The Island Tour

From the text messages before the trip, to the greeting when we arrived, to the local recommendations for restaurants and manatee viewing, we were treated like long time friends. Kinsey, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, safety conscious and determined to make our experience fun and memorable. We had a wonderful few hours on and in the water enjoying shelling and viewing dolphins and even a shark. It was so exciting to get to see all of the ocean life. Walking the beach on Beer Can Island gave us a break from paddling and some beautiful scenery. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Our guide made it an amazing experience! I would 100% recommend to other people. We would be more than happy to come back!

Ben and Kinsey were fantastic tour guides! They were knowledgeable about the area, the marine life, and the ins and outs of successfully operating a kayak. They literally thought of everything!

This was a great experience. I’d highly recommend it if you want to see beautiful beaches and wildlife. Lots of beautiful shells. Kinsey was our guide he had a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable about wildlife being a native.

My family had an amazing time kayaking and the guides took us to great spots. We saw dolphin, manatee, and other critters in the gulf. They were helpful and had great energy. I would do it again if we ever make it back to AMI.

Lachlan was an amazing guide from the time we arrived we was sure to let us know that we was going to postpone the start due to a small shower to make sure it was safe to hit the water. He went beyond explaining the different. Types of conchs and shells even saw a couple of spidercrabs, we followed a manatee ( from a distance of course ) and its young swimming upstream. Definitely was a trip to remember.

This was a great trip, me and my family was so happy and they felt so comfortable and safe. Colin was an amazing tour guide. Any one who does these excursions should book with him. He is so kind and helpful. Thank you a lot Colin for the wonderful experience!

The tour as great! Very informative and our guides were awesome. Lots of information about the area and wildlife on land and in the water. We had the opportunity for photos, collecting shells, snorkeling, and we even saw dolphins. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time on our island tour today!!! Lachlan was an amazing guide—friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable! He went out of his way during our snorkeling portion to find sea critters for us to admire!! And he was so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife! Highly recommend!!

We had such a fun experience with Jackson! He was knowledgeable about the sea life and island. We loved snorkeling and were able to see and hold numerous sea creatures. During the Island tour we got to kayak alongside a Manatee:) Jackson was personable and kept my daughter entertained. He kept everyone on time, but we never felt rushed. 100/100 would recommend! Great experience and memories to take home with us 💙

Our guide was calm, communicative, and patient, and I felt safe the entire time. He explained why the currents through the channels were so strong and did a great job helping us navigate the area. The snorkeling isn’t your typical deep, blue-water snorkeling because much of the experience takes place around the sandbars. The currents were too strong for us to freely swim along the surface, but we were still able to get in the water, look beneath the surface, and find all kinds of little marine creatures, including sand dollars, sea slugs, and more. It was a different kind of snorkeling experience, but still really fun and interesting—especially getting to explore the sandbars and see what was living just below the water.

We had the best time. The tour guide were great! One of the best experiences we had! Highly recommended

This island adventure was so fun! Be ready to row a canoe and get a workout! Blaze, our guide, was very friendly, knowledgable, and an excellent tour guide. We saw crabs, sea slugs, hermit crabs, and so many live sand dollars! The bird watching was awesome, we saw herons, pelicans, egrets, white ibis, and cormorants! Make sure you wear your sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to shield you from the sun as you canoe to the sand banks to snorkel! I highly recommend this adventure! Make sure to tip your guide! Well worth every penny!

The kayak island tour was the favorite thing we did on Anna Maria. Definitely worth the money. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions we had about wild life and the island. We will definitely book this again!

This was such an amazing experience! I went out with the morning Island tour and the waters were crystal clear. We snorkeled and saw so many crabs and little creatures. And then we paddled over to Pine Key and swam in those clear waters and saw where the turtles are beginning to nest. On our way back, we saw a manatee come out of the water to say hi! It was all around a wonderful experience if you are adventurous, fit and able to paddle a few miles in ocean water, and looking to explore and swim in beautiful water! The tour guides were knowledgeable and made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy. Highly recommend booking this tour!

We had an amazing time! It was one of our favorite things we done. The guides were really helpful and patient. We seen dolphins and a baby sea turtle. One of our guides Calvin Jonah gave us some food recommendations and lots of helpful information for our trip. We definitely recommend.

The Island tour was a lot of fun. Our whole family had a great time. Jackson and Emmett did a great job with our group and made it a lot of fun.

Well organized tour and the guide was very knowledgeable

Was very windy which was nobody's fault. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Saw dolphins and a couple manatees. Would have been great if the water was calm but still an enjoyable experience!

Our experience was great with Florida Blue Adventures Coastal Kayak Tours. We first booked for Sunday for my family of 8 the night before and then the day of we adventured out and the sirens went off to head back to shore lightening storms. Tommy was amazing in helping reschedule and refund. We rescheduled for 4 of us due to family going back on Monday. So 4 ppl were refunded. We went back on Tuesday and Lachlan and Blaze were very helpful and kind tour guides. It was a wonderful experience. They made sure EVERYONE in the group got a chance to see everything such as sand dollars crabs dolphins manatees hermit crabs conch shells mangroves and so on. Made sure everyone knew what to do and were prepared for the trip. Great customer service. Equipment was well cared for and clean. This tour is great for all ages.

