Tubing/banana Boat With Miami Watersports

The captain was funny and made sure we were comfortable.

You pay $30 here and $50 each when u get there for “fuel” so just be aware. Everything else was great. Second time getting on it. Last time was 5 years ago and i did not pay that much.

Online it says 39 dollars per person when we arrived they said it was 89 per person, thats false advertising so we decide to go somewhere else.

Ride was cancelled citing high wind. Miami watersports is refusing to refund money. Will never book again.

I give 2 stars only because it took us a quick ride. Minus 3 stars because the price was listed as $29, when we called, they also told us it would only cost $29, but when we arrived, it had already become $89, when we started asking why, they told us: "Okay, we can give you a discount and charge you only $69." They said they would take us on a ride for 30 minutes, but in fact they took us on a boat for 5 minutes and only took us on a ride for 15 minutes.

The trip didn’t meet expectations. The price was misleading, and the ride time didn’t match what was advertised. We rode for 15-20 minutes, not 30! The 30 minutes included the time to get to the spot and the return trip. Be aware that the actual cost is not $29 but $79-$89.

It was misleading. The booking says approximately an hr. You get there it’s 30min. You pay an additional $30 person when you arrive. And basically they say taken it up with Viator.

The one thing that i will never forget was that viator is dishonest. I ended up paying way more than was advertised. Should have paid with miami water sports direct. What a reapoff!

Worse rip off. Viator should be ashamed of offering this service. I hate the fact that you charge one price and daily to share the additional hidden cost

The view was awesome the ride was great. Pictures really not worth the money you spend for the activities all the pictures that the host took all look a like just at a different angle.

I bought the Banana Boat for myself and my 9 Yr old son for $29 each but when I showed up I was told there was a Extra $38.00 fuel + tax Per person I feel like that should have been told to me when I Booked Luckily I had the $ in my account but if I didn’t I would have had to leave and and Explain that to my son That isn’t professional at all it was misleading and No Refunds Either which isn’t right !

Awesome guide! Awesome ride! Read the fine print for gas surcharge. Knew about charge but didn't think it would be PER PERSON. Expect to pay more upon arrival.

I was a little disappointed that the Description on viator was a little misleading for the additional money I had ti pay pp which was more than I paid online. It he guy checking me in could tell I was frustrated but he remained professional and I explained everything. Capt Joel was amazing from start to finish. My daughter and I had a BLAST! He went as fast as we wanted and slowed down when we asked. It was a great experience and we will definitely do it again!

They were really nice, funny and friendly people. There are additional prices that is not listed on here when booking. For the banana boat and jet skiing we ended up paying 265 per person after additional fees, but we were only told that there is a $30 gas fee.

Joe was really fun and helpful, he really knew what he was doing. I would definitely recommend going on this banana boat ride.

They tried to hide the 25 dollars fuel fee. You pay it or you will get zero refund. It's like a scam and forced purchase. When you pay the second portion of the payment, they also let you sign another disclaimer so that you won't get the credit card company's protection. They require your photo, ID photo, ID number, and birthday, they will know everything about you even more than your bank. If you refuse, you will get zero refund. Then before you start, they let you sign a super long disclaimer about everything. They make you feel like you will court them the next second. This is a tourist business, and you are selling the experience. It is shameful you tried so hard to trick your customer.

I didn’t even get the chance to make it to the banana boat ride. I was going to vacation in Miami with my sister and I made reservations here for the banana boat. My flight got canceled 10 hours before we were to takeoff due to hurricane Ian, therefore I was never able to make it to Miami. I called and asked for a refund and explained my situation, but they told me no. They said they were strict on refunds and they could only give me credit to visit at a later time. I explained that there was no visiting at a later time because I live across the country. It’s not a simple drive upstate during the weekend. They again told me no and wouldn’t transfer me to any form of higher management. I’m very disappointed in the lack of customer service and understanding for our situation.

Joel really made our banana boat ride a blast, thank you. I do suggest wearing swimming googles so the splashing salt water doesn’t burn your eyes.

Being our first time in Miami we had an excellent experience in the banana boat Joel was an excellent driver very helpful 100% recommended

Horrible experience!!! Didn’t get to do the activities we wanted which would have been fine had he provided us with the discount that he said he was going to give us for having to for the banana boat instead of the speed boat. I was feeling dehydrated after being told to wait in the sun for over an hour and had asked for a water when I was told to either write a review or pay 2 dollars for the water. After writing the review (before even experiencing the activity that once again I did not sign up to do) I had to ask again 4 times before actually being handed the water. We waited over an hour and a half to start the activity as our instructor was sitting there and talking to his coworkers the entire time. This was by far the worst part of my boyfriend and I’s vacation.

Had an amazing time on the boat ride! Our captain James was great and made the experience super fun. Definitely recommend giving it a go (even if you're a little afraid of being in the water). As someone who isn't much of a swimmer, I felt safe the entire time.

It was a fun experience for my first time and great staff the boat went very fast and my favorite was when they did donuts in the water

We had so much fun the host was attentive and knowledgeable this was our 2nd time booking with them And I would do it again

We called to reserve we wanted to so the parasailing and the banana we were 15 in are group we paid over $2000 when we got there they told we had to pay$1400 more for tax's and gas i wish i had read the reviews before reserving here..! Next time we will just go to clear water they do walk in!

