My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time on our food tour with Jimbo! He was an amazing tour guide who made the entire experience fun, enjoyable, and memorable. His personality, knowledge, and passion made the tour extra special. The food was delicious, and we loved getting to experience the local flavors while learning more about the area. Jimbo made us feel welcome from beginning to end, and it was truly a pleasure spending the day with him. We enjoyed every moment and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had a tremendous time on the food tour hosted by Maria. Maria was full of energy and had a great personality. We had 5 stops on our tour and they were all wonderful. The general managers at some of the establishments met with us and gave us some history behind their restaurants. We’ve been on several food tours and this rated high. Good job!

This was an amazing food tour! All the food was delicious, we got the drink package and it was totally worth it. We got to meet many of the owners and managers and hear their stories. Each stop was unique and represented something special about St. Pete, all local establishments. The best part was definitely Jimbo. He made it fun by telling us fun facts about St. Pete and then having a contest at the end to see who remembered the most. I still can’t figure out how my husband remembered more than me! Jimbo taught us a chant that was fun and asked us questions about us. He also gave us great suggestions about places to eat on Clearwater Beach which we would never have known about. We’ve been on many food tours, both in the US and abroad and Jimbos stands out for the food and fun. Don’t miss this and schedule early in your vacation so you can use his suggestions!

Jimbo is the definition of passion. He truly loves what he does, and cares about each and every person on his trips. He got to know each of us and cared so much about our experience. He was very sweet, kind, welcoming and funny! We had a blast and Jimbo is in the right field for sure! Highly recommended I wish I could give him an even higher rating than the 5 stars

My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of joining Jimbo’s Jumbo Food Tour in downtown St. Pete for his birthday, and it was hands down one of the BEST experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we met Jimbo, we knew we were in for something special. He’s fun, welcoming, totally authentic, and just an all-around blast to hang with! He knew exactly what to order at every stop (trust me, this matters) and introduced us to some of the most incredible bites we had on our trip. On top of that, we got to chat with the owners and staff at each location, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and meaningful. Each restaurant came with its own story, and you could genuinely feel the passion behind both the food and the people. And we learned so many interesting facts about St. Pete along the way (in a fun way not like a history lesson or museum tour)! I’d also like to note that I make it a point to take food tours wherever I travel: California, Denver, Puerto Rico, and even India—and Jimbo’s easily ranks among the most memorable. Why? Because of him. His personality, energy, and passion elevate the entire experience. The most important part - the food. We loved every bite at every stop!I won’t spoil the menu, but here’s a great example: my boyfriend and I had actually eaten at one of the restaurants the day before on our own. It was good, but nothing special. The next day, we returned with Jimbo, followed his recommendation, and it completely changed our minds. We were blown away by how much better the experience was with the right dish. By the end of the day, we were genuinely sad it was over. This food tour easily became one of the highlights of our trip! Next time we’re in town we’ll be coming back to Jimbo for another tour - maybe to explore Clearwater or anything else he has to offer. You can’t go wrong booking anything with Jimbo! Jimbo was a great local tour guide who knew what he was doing! He takes you to some really great local spots and also tells you about their history. We even got me to meet some of the restaurant proprietors, and they seemed to have a great relationship with Jimbo. Not only is the food delicious, but we also learned about the history of St. Petersburg Florida. The chant was a big plus, too. I could not recommend Jimbo enough and would definitely take one of his tours again!

This was a fun tour that provided a lot of great street food! It was a bit disorganized and seemed unplanned in some spots.

We had a GREAT TIME with Jimbo. The food was amazing and lots of it. We started with a smash burger that was absolutely amazing. Yeah Next we had a killer shrimp taco. Hella good! Then we had the best penne ala vodka I have ever had. Plus beautiful Margarita pizza and a glass of wine. You would think that was enough… nope there’s more We finished up with fresh poke bowls made from local food ingredients and then desert of ice cream with mixed in cereal, pop tarts Nutella or anything you want. Crazy good! These were all out of the way place we would not have found ourselves. We do lots of offs tours and this one was amazing. And Jimbo himself was a blast. Super nice. A foodie himself and lots of trivia and history about St Pete. Don’t miss it if you are on St Pete. Just well done all around and well worth the time and money!!!

It was a GREAT way to see some of the places I don’t normally go to in St. Pete. On occasion, I’ll get together with some friends for dinner in St. Pete but we are always going based on someone’s recommendation and rarely “find our own cool little spots”. This tour took us to places that weren’t even in the radar, but were FANTASTIC! We will be heading back down soon for the afternoon and will likely hit a couple of the places from the tour next time! JIM WAS GREAT - fun and energetic, kept folks engaged by playing “local trivia”, and even kept everyone smiling with his “secret” chant. Wasn’t too sure what to expect when we signed up, but wildly exceeded expectations.

This food tour was awesome! I went with close friends and really enjoyed the sights and tastes of St Pete. We tried food from 4 amazing restaurants (smash burger / taco / pizza / poke bowl. Then capped it off with an amazing ice cream spot. The best parts were doing trivia, learning a fun new chant, and connecting with some new people who created a wonderful experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a great time to try new things, explore new areas, and try some great food! 5 stars!!

What a wonderful surprise. My wife and I decided to give this food tour a try, and it did not disappoint! Our host, Jimbo, is a friendly, full of life type of a guy, that keeps the fun flowing throughout the tour. The first stop on this particular day was at The Green Bench Brewery. Food is offered via the Green Bench food truck located on property. The group was offered their soon the be famous Smashburger. Perfect way to start the day. The burger was tasty and cooked perfect. The next stop was Red Mesa Marcado, just a few steps from the brewery. Street shrimp tacos were on the menu for us. Another quality bite. A short walk east lead us to our next stop, Bavaros Pasta & Pizza. We had a taste of penne ala vodka and a small bite of pizza. The sauce used for the pasta was worth the trip alone (they also sell jars of it, take one home). The fourth stop was a trendy Asian fusion type of joint called Pacific Counter. I had the tuna poke bowl and it turned out to be my favorite bite of the day. You'll want to come back for another some day. Our last stop was a new concept ice cream place called the Cereal Bar. The take your favorite breakfast cereals and mix them up with the ice cream of your choice in their special mixers. A wonderful treat and end of the tour. You will not leave hungry or entertained.
