I had an outstanding experience at Apex Gun Range. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t your typical gun range. The facility is modern, spacious, and spotless. They even have a café, which was a nice surprise and added to the overall experience. What really stood out was the safety. They have a dedicated Range Safety Officer on the line, which made me feel comfortable bringing my 17-year-old niece for her very first time shooting. She had an absolute blast, and the staff made sure she felt safe and confident throughout the experience. One of the coolest features is that they record your entire range session at no extra charge. We were there for about 45 minutes, but their system automatically edits the footage down to about 6 minutes, showing only the actual shooting and cutting out all the downtime like reloading or talking. It made for an awesome keepsake without having to do any editing ourselves. Yes, Apex costs a little more than the gun ranges I normally visit, but you truly get what you pay for. The facility, technology, professionalism, and overall experience make it well worth it especially if you’re introducing someone to shooting for the first time. To top it off, it’s in the same plaza as Xtreme Action Park, so you can go shoot, then head over for go-karts or the other attractions and make a day out of it. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Apex Gun Range has officially become my new go-to range, and I highly recommend it to both experienced shooters and first-timers.

Excellent place. Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly and well knowledgeable. My brother-in-law and I have been going here for the last 3 months every other week. They even got a small coffee and sandwich shop inside so you could get something to eat. Plus they have a wide range of very cool guns. You could purchase or rent

I went there for my concealed permit and also range time for practice several times the staff here at this facility and range are some of the most helpful staff to date Tony one the instructors has been the most helpful since I've been coming here I love the hospitality knowledge and display of education on firearms. Love this place ❤️

Apex shooting center was an overall an amazing experience. They offer firearm rentals, safety gear, professional staff guidance, and training classes in a clean, controlled environment. For a first-time visit, expect a safety-focused experience with staff available to walk you through the process and help you feel comfortable on the range. Also the pricing is budget-friendly compared to many other ranges in the area.

Our two instructors Frantz and Mark did an amazing job preparing us as first timers... the level of care and detail they gave throughly prepared us - me especially. I was so nervous but Frantz made helped me relax, find that energy that made enjoy the experience so much more. We had an amazing time at the gun range! Me and my friends came in just looking to have a good time, and it turned into an awesome experience. Jacob was a huge help the whole time—super knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe while shooting. The atmosphere was great, and you can tell they really care about making sure everyone has a good experience. We were laughing, learning, and having a blast the entire time. Definitely one of the most fun outings we’ve had in a while. Big thanks to Jacob for making it such a great experience! 🔥🎯 We’ll definitely be back.

Hands down the best place to visit when you’re in the area! From the warm welcome at the front desk to the incredibly knowledgeable staff, the entire experience was outstanding. A special shoutout to Tony on the range — he was patient, friendly, and so kind to our large group, especially since it was our first time there. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Florida!

Wow great first experience! We tried 2 different pistols with different ammunitions. Mark was professional and patient. The environment was safe and well organized.

Kadia and Mark were amazing they walked us through the process since I was a beginner, Kadia was very informative about the front end functions and the guns Mark was very knowledgeable about safety and was very helpful with instructions and gun handling ensuring we had a safe and fun time.

We were in town on vacation and needed something to do with all of the guys found the shooting range and it was absolutely awesome. They were amazing to work with got to shot hand guns semi auto and we even did full auto ak15 and ar15 will definitely be returning when back in town

What a way to end up our vacation in Florida. Almost went go-carting, but this was WAY better option. 9mm to start it out and ended up with a full-auto.

THE WORST. They were unable to email me my invoice. Ammo price made it almost $400 for an hour of shooting w 2 rental guns but they charged me $500. So I had them printed and found they wrongly charged me $83 for 8 pairs of googles. I asked for a manager who confirmed he credited me back but he never actually did. Then we waited an hour and our video never appeared. We spoke to several people they also just wait but none would actually help. We even went back end of day, still no video. Their phone system took several calls to reach a live person, now I'm sitting on hold over 30 min I guess they forgot me. I also emailed, no reply. Their voicemail doesn't work. I called back and was ghosted again. I called 6 times.

Apex has the best in door range in South Florida hands down. They have great deals ifor random and serious dhooters.Mario is the best range officer very knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to help when called upon.

This is really a bait and switch the price that you pay on. Viator doesn’t come close to the price that you will pay. First of all they will charge you $20 per couple just for a registration fee when you walk in then they charge you for ammunition then they charge you for the IN ear protection even though it’s supposed to be included we only shot 50 rounds each and the entire charge was $170. A total rip off.

Ryan was the absolute best. Helped me out with my stance and showed me how to shoot straight. Range is modern and not too expensive.

Great shooting range but the staff there is a bit weird expect for Mark. Everybody else seem be racial profiling based on demeanor and mannerisms.

Wow what an experience! It was my first time shooting, and the rules, boundaries and regulations that Robert explained and provided really increased my comfort level! I highly recommend Robert and Apex establishment’s.

I came in July 23th with 3 friends from Canada the place was so beautiful and clean and the staff was really cool, my experience there was amazing 10/10

While my experience at the Apex shooting center in Fort Lauderdale was pleasant due to the beautiful facility, I would be remiss not to mention the lack of professionalism by way of the range safety officer’s briefing. The safety officer briefed myself and my party on the rules of the range and not one time during his briefing did he mention any of the safety rules listed on the bay wall but instead he instructed me to read them. He continued his briefing by threatening to shoot me numerous times till the point that I stopped counting. While I do understand the necessity to be adamantly clear about rules, especially on a gun range, and assume a zero tolerance posture towards safety violations, I find it obscenely unprofessional and distasteful that he used no tact and decency when briefing myself and my party. Furthermore, I did not care for wanton disregard of discretion is his use of profane language with the minors who accompanied me. The range safety officer referenced his military service to double down on his point of being willing to execute myself and my party. As a fellow veteran and a current public servant as well as a firearms instructor for youth, I completely understand the necessary cautions in place for safety, and I commend Apex on implementing them throughout the facility. This range safety officer’s egregious disposition, however, indubitably impacted my party’s experience and his behavior brings shame to Apex, to the US military, and to himself. I have utilized Apex to train youth in the past, this trip, and I looked forward to working with Apex in the future. Had the RSO not been so disturbing Apex would’ve had a great opportunity for regular business with a local youth shooting group, and incredible public relations. A cornerstone of the youth program is professionalism and I will not tolerate a display of foul suggestive influence of their adolescence and they are unable to display such behavior themselves within the organization. Concluding, outside of this RSO the experience was great and I do intent to return as I am a local and I know Apex is a reputable brand amid him. I do not remember his name, he was an approximately 5’6/5’7, fair complexion, middle aged to elderly, Caucasian male with a medium to thin build, and he was presiding over safety in the alpha range at 1630 hours on Sunday July 13th 2025.

David is an awesome instructor. Patient, kind, and reassuring. Definitely come here, everyone is nice and helpful. They offer amazing tutorials and ladies shoot free on Tuesdays.

Great shooting range! Took my boys (who have limited experience) and David did a great job showing them new guns to shoot and to do so safely. Great job!

The entire experience as soon as we walked in was amazing and welcoming. Robert, the range master, was incredible. He was so nice and explained everything in a way that was not intimidating and helped build our confidence. Marcus was also very helpful. We loved it and it made my husbands birthday extra special.
