What a fun way to spend a few hours. Fairly easy kayak trip, saw mangroves and manatees and tons of birds. Love the cormorants who keep you company on your paddle. Taylor is SUPER knowledgeable on the area and the wildlife. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our kayak tour. From the moment we arrived, the guide was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable and safe while also sharing interesting information about the area, wildlife, and local history. The scenery was beautiful, and the pace of the tour was perfect—relaxed enough to enjoy the surroundings while still feeling like an adventure! We especially appreciated how attentive the guide was to making sure we were comfortable, and she seemed genuinely excited to be there! She even jumped out of her kayak to show us something cool she saw in the water, and helped us look for shark teeth! This tour was the highlights of our trip, and we left with great memories and a deeper appreciation for the area. We did a a kayak tour through the mangroves and to the sand bar and had a great time! Peaceful kayaking, fun snorkeling and finding wildlife at the sand bar, and our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to have a private kayak tour with Taylor. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience on the water and going through the Mangroves. Taylor was our terrific guide through the mangroves and waters, answering questions and sharing all her knowledge about the mangrove forests and wildlife. Saw manatee nostrils, dolphins, friendly birds, and flying mullet fish. As it was high tide, shells on Shell Key were covered by the water but we still came away with some treasures. The water on the gulf side of Shell Key was so clear and beautiful that we spent most of the time wading in the water. Thanks Taylor for a wonderful experience and accommodating our last minute request to an hour earlier!

Overall very good experience and worth the cost. Duration of the experience was just about right with a nice break on Shell Key Island for shell finding. Our guide, Taylor, was fantastic - well paced trip for all age groups. It was hot, so if you going in Summer, take plenty of water with electrolytes with you.

We picked a great morning for the tour and Taylor was an awesome guide. We picked the 9-12 and the weather was perfect. She was very knowledgeable on the history of the mangrove tunnels and local wildlife. It was a fun activity for the family! Thanks Taylor!!

our guide was super patient, explained everything we needed at the beginning and was excellent along the way. She explained most everything we encountered. She educated us all on the birds and wildlife. We even saw a pair of Manatee. Absolutely recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed our kayaking adventure. Shell Key is a beautiful place to visit. Kayaking through the mangroves was so tranquil. We saw stingrays on our tour. It’s great fun to have the cormorants swim alongside too. Taylor was our guide, she was really knowledgeable and informative about everything and gave us some great information about the nature of the mangroves etc. We would definitely do this tour again and recommend to others visiting the area.

Beautiful tour! We did the 12pm and the weather was great, not too hot! Though we were going against the wind the whole time making it a bit difficult but Taylor was amazing and the group was confident! The views are gorgeous, the information was fantastic and we loved shell key we found some beautiful shells! As a young couple we ubered there and back which was super doable. We would absolutely recommend this and will be doing it again on our next adventure here! Thank you Taylor!!

Taylor was an amazing guide. She accommodated and was flexible with our three and five year old. She went out of her way to pick up crabs and conch shells for us to see. She is very knowledgeable and personable.

Taylor gave us a wonderful tour of the Shell Key area. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We had a blast exploring the beach, spotting some Dolphins, and local birdlife, and collected some shells to take home.

We took the 9 AM tour and it was a fantastic experience with Taylor as our guide. We saw dolphins in the shallows, double-crested cormorants were fishing under our kayaks and all around us, the mangroves were tranquil and pristine. Shell beach was pretty and uncrowded. Overall It was a relaxing, fun, small group tour that I’d do again.

Taylor was extremely nice, informative, and very knowledgeable about the birds and the ecosystem in the mangroves and surrounding waterways. The kayaks were surprisingly comfortable and in good shape. There were options to stop and take photos of the mangrove tunnels. We saw dolphins and the Shell Beach was just gorgeous. The entire tour was a “10” definitely a must do!

Shell Key was a perfect midway resting spot. Great perks, like providing us with pictures and a GPS map showing our route, which helped us better recount the experience with our friends. This is a great experience for locals and visitors to the area. Exploring the mangrove tunnels and shelling on a beach that we had all to ourselves was very enjoyable. I had to cancel a trip with another company and they recommended calling Taylor. This turned out to be great luck. Taylor actually answered the phone while picking up garbage on the beach (I salute you). She was was so kind and welcoming to everyone. I was dropped ff early and picked up late. She wanted to make I was comfortable each time. On the trip she was informative all along the way telling us all about the flora and fauna. It was a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone.

Had an amazing time on a kayaking tour today! From the moment we got on the water, everything was well-organized and relaxed. Oh my goodness a must do trip!! If you're looking for an adventure with an amazing guide, pick this one for sure. We saw a conch shell, star fish, and dolphins all in such a short time and fun adventure. Both to and from our destination!! We can't wait to book our next adventure with e even more friends. Our family of four had a great time with Taylor and this was a wonderful tour. Our girls (middle school age) were able to handle the kayaks by themselves almost the entire time. When we had some headwind on the way back in, but Taylor had a tow rope when the kids needed a little help. The mangroves are fantastic and Shell Key is not to be missed. We would go back with Taylor again and again.

We’ve now been on 2 kayak tours with Taylor and she always has the best spots for shelling and exploring mangroves! She has tons of experience with kayaking in the area. She was so helpful with setting up times that work for our family and you can tell how much she cares about your experience within the first steps in the water! Update: we went back out with Taylor again to find more shells and the critters of the mangroves! It was windier than last time and she towed our 8 year old back which was unexpected and made for a wonderful experience!!
