We had an amazing time! Got a little bit of everything: mangrove tunnel, sunset, manatees, birds, and bioluminescent! Max was awesome and shared so much knowledge about this area and all the wildlife! Would do it again and definitely recommend!!

We had such a wonderful time kayaking with Ian! He was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife! Although we didn’t get to see any manatees or dolphins, we had a relaxing and enjoyable time!
This was my second time on this tour. Enjoyed it just as much! My wife said it was her favorite part of our Florida trip! Ian is a great guide...very friendly, explains everything in detail, and very knowledgeable about the nature in the area. We got to see a dolphin and beautiful sunset. My wife said she could have stayed out for several more hours! Thanks for a great trip!
We enjoyed our kayak adventure very much. Our guide James was well informed and shared information about the wildlife, plant life, and the Banana River. We were able to observe dolphins on this tour. We were repeat customers and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We would recommend this company and tour.
Sometimes, nature doesn't comply and you don't see everything, but this was a fun, peaceful evening kayak trip for us old farts. One manatee broke thru the water at a distance and another swam under my wife's kayak making her think she went over a sandbar and one alligator kept popping up and keeping a wary eye on us. It's mid November too, so we understood we would probably not see the bioluminescence activity. The sunset was fantastic though, so thank you Jack.
I had the best time kayaking!! I came to celebrate my birthday and had a blast. We saw a bunch of dolphins and a beautiful sunset. I would love to do this again!
Had an amazing sunset kayak session! Watched manatee and dolphins move through the water. They also took many photos and videos and shared with us for free!
We are a family of 4 -daughters are 18 and 20. We did tandem kayaks and Brooke was our guide. I was a little nervous - I’ve never kayaked Brooke was very patient and encouraging. We had a great time and think we found a new hobbie as a family. The mangroves were beautiful in a creepy way. We covered ourselves in bug repellant before our excursion. Only place we saw mosquitos was in the mangroves. This was such a fun and memorable experience. Thank you Brooke!
Went on the sunset tour amd it was fantastic. Had stunning views before we went through the mangrove tunnels which were amazing. Our tour guide, Jeff, was friendly, knowledgeable and full of the best jokes to make the tour light and enjoyable. Highly recommend even of you have no experience kayaking as Jeff is was patient with our son showing him all the tips and tricks.
Such a great experience! Our guide, Ian, was so knowledgeable and personable. The mangrove tunnels were stunning! I love that the guide takes pictures along the way! We will be back!
My daughter and I had the best time kayaking—saw manatees up close and even a dolphin! The sunset was stunning, and our guide, Chris, made it even better. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip feel fun and relaxed. Highly recommend!
This tour was a five star experience! It was so easy to book, to find the location to meet and of course the experience! Our tour guide, Chris was friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable of the area and also of the beautiful wildlife we toured. He was also an amazing photographer who took captured awesome photos of our tour! If you love kayaking, beautiful locations and exploring - book from them!
Ian, our kayaking guide, expertly led my wife and me through the winding Florida mangroves as the sky turned gold and pink with a stunning sunset. He pointed out wildlife and shared stories, but the real magic happened when a dolphin swam right alongside us, its sleek silhouette glowing in the fading light. Ian grinned and said, “He’s just here for the free show.”
Great Sunset paddle, even in 50 degree weather! We saw a dolphin and beautiful wildlife. Ian our tour guide was great! Would recommend
This trip was breathtaking and fun Susie, Chris, Dave, and Ian made the trip a blast. We saw dolphins, manatees, Comb Jellies, and even had a fun race. Thank you for the amazing experience I would recommend it heavily!
Michael Knecht was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about the bioluminescent species of jelly’s and algae and we even got to see some lagoon dolphins! We learned about mangroves and the different wildlife found in the area…..very cool experience! Worth every penny 😁
We were a group of 9 women ages 35-70, and we all had a wonderful time! Ian, our guide was amazing. We never felt rushed, and he pointed out so many things along the way. It was definitely a "bucket list" tour, paddling through the mangrove tunnels. I would definitely take another tour with Cocoa Kayaking again!
My wife and I went on this tour on our honeymoon trip and we had a blast. The views were amazing and we saw lots of manatees and dolphins. Our guides Jeff and Susie were really knowledgeable and tons of fun to hang out with. They went above and beyond and we had a great experience here. Highly recommend!
Very cool experience! Our guide Ian was great and very knowledgeable. We got to see several dolphins and the sunset was absolutely stunning. I would definitely book here again!