Caulin was an amazing guide. Informative, fun, and hilarious. Very prepared and always on the look out for wildlife. Would do again and recommend Caulin to anyone!

We really enjoyed our island adventure. Both young men were very knowledgeable and patient. We had a range of ages in our group and they did very well with everyone. Ben’s crew definitely knew what they weee doing.

This was an amazing experience! From interaction with Ben keeping us up to date on weather delays etc and booking us for another calm day. We got there early and he pointed out the manatees for us . Logan and Blaze were very awesome too- all their help and knowledge made this trip even better especially for someone who has never kayaked. The tour is perfect length to find all the things in the sea. The water was a little blurry but that’s to be expected with weather. I would most definitely book this tour again when I come back it’s well worth the price ! Thank you for making this a great experience trip.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience with Florida Blue Adventures. Plenty of opportunities to see wildlife and what the island had to offer. We have been on a few different excursions in the past and this was by far the best! The staff were so kind and helpful. They also gave us so much info on the island and its creatures!

10/10!!!!! It was so perfect and so fun!!! Our tour guides were Jonah and Andrew and they were THE BEST! So funny, so nice, and put up with our loud mouths.

The tour was great! Weather was suboptimal but the crew was able to accommodate us for our snorkeling adventure. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Caulin, was amazing!

Highly recommend! Owner called us two days in advance to discuss the possibility of storms for the day we booked. He offered us an alternate time for the day prior to and we are so glad we accepted because there was a terrible storm for the original booking date. The guide, Jackson, was knowledgeable, kept safety a priority, was always trying to help us find wild life. We had a blast!

Guides were friendly and professional and always assisting as needed with mounting the kayaks. It was the first time kayaking with my family and they had a great time making unforgettable memories with finding all the sand dollars and the huge conch shells. We did this tour with myself (43), my wife (48), our son and his friend (17) and our daughter (8). It was so much fun! Allie was our guide and she was AMAZING!!! We saw lots of dolphins, found whelks and spider crabs while snorkeling, and had some great photo spots! Definitely bring lots of water and I would recommend being in at least decent shape. It was quite the upper body work out, but so much fun! Would definitely do it again! If you book this tour, make sure to ask for Allie!!!!

We had so much fun! Saw lots of wildlife and learned a lot. Our guide was very thorough…the best!

We had an amazing time!!! There were 5 of us (my wife and I, two teenage boys, and an 8 year old girl). Allie was our guide and she was the BEST!!! She paddled our daughter around and was super patient and kind! We saw lots of dolphins and found several huge whelks and even a few spider crabs. It was an upper arm workout for sure but we took lots of breaks. Would definitely recommend this tour and would absolutely recommend asking for Allie!!!!!!

We were unable to go (due to far location), but received excellent customer support from Tommy from Florida Blue Adventures. We were also given a suggested kayaking spot that was closer to our location which we will be going to. Tommy was super nice and helpful :)

Absolutely loved our morning kayak/snorkeling! Lockland and Collin were great & made the excursion 1000% worth it. The tour was a good amount of time & we even saw a manatee. The prices are worth it. Would love to go back!

Our experience was very nice!! Our tour guide was very informative and very knowledgeable about the area and ocean life. You will canoe out to a sand bar, explore nature, canoe to another island and get to see a beautiful beach. Highly recommend

It was an awesome experience. From the start to finish it was very enjoyable adventure. Our guide Logan was very knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Emmett was very helpful too. Highly recommend. We get to see manatee, dolphins, crabs, conch shells and sand dollars.

My 12 year-old son and I went on a kayak tour to visit a few sandbars located in Anna Maria Island. Our tour was called the island tour our guides were named Collin and Jack. There was good communication prior to the outing. They only hiccup was finding them to begin the tour. I was told to park at the beach and look for a red trailer, butthey failed to mention they were at the boat ramp. I could not see the red trailer from the road, and so I drove past the boat ramp looking for the red trailer. But, we eventually figured it out, and they patiently waited for us to arrive so all was well. Keeping the kayak going with my son was more difficult than I anticipated, I think because we were fighting the natural waves and current of ocean. I had a previous shoulder injury, and I began experiencing pain about halfway through the trip. My son and I were not doing a great job of keeping up with the group, but both guides were extremely patient with us and helpful. The two guides were kind enough to to take turns attaching our kayak to one of theirs to help us get to where we were going. We were able to hop out of our kayaks at each sandbar, location, and snorkel around to find all of the goodies the Ocean has to offer. They provided snorkel equipment, however, my son and I had our own. We found sand dollars, giant spider crabs, large lightning, and conch shells, etc.. They gave us a little bit of background in history about the area as we were kayaking, which was nice. Overall, I would say it was a great trip! And if I knew I was not going to have shoulder pain, I would definitely it again!

It was a beautiful day. The staff and our guide, Allie, were all so kind and informative. We had a great time. Got to see some dolphins and spider crabs. Allie gave us some cool fun facts on the spider crabs as well.

Awesome tour. Guides were so engaging. Saw manatees, crabs. Kayaked to a few spots. Secluded beach and sandbar. Colin and Jack were great hosts. Fun, active and super interesting. Highly recommend! We were traveling with a 7 year old and he loved it tooand was fine in the kayak!
