10/10 would go again in a heartbeat. We went Nov 5th and saw several monkeys, manatees, variety of birds, fish, turtles and gators .

Chris sent a helpful confirmation text the night before clarifying the experience. The lovely Ashlee met us there and gave us a thorough safety briefing about the environment, the route and the wildlife. We were given a map, life vests and dry bags. Paddling through the channel was serene and very tranquil. We saw various bird species, lots of turtles both in the water and drying out on logs. We didn’t see any manatees (other visitors said they had) but we did glimpse an otter. Across the car park is a visitors’ centre, souvenir shop and diner where we enjoyed milkshakes! We would definitely do the experience again.

We had the absolute best time!!! Justin Severance was a pleasure to work with and gave us clear directions and recommendations on where there would be some manatees! We saw soooo many monkeys, manatees, turtles, gators basking and lots of cool fish. It was the perfect trip!

Justin was very communicative and clear with directions to get to the put-in spot and gave us advice on where to see monkeys. Although the monkeys were not hanging out today, we did see a manatee, multiple gators, turtles, and fabulous birds. We definitely recommend Kayaking Florida - worth every penny!

We had a great time. They were on time to leave and pick up was fast. They gave us great instructions. We saw 4 manatees even though it was October. I would do this tour again

Hired a tandem sit in kayak for 2 hours, saw few alligators, loads of turtles, birds & an otter, all close up. Managed 2 laps of the route so with hindsight would have done the longer one way trip with return by free shuttle bus.

Booking was really simple direct through the site and as soon as we booked all confirmed with email and text. Comprehensive pre arrival briefing given and clear contact details. Arrival we were greeted by Justin, who put us at ease and explained things fully. Really easy to engage with. Assisted us getting going and afterwards picked us up promptly and returned us to our car. Will not hesitate to recommend this company to our friends coming to Florida in the near future.

From the beginning, I thought the price was very affordable, and Justin was very attentive from start to finish, always checking in and providing excellent follow-up. That day, I had a small delay with my scheduled time, and Justin handled it with so much kindness and understanding, which I really appreciated. The place is simply wonderful. What an incredibly organized experience! An hour before my booking time I got a detailed email about where to go and where to be. The staff were very visible and got me into the water a half hour early. Launching the kayak was perfection; A map and details were provided and a very expedited and organized exit out of the water. One of the best kayaking experiences I’ve had with an outfitter. I will kayak anywhere these folks operate in Florida! And of course, the springs were magical, lots of wildlife, incredibly clear water, great photography. A remarkable adventure!

We arrived early and the guys were ready and waiting for us and allowed us out on the water early. The communication from them was terrific. Text messages the day before and phone numbers on the day were very reassuring We had a wonderful couple of hours on the river and saw otters herons tortoises and even THREE ALLIGATORS Thanks guys

Upon arrival, Justin got our kayaks and was so helpful. My granddaughter had an anxiety attack when she got into the springs. Went to the bank and got out and Justin talked to her about how he was scared the first time he ever kayaked. He helped her through her attack and she got back in the kayak and had the BEST time. Now when she grows up she wants to work there as a guide. She is 12 years old. Justin was absolutely a blessing ❤️. He also gave us information to book directly with you. We will be bringing our family back often.

My husband and I had a GREAT 2 hour self guided trip. Justin and his crew were friendly and gave suggestions when I asked about wildlife I hoped to see. We plan to go back next year with more family members and do the 4 hour trip.

We had a fantastic experience booking two clear tandem kayaks at Silver Springs through Kayaking Florida. Justin was very accommodating and easy to work with, and the company offers the best value we could find among all operators at Silver Springs. We saw plenty of cool wildlife and had an overall great time.

From the moment we got off the phone with Justin that morning we knew we were going to have a great day. He was so friendly and relaxed. Very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, and very willing to share his knowledge. The float was spectacular! We saw so many species of wildlife, both in and out of the water, can’t even name them all. The water was crystal clear, so beautiful. When we were done with the trip, Justin showed up within minutes to pick us up and load our boats. We would describe some of the unusual fish that we saw and he was able to tell us what the names were. Wonderful experience! Highly recommend this company.

