Sightseeing Hakuna Matata Catamaran Cruise In Palm Beach

We had a wonderful experience on this sunset cruise, as the views and scenery were absolutely stunning! The crew was incredibly friendly, informative, and patient—they kindly waited when we arrived a bit late and provided amazing assistance transferring my special needs client from the dock to the boat. Enjoyed a relaxing 1.5 hour cruise with an older relative and my husband. We all agreed it was just enough anecdotal information on the history of the sights we were passing...alternating with some good cruising music. We could talk inbetween hearing fun facts about PB history. Great tour guide and crew. Comfortable seating with sun or shade options. Easy access to the bar for refreshments. Highly recommend!

We took this cruise at the beginning of our trip and it was perfect. We cruised by all kinds of expensive/celebrity mansions, got an up close tour of some lovely places in Palm Beach, our tour guide was very handsome and knowledgeable and even gave us recommendations for after our tour. We discovered things that we otherwise would not have known. Very clean and safe catamaran. Highly recommended!

The boat tour was great! Haley and Cody were very friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome experience. My only suggestion would be 1 free bottle of water per passenger esp. on warm days.

This was a great view of Palm Beach along the intracoastal. Also just a very relaxing way to get out in the water for a couple hours.

Dont hesitate! I took this boat tour on a quiet Monday afternoon at 2 pm. Check in at the hut was easy. The 2 person catamaran staff very fun. Providing periodic information & stories of the people living there present and past, history of areas and current places to visit. Drinks/food available. Shaded or sun loving spots to sit. I did this trip alone but would be great for a couple or group too! Would go again just for the cruise in the water 😊

The Palm Beach County Attraction Association had it's August lunch on the newer 50 ft .catamaran "the Motunui" with a 2 hour Intercoastal Cruise. It was wonderful! What a beautiful day on the water! The crew was amazing and professional, It is something everyone should experience. Visit Palm Beach is the best when it comes to eco tourism. They are simply the best! Thank you! See you next year!

Great cruise to see how the wealthy live. Excellent tour guide with humorous antidotes. Lovely sites of houses and yachts.

It was a very relaxing & informative boat ride. The hosts were fun and played great music. I did hope for the catamaran to go faster and to at least get splashed, but that didn’t happen.

A very interesting, entertaining and fun filled excursion. Dylan & Haley kept the cruise moving along with their knowledge and jokes.

Very fun trip. Crew was very friendly and knowledgeable and talked about many points of interest along the way. Boat was very comfortable with options to sit in the shade or the sun.

My family (8 adults) loved the tour, atmosphere, crew, drinks, and dancing! We had such a great experience. We toured June 30th at 2pm and there were only 7 people besides our family on the catamaran. This was a great trip as it was not over-crowded. Codi and Haley were great hosts, bar tenders, and captains. They made the trip tour informational, relaxing, and fun.

We booked the sunset cruise on the Hakuna Matata. The company called and said they overbooked the cruise and asked us if we would like an upgrade. This boat was smaller but it was nicer. Cody and Alex were our crew and they were very nice - we enjoyed them greatly. However, the cruise just didn’t have a lot of energy. I know that sometimes things like these are “what you make it” but it was just ok. We saw some nice houses but it was nothing memorable.

I hate giving 2 stars but this was the worst cruise I've been onand ive been on quite a few. NO narration, i had no idea where we were or what we were seeing, but we did have a lovely tour of the port and trash. Slow, motown music played the entire time, totally killing any kind of fun or party vibe. No place to dance. They did have a bar on-site but the vibe was just so slow and very stoner like. There was a pit toilet on board but you had to climb a ladder down to it so hopefully you aren't older or handicapped in any way. It was the longest 2 hours....

