Highly recommend this tour. We saw so many spectacular yachts and homes. The weather started a bit rainy but our guides rolled up window coverings and wiped seats and tables dry. Due to the small number of participants, we had the freedom to move around for the best viewing. Jason was a skilled and knowledgeable captain. We thoroughly enjoyed the running commentary about the history and owners of the homes.

On arrival at the pick up point we were a bit unsure if we were in the right place, but after double checking on the confirmation we were at the location as per Google Maps - there is nothing there - not even a sign to advise you are in the right place and the buildings either side of the street are dis-used - theres a car valeting company using the street for their business. We arrived early to be sure we were in the right place but then there is nothing really nearby to get a drink or sit down while you wait. Despite our apprehension the boat did arrive about 10 minutes before our booked slot. The crew were very friendly and helpful. There were other people that arrived to take the trip, but the boat wasnt full to capacity which was nice. There was a short safety briefing and an announcement about the free drinks that were included. These were served to your seat which was a nice touch and there was a good selection of drinks available/included. The tour was a really nice way to see Fort Lauderdale from the water. It lasted 90 minutes and the crew took it in turns to give the commentary. Coming from the UK we didnt recognise the names of some of the celebrity houses, but it was still interesting to see how the rich and famous live. Overall we really enjoyed the trip and would recommend it - especially with the included drinks.

Lovely crew, interesting facts and and overall very beautiful scenic route and fun tour. Love that it includes a complimentary drink for the trip that wraps up the whole experience. We really enjoyed the experience as a family and loved to do something different together.

Everything was good as advertised. Captain and tour guide did fantastic. Tour was just the right amount to of time. Drinks were a plus.

An interesting experience, and the commentary was provided by both the Captain and First Mate. The amount of wealth evident in both homes and boats is quite unbelievable. The tour left on time and returned on time - but the meeting location is at least 10 to 15 minutes a swift walking distance away, so leave plenty of time for that. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are provided. Overall a good experience.

We really enjoyed this cruise. The captain did an excellent job telling us about the homes, yachts, etc throughout the trip. Beverages were offered throughout the trip. I give it 5 stars for overall experience. I have no negative feedback.

Make sure you read where to meet The pick up spot is very strange and the address in Google Maps takes you to a building in the middle of the street.

It was a interesting morning at Venice Beach not really any type of entertainment unless you count the amount of homeless people and panhandler you can’t even sit down as the seats are taken up by the homeless and the smell is incredible. The prices are an absolute rip off unfortunately, we were not overly impressed, but it’s one of those places you just have to go to once is enough.

There are 2 boat tours in Fort Lauderdale that have the same name, Venice of America. One is a popular large tourist boat and one is a 23 seat much smaller boat. I accidentally booked the wrong one. I got on line to get directions, this info was only available after tour was paid for. There was no parking near, about 1/4 mile walk. There was no signage, no ticket booth. Don’t know if they had a ramp or not. This would not work as had a person with mobility issues. I called the tour operator and they were not concerned and said I should have booked the correct tour first. Very rude staff. I realize I was outside the cancellation window, but thought since I couldn’t use they would be more sympathetic. I called Viator and the person was very nice. She explained they do not issue refunds or credits. Viator is only a broker. So I lost 102.00. Just disappointed that no one cares! Policy apparently is not broken. I will schedule my own tours from now on and will not use Viator.

Boat was not the same as advertised. It was much smaller and although there was a roof it was open on the sides so no ac. The people who gave the tour were very knowledgeable.

This boat trip was awesome! Amazing homes and narration was excellent! I would old totally recommend this trip!!

This was a lovely super chill tour. I was fun seeing these huge mansions & hearing about their owners. Our guides were wonderful & I love a good pun! The complimentary drinks were a welcome touch.

Excellent tour! Informative and entertaining! Plenty of complimentary cocktails due to the small vessel. There is no seating area at the pick-up spot so plan appropriately.

Great presentation and humor of the boat tour. Very knowledgeable of the homes/yachts and who owned them and e t. Both tour guides were very pleasant and my husband and I were glad we booked the tour.

Everything went very smoothly. Our tour guides were very informative, fun and friendly. It did rain a little, but they put down the side panels and we all stayed dry.

The picture on your side versus the small open boat we went on were very different from each other! Please put the correct info about the boat. That being said, the two crew members were absolutely wonderful and took great care of everyone on board.

This was a very nice and informal tour! The views are amazing! Narration was great and you can’t beat two free drinks! Price was really reasonable! The only problem is there’s no parking so we had to get overcharged by a nearby garage! Other than that I definitely recommend!

Even though it was cut a little short due to the weather, our captain and crew made it a wonderful experience - plus...alcohol included!

This tour was fantastic. We had booked in advance for the 11.30m tour. We were the only couple who were on the boat, but the tour still took place. (There were 12 on the earlier tour and 16 on the later tour). The guide was excellent, engaging, interesting and funny. We were served 2 complimentary drinks on board, I had Stella Artois and my wife had red wine. Would I recommend this tour? Absolutely. It was great value.

Excellent, the weather at the time 6 pm was perfect, the 60 around minutes experience was perfect, small group 3 couples because it was raining all day long but ended at 5 pm, the staff excellent driver, helper and a raffle guy, drink included, I definitive recommend it

We had a wonderful time on the Venice of America Tour. The views of Millionaire’s Row were beautiful, and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. The tour staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A relaxing and enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend!

Venice of America was a great boat tour with fun guides! We had a nice relaxing time on the water sipping beer & wine while we saw & learned about some great houses and yachts on Millionaire Row!

The tour was exactly as advertised. No complaints. Offered generic brand soda, water, and alcohol. Didn't place any limits on drinks as advertised. Seats were wooden/metal with no padding but its only an hour ride so I didn't care. The boat was covered which was nice because it was a hot day. Had a good time saw the city from a different point of view and it was relaxing. Boat was steady and not bumpy.

No signage at pick up location but if you are at the dead end street you are in the right spot! The boat will show up! My preference would be to sit on the right side but both sides are great :-)

This was on the smaller of their two boats which i chose on purpose for a smaller group setting. The staff were very welcoming and very knowledgeable about all of the homes that we saw on the ICW. Good selection of drinks were offered although a top branded cola product would have been nice as i dont drink alcohol but dont like cheap coke either. This was an excellent tour and i would definetly recommend .

Great experience. The narrator was very informative. We loved it and they served drinks! Please get there early. The address where it starts is dead end street right up to the canal. Don't worry. That is the place where the boat comes to pick up everyone. There is no place to park along the street, so we drove about a block away to the Marriott resort parking garage.
