St Petersburg Distillery Tour And Tasting Experience

We had so much fun for my friend’s 60th bday weekend. We wanted to visit the distillery and saw they offer a tour and tasting. We enjoyed the informational tour and conversation with Justin. He was lots of fun, a wealth of information and recommended some nice cocktails. We were sad we missed the opportunity to go to the speakeasy (not open on Sunday) -so he did our tasting in there. It is GORGEOUS. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great experience at St. Petersburg Distillery! I took my husband for a tasting, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Justin was absolutely amazing! He made the tasting fun and took the time to give us a tour of the distillery and the speakeasy, which was such a nice added touch. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Matthew was an excellent host for the visit, very knowledgeable and gave good advise on spirits to buy and how to taste them! The tasting board in particular was an eye opener We bought $250 worth of spirits, so clearly all was excellent!!!! Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic time on this distillery tour! Our guide Matthew was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the craft. It was fascinating to learn about the distilling process from start to finish, and the tasting was a great way to experience the different flavors and styles. The facility was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a whiskey or vodka enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience, I highly recommend this tour. My favorite cocktail was the Espresso Martini with coconut cold foam 💜

A great small tour of a locally distillery. Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable on the history of distilling and local history that helped shape the community they operate in. Not only did we get to tour the distillery but the tasting flight at the end of the tour is in their speakeasy that they just opened as part of their business. The venue is small but felt very welcoming and was a great stop for our vacation

We brought in a private group of 15 to tour the St. Petersburg Distillery on their new moonshine experience, finishing in the absolutely gorgeous new speakeasy. I cannot rate the entire team higher, Kiley greeted us and looked after every member of the group. Such a unique experience with plenty of beautifully tasting spirits- the PB&J martini is a must, the best cocktail i l have EVER had! This is a must do for anyone in the area! Thank you so much!

We had an amazing time, I booked the earliest available tour, but neglected to notice that I had selected the wrong date and they still accommodated me. Justin in particular was an incredible tour guide and went above and beyond, making us comfortable and answering any and all of our questions about the brewery. The hospitality from everyone was top-tier and we will definitely be coming back.

This was a great experience and tasting! I like that you started the tour with a drink in hand and got to try their spirits in a cocktail. Justin was very knowledgeable and took his time giving us a tour of the distillery. We got to see the new speakeasy upstairs which was awesome! Will definitely be back.

How to guide Chris was excellent! The distillery is really amazing and not something you figured would be in St. Petersburg. They have a delightful speakeasy as well where they do the tastings and their products are delicious and varied. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone else to enjoy a great spirit of Saint Petersburg

The St. Petersburg Distillery is so much fun. Tress was our tour guide and she was excellent! She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and just made the whole experience special for us, especially the tasting part. The distillery is spotless and the additional spaces are beautifully decorated and welcoming. I can only highly recommend a tour of the distillery and of course the spirits are great too!

It was a great experience! Very relaxing and informative. On selective Thursdays there is an outdoor restaurant which we missed. We’ll be back 😊

The St. Petersburg Distillery is so much fun. Matthew provided our tour and was excellent! He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and just made the whole experience special for us. The distillery is spotless and the additional spaces are beautifully decorated and welcoming. My lemon drop martini was delicious and we purchased two additional liquors to take home. This turned out to be one of our favorite experiences while in St. Petersburg.

Chris is a delightful and educated tour guide -- a science geek 🙂 The tour was a great way to end the day. Justin is a warm and helpful soul running the front desk. My favorite product is the gin, my husband, the whiskey.

We loved the tour. Matthew was very knowledgeable and informative. It’s a small distillery (only 1 building) but their product was delicious. If I went again I would do a later tour than 11am. We were served drinks before the tour and it was a little tough drinking an old fashioned at 11am.

We enjoyed our visit to the distillery. Justin waited on us and was very knowledgeable and very personable. We would visit there again.

This was an incredible place with the very nicest people. We knew we’d be too late for the last tour, as our arrival time was 4:15pm, so we planned to have a cocktail and shop. But the tour guide took our group of 8 anyway, and was incredibly knowledgeable. Matthew group up in Bourbon country, in central KY. We learned, we tasted, and we bought! Many of us had had tastings before, but he taught us a way to do it that really brought out the flavors of the spirits. The cocktails were amazing! Definitely try a pina colada. It’s so smooth and coconut-y, almost like a boozy Dole whip. We bought two bags full of things to take home. Will definitely try to come back in a few years when we’re back in the area. They are expanding and there will be additions to the tour in the future.

Went to the Distillery on a whim and caught the 3:00 tour. Matt was a fantastic tour guide! We learned the right way to taste liquor and that the flavor of the botanicals in gin are fragile if not treated properly. My wife and I had a hard time choosing a favorite flavor since all were excellent, But the tour and tasting were definitely worth the admission.

The folks at the distillery knocked it out of the ballpark! Great tour! Very informative and taken to areas that I've never seen in other distillery tours! The LAB! So incredibly interesting to me as a chemistry major in college! Not overly technical but the guide tolerated my 'chemistry' questions exceptionally well and with humor! Whether a scientist or someone just interested in the behind-the-scenes activities of a distillery, this tour is for you!

The tour was interesting, just the right length of time. Worth the fee, comes with a cocktail to start the tour then ends with samples from at least 7 or 8 spirits distilled on premise. Great way to spend an hour.

Matthew was great he explain all the tasting and how yo get the best of the taste. The complimentary drinks were really good. And the flight tasting is worth it

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Matthew was our tour guide. We enjoyed his ability to blend Kentucky bourbon trail knowledge into Florida distilling. My family had so much fun that we decided to stay longer and do the chocolate tasting/pairing as well. Beautifully kept facilities and everything was more than reasonably priced.

This place has nothing good about it. The flavor profile of their spirits is similar to rubbing alcohol. Their rum was like a root beer drink. The whiskey/bourbon doesnt even get 1 star, in my opinion. Very poor representation of a spirits distillery for St. Petersburg FL.

I was in Tampa for a weekend vacation. I went to the St. Petersburg Distillery with one of my sons for a guided tour and tasting. Mathew was our host. The welcome cocktail was excellent. The tour was short and to the point, but the tasting was awesome. Mathew taught us how properly taste spirits. A big difference from what I'd done before. We tried several brands of spirits at that distillery: whiskey, gin, rum, and orange liqueur. I highly recommend this tour. I don't know if I'll repeat it, but I'm pretty sure I'll come back to buy their bourbon or whiskey again. They're really good. 5 stars.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Can’t wait to bring our friends here when they come to visit. They also just added a charcuterie boards and it paired really well with their whiskey but also some of their signature drinks. Matthew was our tour guide, and he was very knowledgeable and super entertaining! Chris was the front desk staff and he created the charcuterie boards and he knocked it out of the park!