I definitely recommend. We saw an otter, several species of birds, many turtles, several fish species, one alligator minding its business, but didn’t see any manatees or monkeys. On the walking trail there was plenty of monkey “evidence” though. The water was clear and a beautiful blue in places where there weren’t plants. Other people that we crossed paths with said they saw more alligators.

Great, laid back experience. We enjoyed the 2 hour clear kayak tandem rental. We arrived back to the launch area early so kayaked nearby until our 2 hours was up. Next time we know we can slow down our loop to enjoy the wildlife at a slower pace. Saw lots of gators and ducks. No monkeys or manatees this time. Highly recommend!

We had a really great time on the river. And the experience was seamless and easy because we booked with this company. The clear kayaks were fun, and it wasn't neat to be able to see animals passing underneath the kayak. Chris explained everything, gotta set up with everything we needed and out onto the river within minutes. He was available by a phone when we approached the launchsite at the end of our journey and what can I say the experience was wonderful. Would reccomend.

We had a wonderful time kayaking at Silver Springs . It was my first time kayaking and Justin Severance from Kayaking Florida did an amazing job of helping me to feel at ease. He even kept an eye on us as we got started on our trip and gave us some helpful directions. I loved being able to go at my own pace and take in the natural wonders of the park. I would definitely go kayaking again with Kayaking Florida.

My group and I had Chris as our guide and he was such a blast. He was super friendly and knowledgeable regarding the wildlife. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun and adventurous to do here in Florida.

It was great, they were very professional and helpful.

The scenery was pretty but for $130 plus a $8 safety fee ($138 total) for two people just to do a circle and see some birds was not worth the money. I will say at the very beginning we did see two baby alligators in the same place then another 1hr and 20 minutes of birds. There were no monkeys, no manatees, or anymore alligators. Knock the price down to $30 or $40 and it would be worth it.

Kayak Florida was excellent at accommodating us when trip advisor booked us with the kayaks I did not choose when booking. The trip down Silver Springs River surpassed my expectations!

We did the 2 hour guided tour with Justin. It was great to have him point the wildlife that we would not have noticed on our own. It was amazing!

We loved our 2 hour kayaking trip. Chris who helped us check in and get in and out of our kayaks was great.

My daughter and I went kayaking with this company and had a wonderful time for about 2 hours. Chris, the worker who set us up with the tandem kayak, was incredibly helpful and informed us well of all we needed to know. While the tour company did a great job, the signage at Silver Springs, and the directions for getting to the launch area were less than helpful, so if you go be prepared to be buffeted from one area to another until you hopefully land in the right spot. But the channel and the river were crystal clear and we saw an alligator and lots of turtles and birds. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but next time I'd do a single kayak. It's easier to steer as it was hard to sync our paddling in the tandem. We saw many people with young children, some with babies, and one woman with her dog so it seems the activity is a good one for all ages and critters.

Absolutely great experience! The view was amazing with rich wildlife and the staff were amazing and very nice! I highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience! Our family absolutely loved it and Joe from Kayaking Florida was amazing and very friendly. We seen monkeys, gators and otters. No Manatees which is a bummer but we were warned it was out of season. We will definitely be back next year!

This tour was AMAZING and Kevin was an AWESOME tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the springs and called out all the different species of birds and fish. He knew all the best places to take us for viewing wildlife. Highly recommend! 10 stars to Kevin!! ☀️☀️☀️

This couldn’t have been a better experience. Excellent communication from Kayaking Florida. Chris and Joe got us set up quickly and efficiently, got us on the water on time, and explained everything very well. Super easy kayak launch and return. Highly recommend! I’ll come back and use them again.

Joe was our guide before we arrived, with directions, parking instructions, how to secure park pass and launch fees, and finally took us through the map to be sure we were on the right track. He launched both of our kayaks due to low water conditions and pulled us ashore when we finished. He was personal and the type of person you’d like to get to know better even with only a few minutes together. Everything about our day was better and memorable because of Joe and the crew of Kayaking Florida!

Joe was amazing. He was curteous, patient, and pleasant. He was in constant communication with us and gave us great directions. We really appreciated the fact that he was so helpful with our Special needs daughter. We highly recommend this company.

My boyfriend and I went for the 4 hr self guided tour. Super easy as they texted directions and were very quick getting us in the water. We were able to call/text with any questions and received a prompt response. Joe was great, very friendly and great service!