Ride tour was extremely Too short fast but man was it supper fast and very very short don’t sit in front or back if you don’t want to get wet

What a mess. Didn’t reserve our time. Put us on the fun boat instead. Said it was 20-25 min ride and it was only about 15 min. Not with the $$. Dumpy area.

We went to water sports and it was amazing!!! Its the best place to go for water fun, you have lots to do in one location worth every dollar!!! Special thanks to Anna Belle for accommodating us so we can enjoy the ride. You are amazing!! Definitely will come back again!

The worst customer service experience ever. My husband took the children and they wouldn’t allow him to get the prepaid tickets because card was not in his name (although we are married with same name). Ok that’s fine it’s policy… but then I don’t want to miss out for kids and offer to have my husband pay cash on the spot and problem solved right? Nope they refused to refund the card and took double payment. I said well if you said he has no authority to use my card for tickets then how can you not refund him? The response was he already filled out waivers! This made no sense and what an awful way to run a business!!! I asked if they could mail an SD card for pictures at least, and again they refused saying they don’t ship? Come one man I paid double for a service and you can spare a postage stamp!!!!!

Did this for the first time with some friends and it was really fun! We had Jason I believe his name was and he was awesome gave us a good ride turned us up!! Wish they provided goggles but other then that fun ride

Was with a large group so getting checked in was a hassle. Staff seemed very annoyed. But once on the banana boat it was a Fun experience! Jason was great, super helpful and listened to our requests. Took a fun of photos. Will definitely book with this company again.

Great thrills with Captain Jason. Had a blast on the banana boat, professional and friendly staff and check in. At $79 per person for less than 20 minutes of thrills too expensive.

The ride was everything. It most definitely brought out the big kid in me, and I do recommend getting photo package you will not regret it thank water sports for a great experience

The Crew: Langdon aka "LL" and Kyle was the crew for parasail. They were funny, likeable and professional.. Chris E and BumCity were my jet ski instructors. Chris was great helping all us newbies, BumCity displayed his knowledge of sports with humor and class. Tony aka "The Dad" of the crew lol, helped me get checked in and helped me spend my money offering me, a hour jetski, parasail, and Banana Boat... And the Host with the most "Fresh" (i think that was his name) made everyone feel comfortable directing us where to be! Overall a bunch of young kids working a summer job it looks like. Everyone was professional in the assignments they had. Now to the attractions: Jetski was by far the best thrill of the day. With the freedom to drive how fast, you want in wide open area. (the time goes fast, and i had my watch to make sure i didnt get cheated time). I was driving reckless but safe, therefore i left soaking wet (fun). Parasail was the next thrill. To be that high up was awesome. They dip you in the water which was a thrill too. Banana Boat was okay compare to the rest! Last Note: Make sure to TIP the youngster, they let it be known they work for tips, THEREFORE tip the kids! My name is Ollie aka Coach and i rate my overall experience a 5 star. Only suggestion i would give to the company is to provide a shuttle for those who visit South Beach ($$), cause i felt bad getting in my uber car with wet clothes!

The only thing I can say that it was good was the pilot, Kyle, he was a real gentleman. Other than that, I was already a bit afraid, plus the other two couples that were with us on the banana boat were completely childish, jumping and wobbling the banana boat even more. I almost fell off and after that I panicked and start crying. I don’t know how to swim besides we were wearing life vest. I started totally in a mood for having fun and enjoy the experience but the companies did not help me at all.

Pierre and Anuk were great! they made us feel so comfortable and safe. There was never a time where I did not feel 100% secure.

They charge you $40/person for gas when you get there which I thought was silly and the processing stage takes longer than needed to ride on a banana, but overall the ride was amazing. When you go, ask for the pilot that goes by the name of “James”. He was super cool and made the experience worthwhile.

Captain Noah is truly the real MVP!!! We had a blast! He paid attention to everything that was going on… even when it looked like I was about to fall off, he slowed down and made certain all passengers were good before he moved again! I would definitely do this again!

Definitely a thriller and Mr. Pierre was awesome, he was very concerned about our comfort and safety. He was also concerned about giving us the thrill ride of our lives, I recommend this activity and Mr. Pierre if possible.

This place is unprofessional. It almost ruined my vacation in Miami. They were rude and sarcastic, they have you stand in a long line just to tell you you have to fill out a waiver in another long line this place had me speechless.

The captain Pierre was AMAZING! he made sure we were safe but gave us a thrill and I loved that! Anouk from the front was awesome aswell. She helped out a lot and made sure we got great pictures. I had a list of names from the front desk but my paper got wet and I couldn’t read them but all the guys from the front were AWESOME! Very funny and down to earth. Friendly staff overall! They Made me and my fiancé feel comfortable lol. We enjoyed the ride and didn’t fall into the water. A MUST TRY!!

Customer service was great. Our driver was awesome. Wish the ride was a little longer. It’s a 15 minute ride and the time started as soon as he pulls away from the dock. Read fine print you have to pay an additional charge per person for fuel. For those nervous about it flipping it is impossible for that thing to flip. It’s a banana bus different from boat.
