Very disappointing experience with Viator! We were informed that our trolley tour driver would be 30 minutes late. After waiting an entire hour with no driver showing up, we finally had to leave and missed the tour completely. What makes this even more frustrating is how difficult Viator has made it to obtain our $58 refund for a service we never received! Customers should not have to jump through hoops to get their money back when the tour operator fails to deliver the service promised. Based on how this has been handled, I would think twice before booking through Viator again.

Daniel, our driver was fun and so knowledgeable. We had a great time. We also on his advice went to mcmullens and had smoked mullet, so good! Would go again if in the area, both the restaurant and trolley ride.
Very interesting stories about St Petersburg. We went through many different areas of the town and heard about how they were started. We went past many art galleries and saw many murals. I felt like we really saw and got to know the city. We really enjoyed the tour.
Wonderful tour of St Petersburg! We had a nice stop at a distillery, too. Great way to learn about the city . Only problem were a bunch of old ladies. Talking so loud that you could not hear the audio. I had to move up front to hear the audio!
For me, it was nostalgic ride through Saint Petersburg that I first encountered when I moved here! Reminded me of all the sites that I spent a lot of time traveling to, but no longer do because of the the overcrowding and the so-called updates in our fair city! It made me both happen sad to see those locations that I used to hang out in frequently unfortunately, Saint Petersburg has been named a great place to live in this country, and everybody appears to want to live here. It is no longer the paradise it used to be!
It was only mentioned once that water was available in the back of the trolley. Also, there was a stickey substance on the railing in the back seating area of the trolley that literally took the skin off of my and my wife’s arm!
Bring a fan or something to fan yourself as it gets a little warm! Driver was knowledgeable and super funny!
Our group took a private tour and it was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed learning about St. Pete and its history. The tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful with our mobility-challenged participants. The stop at the brewery was an added bonus. Would highly recommend tour to others.

Covered some interesting area in St. Petersburg. Two notable annoying things that happened. 1) Bus driver talked at the same time of the audio most of the time. 2) Bus driver sped over two really tall "hills" in the road and announced at the last minute, "roller coaster". I was in the back and am prone to motion sickness. Then she did it again! Nina overall is too reckless to be driving a trolley.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Would recommend. Tour was 2 hours and took us to some unique spots. Her name was Nina.

We actually weren't able to go due to illness. I assumed we would just loose the tickets. To my surprise I received a phone call and was told we could reschedule our trip. I am very impressed and can't wait to take the tour in a few weeks.

The trolley experience was awesome. We were able to see and hear about St. Petersburg that we never knew anything about. The trolley driver was great and made it an enjoyable ride. The family definetly enjoyed it. We will book another tour.
We recently bought a home in St Pete and wanted to know more about our new city. Our driver Richard was courteous and very knowledgeable. The tour took us to so many interesting places (including St Pete distillery) that we will circle back and visit. A cooler with water and beverages was included. Fell more in love with St Pete after this tour.

Review of Star Trolley – St. Petersburg, FL I booked a two-hour city trolley tour with Star Trolley and was extremely disappointed by how unprofessionally everything was handled. The trolley was 45 minutes late, leaving everyone who had paid for the tour standing out in the cold in a parking lot, wondering if they were ever going to show up. Despite making multiple phone calls and sending text messages to the company, no one ever responded to confirm whether the tour was still happening. When the trolley finally arrived, the driver told us he hadn’t even known about our scheduled tour and was working on a broken fence when his boss called to tell him there were people waiting. If I hadn’t kept calling, it sounds like the tour might never have happened at all. I’ve heard from others that this kind of situation has occurred before and that they were at least offered free vouchers for another tour as an apology. We received no such consideration—only an excuse. Even though the driver extended the route to give us the full two hours, the late start threw off everyone’s plans and made for a frustrating experience from start to finish. It would have been nice if management had simply returned a call or message to explain the delay, but that courtesy was never given. Overall, I found the company’s communication and professionalism extremely lacking. I do not recommend Star Trolley for any tours and will not be using them again

Got a good look at St. Pete, and saw interesting parts that we would not have seen on our own. We don’t drink, so spending 20 minutes at a distillery was really not necessary.
We had a wonderful time. The tour was just the right amount of history and sites!! It was great to see so much without the hassle of driving the route ourselves. Our driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!!
Similar to the free Looper tour but a bit more in depth. They provide cold waters & beers and make a stop at a distillery. Good way to start off a trip here & get the lay of the land

Felt like we saw a lot of the city. Each area was well described. We liked having the TV monitor has a visual aid supporting the audio portion.
My mom and I did the tour and enjoyed the 1 hour 45 mins of relaxed sight seeing. It’s not live narration but covered what we needed. They stopped for 20 mins at a distillery for bathroom / whatever you need break. I recommend. The parking area was easy and we walked around after.
Great way to check out St Pete’s. Distillery stop was great. Best Bloody Mary ever, definitely get one, or two. Also, don’t forget to use the pads to sit on. You’ll thank me later:)

Our driver/guide was very informative and pleasant. As st. Petersburg residence, we were surprised by the many things we had never seen. We will be passing the word onto all of our residence at Point Brittany.
Very organized, comfortable and a friendly, knowledgeable tour guide We saw so many parts of the city which were new to us and a little hidden as well.
Start location was difficult to find - need larger sign at driveway. Prerecorded audio and video content was professionally done; driver didn’t have to add much content. History of African Americans was included and appreciated. Water would have been nice, as it was very hot and the trolley was not air conditioned. Tour was good for the cost.
The tour was wonderful. Our driver was flexible. Scheduling was easy. Guide was informative. The only downside was that the air-conditioning is extremely weak. We had to keep the windows down to cool off in the breeze -- but that makes for an authentic FL experience in the Sunshine City! Our tour was in July. I'd strongly recommend it October to March.
