AJ is a wonderful guide-professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and a lot of fun! We wanted to get to know the layout of Key West and get a taste of the island’s history. This tour was perfect on our first day. We took the 9am tour so it was still quiet and cool- very pleasant. AJ provided so much information -historical, current and had pictures on his iPad to give us visuals of the past as well. Money well spent. This is a must if you only have a few days, want a taste of island history and still have time for the beach! Thanks AJ for a great visit!!

Met our tour guide, AJ, at the appointed meeting place. He started right in with so much local history and interesting stories of local business. We walked and stopped to see points of interest and hear more stories at a great pace. The tour ended at the southernmost point, with AJ taking our photos and giving lunch recommendations before parting. We thoroughly enjoined our tour and cannot recommend it enough when visiting Key West.

My wife and I spent New Year’s in Key West, and since she loves learning the history of the places we visit, I booked this walking tour. Our guide, AJ, was fantastic and did an awesome job sharing stories and history as we walked through Old Town, ending at the Southernmost Point. The weather was perfect, the tour lasted about two hours, and the information was interesting, easy to follow, and never overwhelming. Of everything we did in Key West, this tour ended up being my wife’s favorite and felt like a great use of our time. Even though it was just the two of us on the tour that day, AJ still gave us the full experience and really took the time to share his knowledge. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Key West.
Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and had some interesting historical pictures on his iPad. I would surely recommend him and this tour. It also gave us a sense for the lay of the land on Key West which means we now know where else to go. We passed many of the special spots on our walk.

Alejandro was an engaging guide with great stories to illustrate the intertwining history of Key West. Using photos and old maps as aids, he helped us understand the influences of early inhabitants to Spanish arrival, to Ponce de Leon, as well as the role of Key West in International shipping, Cuban cigars, and Spanish galleon rescues (legal piracy?). We gained a different understanding of the importance of Key West in the civil war and what an economic powerhouse it was in the American Economy prior to 1930. We enjoyed learning and seeing the history with Alejandro.

A great introduction to Key West. Our guide AJ was excellent. His knowledge along with showing pictures on his IPAD of what areas and buildings looked like in the past gave you a real feel for the places we visited. He made the tour fun as well as informative. AJ made the tour interactive providing time for questions as well as suggestions of must see places and restaurants. So glad we picked this tour! Very satisfying and enjoyable!

A great tour, we learnt so much in a two hour (easy) walk around Key West, taking in all the major sights and thus understanding the things to go back to. The iPad with pictures was a real plus so we could understand how the town developed (it helped that there were only four of us - it was a "small group" walking tour after all) - our guide was engaging and interesting and we would thoroughly recommend this tour.