I have nothing bad to say about the three staff members aboard the Hakuna Matata. They went above and beyond and deserve raises. However, the company and the Director of Business Development should be ashamed of themselves. I suffered many injuries due to a fall caused by unprotected openings to the bathroom below deck. I was standing on an anchored boat, I did not trip, and I was not careless, when what I assume happened was a wave hitting the boat and I fell headfirst down the unprotected opening. I blacked out and when I came to, I was covered in blood and struggling to catch my breath. I spent the next two hours icing my head and ankle onboard the boat until it was docked and at that point I went right to urgent care. I have requested twice that these openings be netted or covered for the safety of future guests. I have been told twice by the Director of Business Operations that this is not negligent and IT IS MY FAULT FOR STANDING ON AN ANCHORED BOAT. It seemed fair to me to request a reimbursement since I did not have the ‘experience’ I was promised. It seemed fair the company reimburse the cost of my urgent care visit since “In nearly 30 years of operation, having welcomed hundreds of thousands of guests aboard’ this small amount would show due diligence, customer care, professionalism, and basic human decency. I did not foresee any issues. However, along with twice denying my request to protect future passengers, they twice denied my reimbursement request. Do NOT use this company, you could be jeopardizing your life as well as the safety of your loved ones.

Such a fun experience! Friendly environment and informative. The captain and his crew member, Dylan and Haley, were engaging. Just enough information yet plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and relax. Loved our daytime cruise!

Energetic and informative staff. Ample space to meander around the boat and engage in conversations.

Two hours well spent. Great value. Pleasant crew. Interesting narrative regarding the lifestyles of the rich and famous. They have big houses, big yachts, and they spend a million dollars for a tee time. The catamaran is not particularly fancy but its a comfortable way to travel in Palm Beach.

Beautiful day on the water. Crew did a great job sharing local information as we cruised through the channel. Would recommend.

Very informative and fun! Both tour guides were very friendly. It was a great tour and my son and I enjoyed it.

It was really fun. We enjoyed the narratives as we cruised past the billionaire's homes. We did not expect the part where we went flying at high speed out into the ocean and just couldn't stop laughing and smiling. Our crew, Cody and Halley, were wonderful tour guides. The only downside was that the seat cushions were so old and worn it felt like we were sitting on rock after awhile.

Great tour, the guides are excellent. Just the right length. Some interesting sites and history. With strongly recommend it.

A delightful crew, Haley, Dylan and Kiara....they worked well as a team and took turns giving us insight into the mansions on the water. It was a beautiful day to be cruising; the music was just right and we had a great time!!

The sightseeing tour was fun. Just a quick tour around west Palm Beach with some beautiful homes on Palm Beach Island. Captains were fun and you can do drinks on board ( small note-music was a bit all over the place- but we had fun)

I highly recommend this tour! It’s fun to see all the mansions and the city from the water. The bartender Haley and the captain are great tour guides. They will point out celebratory yachts and houses and have funny and interesting stories. The boat was comfy. Great experience!

Easy booking online; welcomed onto boat and good intewrmittent commentary during cruise for 2 hours. Good service at bar on board.

It was really lovely and very interesting and the only thing I would ask for is a microphone of some sort for the gentleman giving the tour as it was hard to hear him sometimes. But really a great boat to go on to entertain out of town guests!!

THIS IS MY OPINION. Earsplitting awful music between guides short narratives. Guide's narrative not amplified. It rained earlier that day so all cushions were removed (guess they have no ability to dry them). Small single toilet accessed by five steep steps. Bringing food and drink on board forbidden (without sufficient advance notice), but snack bar offered only booze, soft drinks, chips and cookies, not even a sandwich for 12:30 pm outing. Directions to a $5 garage (weekend rate) led to a closed facility. Deck dangerous for a toddler, no substantial safety rails. AVOID THIS ONE.

Seeing the homes of people who have been ultra financially successful and their monster homes and yachts.

It was so informative and relaxing cruise. I was the youngest person on the catamaran but it was still great. Staff were friendly and I learnt lots about the area

Be sure you stop at the blue hut and get your tickets. You cant board with just your electronic voucher. There were some passenger on our trip that missed this step!

We had a great time learning about the history of Palm Beach. We saw some beautiful historic and celebrity homes. Would recommend this for families and couples visiting the area. Especially at the beginning of your trip to learn about different places to visit in this area.

A fun time on the water. Not only did we get to see all the mansions and yachts but we got to her some history along the tour. It was a perfect tour and the captain and deckhands made it entertaining

From the onset of booking to the actual tour a memorable cruise…hosts were knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and funny! Even the off site parking was easy…highly recommend seeing Palm Beach from the water👍
