Single Kayak Rental On Big Hickory Pass

This was a great experience. Joey is knowledgeable, on time, friendly and funny. The money we spent was well worth it. We met a tour guide named Joey, we finished our tour with a new friend. We will be back and next time we will know all the spots to hit thanks to Joey.

My mom and I had such an amazing day! We did the 4-hour single kayak rentals and kayaked through the mangroves that were recommended, then headed out to Big Hickory Island for a picnic, some snorkeling, and exploring the surrounding islands. Joey was super friendly and accommodating and provided us with a map, shell bags, and dry bags for our trip. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend!

I rented a kayak for my nephew so we could explore the area (I brought my own SUP). The owner was super friendly and easygoing, really cares about his customers, gave us solid advice on the weather and current before we headed out. Would definitely rent from him again if I get the chance!

We had a great time. We like experiences that we can do at our own pace. We kayaked for a bit then stopped off to swim and snorkel for awhile. Even stopped in the shade of the groves for a quick afternoon snack. I felt the price was fair, we did the 4 hour package. Bring sunscreen to re apply or youll get burnt like I did haha. Staff was really friendly. We would come again next time we vacation here.

Joey was really great. He sent a text that gave the exact location to meet and launch our kayaks. He gave us a map detailing the waterways, recommending the best way for us to go. It was a very enjoyable time.

Great experience! I received a morning text with the exact meeting location and instructions. Super nice gentlemen with clean equipment and ready to go when we arrived. They provided the map, shell bag, and waterproof bags for our keys and phone! A brief download of the current directions and suggestions of what to be on the lookout for: dolphins, manatees, and birds! We rented kayaks for the day &90 included everything. We saw some much wild life and multiple dolphins! If you’ve never experienced this, it’s a must when you visit South West Florida. Kayaking through the mangrove tunnels was absolutely amazing. The scenery is breathtaking, and paddling through the winding natural pathways felt like exploring a hidden world. Joey made the whole experience even better—he’s knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made us feel safe, relaxed, and taught us so much about the ecosystem along the way. Highly recommend this adventure—it’s a must-do!

Excellent area and sites to paddle through and hang out. Even though this was self-guided, Nick was a great guide in providing a map showing us where to, but also tips on places to stop and options to better enjoy our experience.

Wow! We rented the 4-hour kayak-on-your-own trip, and we had the time of our lives!! Joey was incredible and showed us all of the best things to do before we got started. The mangrove tunnels were incredible, and the shelling beach was magical. Joey pointed out a manatee that swam by before we even got started, and then we got to see a dolphin in the docks. What an incredible way to spend a day!! 10/10!

Joey at Island Breeze Kayak Tours is great, knows his stuff, is super friendly and prices are great! My girlfriend and I rented a tandem kayak for 2 hours and had a great time. They provided us with everything u needed for the time even mesh bags for shells you collect. I would highly recommend renting kayaks or paddle boards from Joey and Island Breeze! I will definitely be a returning customer next time we are down in Bonita.

Joe was fantastic period we called from the road on a very busy day to see if he had availability. Hey, accommodated us made payment easy. And when we got there couldn't have been more friends. My wife, who has some disabilities, was helped into the Canoe, made sure her life jacket was secure and she was comfortable. And when we came back, they were ready for us and helped her out of the canoe before i could evvem ask them. They provided a map of area and gave great suggestions of where ti go. It was a great experience!

Our niece is visiting for the week and we wanted to get her on the water. Joey and his crew set us up with three single kayaks, a map, and lots of tips and tricks. We headed over to Big Hickory Preserve, parked the kayaks, and we shelled for a bit. We got a ton a treasures! Then we hit the mangroves for some back water paddling. We took the kayas for two hours and decided to stay an extra hour. What a day! Thanks guys!

The perfect 2 hour adventure. Easy kayaking to Hickory Pass where the beach was beautiful and full of shells. Kayaked with a dolphin most of the way! Joe was great - easy to work with, many payment options, map and shell bag provided. We will definitely be back!

We loved kayaks, they were sturdy and easy to paddle. We were provided with map and suggestions where to go and what to see… while kayaking we saw dolphins, manatees and many different kinds of birds.

Our family had a great kayaking trip with Island Breeze! Joey was very informative, shared where to find the dolphins and how to doc at the beach to for shells. Great deal for a day of kayaking. It was a little chopy but was the perfect outing. Saw some dolphins and were able to go to an island we would have been able to get too. Lots of sea shells. Joe was great and laid back. Highly recommend.

Great place to find lots of shells. We kayaked to the Big Hickory Beach which was a great place to relax, walk the beach & look for shells. We went on Memorial Day but it would have been better to go another day; perhaps a weekday because of parking challenges. Also we went in the afternoon which was great; there were no bugs at all. Overall, we had a great time and I highly recommend Island Breeze Kayaking.

Do this! We rented kayaks where we were able to explore the area and a beautiful local beach on our own. Because it was self guided we went on our own pace and was able to even back track when we started to see manatees! Joe provides everything you need and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our family enjoys physical outdoor activities and this is right up our alley. Also provided are boxes that protect belongings from water which is nice if you have your phone for pictures! I recommend you bring clothes that will get wet, a long sleeve if your sunburn prone and a bottle of water. We are water lovers by nature and so this is our element and the beautiful beach with lots of shells was enjoyable! Joe also took pictures of us which he later sent us which was really appreciated!

I asked my friends to kayak in Florida for my 50th birthday. Although apprehensive, they agreed. Joey made us all feel very at ease. It was an amazingly fun day. One I will never forget. Beautiful weather, scenery and wildlife. I’ve got so many beautiful new shells for my collection along with memories that will last a lifetime.
