St Pete Awesome Mural Biking Tour

It was good but overly priced at $79. A price range between $40-$50 would have been ideal. A normal boat tour cost us around $30, so considering this was bike tour, its expensive. Also I feel some some more murals (at least 3-4 more) could have been covered to make the tour more engaging. The guide was very helpful and she ensured the safety of all.

HIGHLY recommend this tour. We meandered through neighborhoods and districts off the beaten path that I never would have explored on my own. Doug is great… easy going and very informative. We saw an interesting assortment of murals. Biking was very easy, don’t be afraid of that. Just do it!

Excellent tour through St Pete’s arts district to experience the impressive SHINE festival murals, created by artists from around the world. Doug was a terrific guide and a wealth of local knowledge - a fun and informative introduction to St Pete.

This bike tour was amazing! The guide clearly loves St. Petersburg and the amount of information and detail about the city and the murals was incredible. Take this tour! The bikes were new and in great condition. The ride was easy with many stops. The guide was extremely careful to ensure our safety during the ride. We were provided water and offered helmets.

What a fun bike tour!! So cool to see all the murals and learn the history behind them!! So so awesome! I enjoyed this so much! I would definitely come back and do it again bc there was so much artwork we couldn't even see it all! LOVEDDD this!!

Last minute addition to our trip to St Pete for a wedding. Tour was great. Our guide (Doug) added context and history at every stop. The murals are beautiful and tell so many stories in a vibrant art community. Even got a great recommendation for brunch the next day.

I found this tour when looking for things to do with a visiting friend. I'm a new local who wanted to showcase my St. Pete and it's vibrant art culture while not knowing much about it myself. This tour was the perfect way to do that. The bike ride was easy- St. Pete is flat and most of the ride was on the bike path. We got to see a ton of the vibrant murals and learn a bit about the artist's approach to creating such expansive masterpieces. Doug was an amazing guide who exudes positive energy and ensures guests are comfortable, safe, and have an enjoyable time.

Such a. Awesome interesting tour of all 3 of the different art districts downtown st Pete! Doug out tour guide was awesome and even had cold water bottles for us ! So cool learning the history behind all the colorful artwork and also shows all the fun stuff along the way! Would totally do again bc he said they paint new murals every year so the tour is always changing ! Totally worth it!! 10/10

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about the artists and how the murals were painted, as well as the symbolism of some of the murals. It was an enjoyable afternoon and great way to see and learn about St. Pete's fabulous murals.

Fantastic tour! Got to see some interesting murals and hear the stories behind them, which left me appreciating some of them even more. Great all around experience! Excellent guide for my husband and me (50, 51) and 16yo daughter.

Great tour with Doug! We had a fantastic time and the murals were interesting and Doug was a fantastic host. One other thing that impressed me was that he remembered the names of all 4 of us in our family and made a point in calling us by name which made the experience more personal and it made our kids feel important. This was a great experience, two years in a row, and i would go again if I had more company come to visit. Doug is a warm, enthusiastic guide, humble and unpretentious, engaged us each at our own level, even my 12 year old grandson!! He told us so much about the history of the "shine" mural event in St. petersburg, and so knowledgeable about the individual artists that participated in the event, like how long it took them to paint the mural and what techniques they used. You get to see so many different areas of mostly downtown St. Petes, and get a feel for each of the neighborhoods visited. It was an upclose and personal view of a local and we loved every minute of it. My grandson was so enthralled with the whole experience and quoted snippets of dougs talk the next two days. He remembered the explanations of the art district and wanted to go back to them today, before her returned to Mpls. Thanks Doug for an amazing adventure!! (Even tho I was a bit wobbly on the bike)

Weather was amazing and our guide Doug did a terrific job talking about each mural. We loved his purple mohawk! The pace was perfect and definitely a leisure bike ride.

The mural bike tour was outstanding. Our guide Doug was incredibly knowledgeable about the artists, the murals and the art scene in St. Petersburg. He also had excellent restaurant recommendations :) It is a wonderful way to learn about the city, the artists and to enjoy the beautiful and creative murals throughout the city.

We loved this experience and thought our guide Doug was great. You took short rides on flat surfaces and stopped at quite a few murals throughout the city. Doug explained a little about each mural , you could take photos, he also included info about the neighborhoods and places to eat and visit. Bikes, helmets and water included. Very easy ride for all .

Guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had done another mural bike trip from another company the year before and this time was more informative.

Saw many wall paintings in at St Petersburg, very nice and interesting. We saw a lot of them explained by our guide . He also showed us the Pier .

We were in town for a wedding and decided to take this bike mural tour, Doug the guide was very knowledgeable on history of St Petersburg and the Murals and very personable! We had a great time!! We were treated to a coffee stop at The black crow and later to a snack stop that was great! Highly recommend this fun thing to do

Really loved getting the insider tour of St. Petersburg and learned a lot about the city and loved the art perspective! It was a well paced tour and easy to follow on the streets. The murals were amazing and we saw a lot off the beaten path. Doug was very informative and easy going.

Just take my money! Doug was the best tour guide I have ever had! We learned a ton about the street of St. Pete but, more importantly, Doug was friendly and personable and interesting! Jennifer was so helpful and kind in answering my questions and getting us set up with the bike tour we wanted. Yes, of course, Doug knew a lot about what we were seeing but he also gave us tons of local recommendations and fun bits of St. Pete history. We even came back the next day to visit The Dali Museum, on his suggestion, and were not disappointed. We will be coming back on our next trip to do another bike tour. You will not regret it!

We had an excellent tour of approximately 30 to 40 murals in downtown Saint Petersburg today. The tour guide Doug Did an excellent job he was very conscientious about safety, very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this tour to others that want to learn about some of the significant cultural artist aspects of our Saint Pete area.

My husband & I had a wonderful tour with Doug and another couple. We saw beautiful murals and enjoyed the rest areas with local snacks.

My 21 yr old daughter and I did the bike tour on Saturday morning. It was hot busy breezy snd easy to duck into the shade for the most part. It’s amazing how much more you can get out of the murals when they are interpreted and explained. w/Doug was such an informative and easy going guide. Delightful. Highly recommend.

What a perfect way to spend the morning in St Pete !!! Doug and Jen were wonderful and knowledgeable. The bikes were great and the stops along the route where an added addition! The murals were amazing!! A must do when your in St. Pete !!!!

Excellent tour and a great way to see downtown. Doug, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and fun. Traffic was light, but we generally stayed off the main roads and felt safe . The bikes were fine, and no hills so it’s a pretty easy tour even in hot weather , and the pace was just right. The food stops were interesting and delicious . Looking forward to another tour in the future.

This tour was such a fun way to get out and do something different. We really felt safe and enjoyed how knowledgeable our guide was about the history of St. Pete, the artists and their work. I would recommend this to anyone who’s up for it. It was pretty moderately paced, so nothing to be too concerned about. The weather was gorgeous which made for an even better tour. Book yours as soon as you can. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic tour! What a fun day! Doug was our guide and he was knowledgeable about the murals. It was really interesting to hear the back story. The bikes were well maintained. There were a lot of breaks and we never felt rushed to stay on schedule. Will do another tour when we return in the fall
