacationing in St. Pete, it is an easy 90 mile drive on freeway just about all the way. The winter months are best for manatees but, in the summer, there also is scallop diving.

Guide, store personnel, and Captains- top notch and down to earth. I really enjoyed the extra efforts taken to give us the type of trip we wanted. We saw babies, babies feeding, giants, and teens...very cool!! We visited the free refuge, kayaked, and then went on swim- it really brought the whole experience together.

Captain Ed and in water guide Jess were absolutely amazing on our tour. We were a family of four with two children ages 6 and 2. Ed and Jess made us feel so welcome and really at ease in the water with the manatee. From start to finish we had the most amazing time! We were really lucky and got to spend some time with a baby manatee who was really friendly and was giving out kisses (a once in a lifetime experience). Jess was so great in the water capturing lots of amazing photos and videos for us. Captain Ed also got some amazing drone footage and pictures too. Our children were also really impressed with the snack selection and loved the hot chocolate on board. Overall it was a wonderful day, and I would totally recommend this experience. Captain Jess, and their in Water guide Marissa were excellent tour guides and photographers. We saw many manatees and truly enjoyed our experience. The boat was comfortable and there were plenty of snacks and water and the manatee cocoa was amazing.

Captain Ed and Guide Jessica were awesome! My 2 kids and I (ages 10 & 6) opted for the private tour and so glad that we did. We got to hang out with a mama and baby manatee out in Kings Bay and especially appreciated how directive Jessica was in making sure we had as much time as possible experiencing them. Another rad point of difference was Captain Ed’s drone which captured some really cool overhead photos and videos too! I also really appreciated how positively they interacted with my kids, especially my youngest who at one point decided that swimming with manatees was not her vibe. Jessica calmly took her back to the boat and she still had a good time (especially with the snack selection)! Highly recommend Salty Siren, it was informative, fun, and we felt well taken care of!

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We are a family of 6 and I love that the boat was capped at our size so the group wasnt overwhelming and we got individual attention during the tour. Captain Jessica was our in water guide and she was wonderful!!! She made sure we saw so many manatees including a mother and her calf. Captain Ed used the drone to get us in the right location which made the process much smoother and easier to locate. We opted for the heated boat which was 100% worth the extra fee- I highly recommend it if you are at all cold natured. I would recommend Salty Sirens to anyone and would definitely book with them again.

We had 8 of us going Feb 1st for a morning tour and we had an incredible time. I definitely recommend this team for a once in a life time experience. The photos and drone footage they took of our group was amazing and we will cherish the memories. We are already planning our next tour with them!
