I can honestly say this was one of the most incredible and memorable tours I’ve ever been on! I went into the experience without any particular expectations, and I left absolutely amazed by how much I enjoyed every part of it. From the wildlife and kayaking to the beach yoga, everything about this experience was wonderful. And a huge part of what made it so special was our guide, Alessia! Right from the beginning, Alessia was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the area and its wildlife. It wasn't just a kayaking tour where you paddle around and look at the scenery. Alessia shared so much interesting information about the birds, marine life, shells, and history of Shell Key. I loved learning about the different birds, especially the ones that dive underwater to catch fish. Watching them in action was hilarious! They would disappear beneath the water and then suddenly pop up somewhere near our kayaks. You never knew where one would appear next! We also spotted a manatee in the Intracoastal Waterway before heading out toward the Gulf, which was such an incredible way to start the adventure. There was so much wildlife to see throughout the trip that I was completely engaged the entire time. Alessia knew so much about what we were seeing and made everything even more interesting with her explanations. You could tell she really enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping people appreciate this beautiful natural environment. One of the things that really sets this experience apart is the beach yoga on Shell Key. I've done kayaking tours before, but I've never been on one that combines kayaking to a beautiful island with a yoga session right on the beach. What a fantastic idea! I have to admit, I had actually been a little skeptical about beach yoga. A friend of mine is always trying to get me to go with her, and I've resisted because I thought the sand and outdoor setting might be more annoying than relaxing. Well, this experience completely changed my mind! Practicing yoga in such a peaceful, beautiful location, listening to the gentle sound of the waves, and being surrounded by nature was absolutely incredible. Alessia created such a relaxing atmosphere, and the entire group seemed to settle right into it. Everyone was so laid-back, quiet, and relaxed. There was something really special about being on the beach together, with no distractions, just enjoying the moment. It was one of the most peaceful yoga experiences I've had, and I honestly didn't want it to end. What impressed me most was how seamlessly Alessia brought the entire experience together. She made the kayaking educational and entertaining while also creating an environment where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves. She has a wonderful way of making people feel comfortable, and her enthusiasm for the wildlife, the island, and the experience really shines through. Another thoughtful touch was that Alessia had Meta smart glasses and was able to capture photos during our adventure, which she later shared with us. I absolutely loved this! It meant we could enjoy the experience without constantly worrying about taking pictures ourselves, and we still had wonderful memories to look back on afterward. That extra effort really shows how much she cares about making the experience special for her guests. Even the meeting location was a pleasant surprise! We met at a really cool restaurant, which makes it convenient to grab lunch afterward and extend the outing a little longer. It's such a nice way to round out an already amazing day. I also loved the atmosphere of our group. Everyone was friendly, easygoing, and there to enjoy the experience. Nothing felt rushed or overly structured. It was the perfect combination of adventure, learning, nature, and relaxation. I've been on plenty of different experiences and tours, and this one really stands out. It's not often that you get to see a manatee, watch diving birds popping up around your kayak, learn about the wildlife and history of an island, and then finish with an incredibly peaceful yoga session on the beach. Every part of the adventure offered something different, and I enjoyed all of it. If you're considering booking this tour, I can't recommend it enough, and **I especially recommend going with Alessia!** She is an exceptional guide who goes above and beyond to make the experience educational, memorable, welcoming, and fun. Her knowledge, personality, attention to detail, and ability to create such a relaxing atmosphere made all the difference. I went in with no expectations and came away with an experience I'll remember for a long time. I would absolutely do it again, and I would encourage anyone visiting the area, or even locals looking for something different, to give it a try. **Thank you, Alessia, for such an unforgettable day! Had a sunset kayak trip with friends and it was amazing! I’ve been kayaking before but truly this was wonderful. Our guide Nick was a gem, really informative and helpful. We had a great time! Alessia is very knowledgeable and a great guide! We were lucky and were able to see 2 manatees and 3 dolphins and many other wildlife species. Afterwards, we had late lunch at the restaurant nearby. It was also really good.

He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely excited about everything we encountered in the preserve. Every time he spotted something interesting, he seemed just as excited to show us as we were to see it. His enthusiasm was completely genuine and contagious, and it made the entire experience that much more fun. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. If you take this tour, ask for Nick!

This is the second time we ha e done this kayak tour and it never disappoints! So much wildlife and Shell Key is beautiful. Our guide Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable and we even got a bit of a glow tour since the sun was setting at the end of our tour. Fun!

This was the most fun we’ve had during our entire vacation so far! Nick was a great and knowledgable guide. The sunset tour was awesome because it was so much cooler than any daytime kayak would be-, which in August is a factor. We saw dolphins and birds and fish. Sunset at shell island was magnificent! The shelling was amazing. The paddling wasn’t difficult. The led lighting on the paddle back was super cool. Make sure to bring sunglasses as the paddle out was a bit hard to see because you’re paddling straight toward the sinking sun. No help for that since you’re going to see sunset.

Beautiful evening on the water. Mac, our guide was very knowledgeable. Looking forward to doing a trip during the day once the weather is a bit cooler. We were worried about mosquitoes and bugs but they weren’t a problem. Make sure you dress to get wet.

Max was our guide and was GREAT! Loved this experience and would do again. The kayaks are a bit uncomfortable so bring a cushion for your behind!