We had a large party of 13 people, of which more than 50% of us were children less than the age of 10. Despite all this, we had a really great time kayaking through the mangrove tunnels. Ian was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend a tour with him anytime. He made our party feel safe despite the large number of children in the kayaks while also keeping it fun and light. The cherry on top was the amazing flexibility of the cocoa kayaking team. We had to reschedule if you times due to unforeseen circumstances and they tried their very best to make it an easy process, even helping to mitigate the additional fees we, rightfully, incurred. We were very impressed by the whole experience and would recommend this group to anyone. My family and I are already discussing a return visit.
My friends and I did the 4:30 sunset kayak tour with Susie on Sunday, and it was awesome! We didn't have to worry about phones because Susie took a bunch of awesome photos of us and the great wildlife we saw (including dolphins and pelicans). Our group was full of longtime friends, and Susie definitely felt like part of the gang by the end of it. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.
Our tour was launched out of the same parking lot as the country club and city lot - nice clean area with bathrooms. Our guide Chris was excellent from the start. Friendly and laid back. We had a small group and a nice calm day so it was an easy paddle. Chris took us through mangrove tunnels and was taught us about the different tree types and wildlife that lives there. We were lucky enough to get up close with a friendly dolphin. Saw countless types of birds - binoculars could be handy if you're a birder. Our tour happened to be at the same time as a Falcon space shuttle launch, and Chris brought us to a great viewing point - very cool!
Tom was great! we all saw dolphins & a bunch of wild life. It was a blast! Tom was very informative & helpful. Would highly recommend the sunset tour!
A fantastic time seeing the wildlife during sunset. Chris was an outstanding guide. His local knowledge and passion for wildlife made the tour both fun and educational. 10/10, Highly recommended
This was a fabulous kayaking experience, suitable for any skill level. Our two guides were awesome and educated us about the mangrove area. While we did not see a manatee on our tour. we did see multiple dolphins and other wildlife. It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this company for anyone willing to take a paddle in hand.
Amazing Day. Thank you to our amazing guide Tom who was engaging and so knowledgeable. Also a huge thanks to Aurora who rebooked us at short notice after illness in our party. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.
This is our second time with cocoa kayaking first time morning tour this time sunset tour. The sunset tour offers you a bit of everything from day/sunset/bioluminescent. Great tour our guide Ian was very friendly and knowledgeable and had the group enjoying the experience together. Would definitely recommend Ian and Cocoa Kayaking and the sunset tour.
This trip did not disappoint! The forecast was calling for storms to arrive towards the end of our tour, and the water was a bit choppy. Our guide Tom planned our route to find calmer water and let us know we might need to turn back if lightning started. Our safety was his top priority. Thankfully the weather held out and we got to experience the mangrove tunnel and bioluminescence along with comb jellies. We also saw a dolphin. Tom was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. This was certainly a trip to remember. Thank you!
Had an amazing sunset tour through the mangrove tunnels. Our guide Ian was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and keen to share his love of the area with us. Dolphin in the distance, pelicans catching dinner, and some unbelievable scenery. Receiving photos that Ian had taken during the trip was the icing on the cake. Great experience from start to finish with Cocoa Kayaking! Highly recommended!
We were in visiting our Coastie and took the time to do a family sunset kayak tour. Our guide Ian was the best.We had an amazing time!
James was an awesome tour guide and went into great detail explaining all wild life and nature surrounding us. Loved it!
My family and I had an amazing time here in Cocoa Beach, and the tour we had with James was a highlight of our trip. He was very knowledgeable about the land and wildlife around the tour.
Such an awesome experience. Must do for anyone wanting to just go out on the water without getting too wet. James, our tour guide was a very personable, fun person to have a conversation with and seems very knowledgeable about the wildlife. 10/10 would do again!
Wow! I really don’t have adequate words for this special experience, but I’ll try. This is a twofer trip - you get mangrove tunnels AND bioluminescence. The tunnel experience is freaky, creepy, and awe inspiring. Such a special ecosystem. And the bioluminescence is best described by my 88 year old dad who said “ it makes me feel like a kid again!” It’s a giggly, artsy, unworldly experience. Joy, our amazing guide, made it all so fun and kept us intrigued with fun facts. She obviously loves this area and these tours. You must do this!
Great experience, friendly staff, good equipment. Family of 6, we had 3 tandem kayaks. We had experience with canoeing in the past, so our kids were totally fine and it wasn't hard at all - although some other people in the group we went out in struggled at first figuring out steering. Wove our way through the mangrove tunnels and also got some nice sunset views on the wider parts of the river. Our friendly guide, Cameron, was informative and helpful. They also take pictures so you don't have to, although we still took our cameras because they provide free waterproof dry bags and phone cases. Saw a couple dolphins on our way out and our way in, as well as many birds. We want to come back again - next time in the spring/summer for the bioluminescence tour.
