Christine was great! She was a great hostess who was knowledgeable, pleasant and very friendly! We loved learning about the history while visiting a number of great places.

Colleen went above and beyond sharing the culture of Sarasota with us. She included art shops, historical sites, and recommended theatres. I don’t want to give away any surprises but it was fantastic!

Christine did a nice job relating Sarasota history and culture. The restaurants visited had delicious food and fun staff. Nice three hour introduction to downtown Sarasota.

My sisters and I enjoyed our food tour with Colleen. She was friendly, personable and offered great tips. The walk along with many stops made the walk doable for most. Great the restaurants we visited were prepared for our group. Colleen took care of the meals costs and tourists paid for their drinks. We saw many great venues along the way.

Our tour guide was Colleen, she was excellent. It was very nice to walk around learning about downtown sarasota and its history and not just being about food tasting. She made the tour that much more interesting. We had samples from three restaurants, Toasties was my favorite. I am glad I took this tour.

I have been on Viator food tours in many cities here and in Europe we usually have a great time and love experiencing all the new foods. this tour was the worst one we have ever been on. in the description, it says 5 to 6 restaurant stops. We only stopped at three. The first restaurant was called brick it was a barbecue restaurant. The food was disgusting and we sat there for 40 minutes because Christine the tour operator said she wanted us to sit down and talk to each other. I did not pay to talk to my sisters. also, we were told afterwards that that was a restaurant that was closing down, which made no sense.. next we went to Classico which is a good Italian restaurant. we had meat, balls and bread and a very hard ravioli. The third step was a dumpy hole in the wall called Patrick’s. The food was disgusting which they served family style. We had three chicken tenders for seven people to share. We also had three meatballs to share with seven people. There was also ceviche, which was gray not one person touched. It. Not only was the food terrible but we had just had meatballs at the previous stop. It didn’t make any sense. by far the worst Viator tour I have ever been at.

Great way to spend the day in Sarasota! Had a wonderful food tour and was able to taste great food at restaurants we haven't been to. Christine is an excellent tour guide who shared so many fun facts about the city. Loved learning about the history and art influence of Sarasota! Definitely recommend.

This is one of my best walking tour Christin our tour guide was wonderful. She pointed out amazing and interesting attractions. Also, the food was excellent.

I always go for a food tour in cities visiting and this one did not disappoint. My guide Colleen was very knowledgeable about Sarasota and the restaurants picked (Toastique, Classico and El Comida) were excellent choices. The food was delicious. Our group also did an unexpected art activity on the tour. I would highly recommend the tour and Colleen.

She learned so much about the city’s history during this tour and could not stop talking about how much she loved it afterwards. The food was great, and there was plenty of it. Come hungry!

This food tour was amazing! The food was such high quality. The guide was informative and fun. Her knowledge of the city and the businesses was top notch. It was our 45th anniversary and at the last stop she surprised us with a couple of desserts. What an extraordinary treat. I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful way to spend time downtown with couples and friends! Christine, our host, was full of interesting history of the area which included stops at multiple restaurants. She shared info about downtown and the restaurants. Frankly, I’m thinking it’s an opportunity for downtown restaurants to entice people to enjoy whether local or just visiting. We had a small group, only 4 of us. Our tour guide Christine was fun and gave us tons of info about Sarasota’s history as we walked around downtown. We had 3 food stops (Brick, Classico, and Comida) and they were excellent choices. Food was delicious and we were completely stuffed after the second stop, but still managed to enjoy the third. Christine pointed out several other interesting restaurants that we’d love to try sometime. We learned a lot of things we didn’t know and had fun. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

Christine gave a fabulous overview of the Sarasota food scene, culture, and history. Time flew by and it was great getting to know Sarasota from a local. Christine is wonderful—very kind, inclusive, and knowledgeable.

We took this tour on a weekday with three generations of family members, ranging in age from 17 to 74. There was some walking but it was flat and manageable without health issues. We ate at 3 restaurants and got a lot of food. Everything was very tasty. Christine, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of history. We learned about various art installations, philanthropists, the city's founders, and so much more! I'm really glad we booked this tour. Everyone in our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed it!

Christine was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did we get three wonderful food restaurants on this tour, her knowledge of the history of Sarasota was outstanding! I cannot recommend her enough!

I am leader of a group of women from Venice and we try to find new and unusual things to do that also include food. We had 24 women over two days that did the tour. All 24 enjoyed the tour and food! Everyone remarked that they were glad they did this tour. We learned a bit about Sarasota and enjoyed some new and exciting restaurants that we had never been to. Thank you Christine!

The history presentation was very informative and downtown Sarasota is beautiful!! I have been on food tours in the past for the same $ amount that included a drink paired with each sample; this tour did not include any beverages outside of water. Also, only 3 restaurants were featured; for the cost of 110+/person I would have liked to have had another added. All of the food was very good with the exception of one of the restaurants. We were served very dry tacos - I did request salsa, which helped a bit. Overall, our party of 9 was not impressed.

The Sarasota downtown food tour was exceptional. Christine was an excellent tour guide and shared her knowledge of Sarasota’s history in an engaging way. The restaurants we visited were all scratch kitchens and the food was delicious.

A really good food tour coupled with a walking tour through historic downtown. Our guide Christine called out many interesting sites, artworkand history. Only reason not a 5-star is we weren't crazy about the food selection our 1st stop but the food at the other 2 stops was great....surprisingly good size tasting portions too.

The guide got on us because we were five minutes late even though I had texted her we were stuck in traffic. The main thing that she wanted us to know was that Sarasota was a wealthy district and they had a lot of restaurants we did not care for the tour or our tour guide

We had an amazing time visiting the sights and sounds of the downtown Sarasota food tour. Our guide, Christine told us about the downtown history, culture, arts, and an added bonus was the delicious food we tasted. A perfect outing for our visiting guests from Illinois. Will definitely do this tour again!

Very organized and interesting. Christine was a great guide! There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. Sarasota is rich in the arts culture.

Great food. Very fun tour operator. Group of four cousins, in 30s, from out of town. They loved the novelty of different restaurants, had a great time!

Christine was knowledgeable about the area and when she didn't know the answer to a question, which wasn't often, admitted that she didn't know but would find out. The eating stops were quite good and the portions were generous. A nice way to get to know a little about downtown Sarasota.

The food choices were varied and tasty. We lucked out having a group of lively ladies who made this more fun. Damon was very nice and he definitely had some knowledge of the area, though I was expecting a little more structure to the presentation. His presentation seemed very haphazard.