Cocoa Kayacking made sure that our experience was one of a kind. Throughout the tour, we learned so much about Florida wildlife and even got to see dolphins and a baby manatee. I would recommend this tour to anyone. We had so much fun. Thank you for a wonderful experience Cocoa Kayaking !
This was my first time going Kayaking, I took a leap of faith and did the night option with Dustin and wasn't disappointed at all. Dustin was very inviting and taught me a lot about the bioluminescence lights, local wildlife, and trees. I would highly recommend the night option if you're looking to try something different. The trip was peaceful, and I got to try something new!
One of the best kayak tour of my life. Very scenic, informative and very well guided tour. Booking of the tour was very simple. All the questions were answered very politely. Nathan, the guide, is the best. Provided all the details of history, environment, marine life and the mapping of the lagoons. Guided, assisted and toured through various tunnels and toured us close to dolphin. Took very scenic photos and videos of sunset while kayaking. Great, memorable and unique lifetime experience.
My hard to impress 15 year old son said this was one of the "coolest things we have ever done".... and we have done a lot of things! This tour was amazing. First, they were very nice every time I called with questions. Once I decided on this tour, it was very easy to book. They gave good directions to the loading site as well. When we got there, our guide Nate had everything we needed - including bug spray. (The bugs were really only an issue before we got on the water.) He did everything for us except paddle! We dry loaded the boat and he pushed us into the water.. and pulled us out when we got back. It was very easy to get in and out of the boat. He gave good directions and lots of information about what we were seeing. What we saw was incredible! The sunset was beautiful. They even took photos of us in front of the sunset and emailed them to us the next day. The mangroves were amazing - even though they could be a little difficult to maneuver through at times - especially when it got dark. However, we all managed to get through. Nate gave good directions about what to do if we were separated or stuck. As for the bioluminescence - I have no words. It was really unbelievable to see. I had no idea that such things even existed - especially in Florida. Nate was great about showing us how to best experience it - even stopping to let us out of the boat if we wanted to swim in it. Today is my first day back at work and I have spent the day telling everyone who passes my office that they NEED to go do this (we are about 4 hours away). I really can't wait to go do this again. If you are in the area, do not miss this tour. It was a great tour to get in both the tunnels and the bioluminescence. They were a great company to go with as well.
Bioluminescence was so cool!!! Guide was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe and even had big spray!!! Kind of overcast evening so mangroves were pretty dark. Overall great time.
Plan your night tour around the new moon to guarantee darkness. We were lucky that the moon appeared late in the night sky. The luminescence was a spectacular event thst no human should go without experiencing. Very safe and manageable even if you are a bit out of shape. We were happy to have Nate as our guide. Friendly, informative and safety minded. All traits you want in a tour guide so request him!! No words or pictures do this event justice. We have done many things as a family of four Swimming with manatees, zip lines, etc). son is 14 daughter 16. each of us had our own kayak. Very manageable. Just do it !!
Nate was amazing! So informative and friendly. I have done this tour 3 times now, and it never disappoints.
Mark was an amazing tour guide! Our entire family was entertained and learned a lot about the wildlife. This tour is very interactive- touching jellyfish and petting manatees. So much to see and learn about! We will definitely be booking Cocoa Kayaking next year!!! Excellent customer service by the office as well...very accommodating and helpful.
We had such a fun time! Zach was a great guide and super knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw! We were also able to see a rocket launch which was pretty amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
Fun kayaking experience for the whole family! We did see a few dolphins, many small jelly fish, all kinds of birds and jumping fish.
Cameron was exceptional🙌🙌Very patient and knowledgeable about the wildlife. One of the best guides we have ever had over our decades of traveling!!!
We had an absolutely awesome adventure in a tandem Kayak with Cocoa Beach Kayaking. We recommend asking for our guide "Genevieve", who made the experience fun and very educational. Two notable highlights were a Manatee literally within inches of our Kayak, and also traversing the beautiful Mangrove Tunnels. We will definitely be back!
Such an awesome experience. Cameron was such a knowledgeable and fun guide. The wildlife was spectacular and even learned some pretty fun facts!
Easy to book and waivers were completed online so when we arrived the guide was ready to go. I didn't let them know up front if we wanted double or single kayaks so he was prepared with enough for us to go single or double and I appreciated that. Our guide had grown up in Cocoa Beach and was very knowledgeable about the eco system, wildlife...We saw a dolphin far off, lots of birds, but no manatees :( It was a great experience, easy paddle and good for people who don't kayak a lot. The guide paced the trip based on our level and ability to keep up with him and that made it enjoyable, not tiring. We look forward to visiting again and trying the bioluminescence tour! *hand sanitizer was provided, we were outdoors then entire time and did not wear or inquire about masks.
We just finished a tour with Marcus. Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute. We saw fish, birds, raccoons, and the glowing jellyfish. I highly recommend.
